Last Chapter Recap: Next, we engaged in a few conversations about the Neo-Terran, Alliance government, and crew members, with plenty of flirty remarks in between.
NOW
While Laura kept talking and asking questions in our conversation, I enjoyed her beautiful big juicy breasts and her ample nipples.
Before we finished, she received an encrypted message from Space Titans HQ. She stood up and got ready to leave.
"Thank you for sharing the meal with me, Ensign," Laura said, smiling.
"My pleasure," Adam said with a smile, before both went their separate ways.
MC's Room
"Phew."
"It was a tiresome first day, but I think I gathered some valuable information on both ship and the crew."
"After my shift I have eight hours of almost complete freedom. Even someone as capable as commander Heidi cannot monitor the crew whilst taking care of other duties."
"I guess it means I need to move swiftly… huh."
"I don't know if I'd be able to execute my plan over this mission, but I want to at least test my equipment on one subject before we land."
"If only—" Adam's thoughts were cut off by the sudden red flash and the blaring alarm that echoed throughout the ship.
"Drill?! Already?! This fucking captain…" Adam grumbled irritably.
Comms: Attention! We've detected enemy ships in our lane. All crew come to battle stations. I repeat, come to battle station! This is not a drill!
If we're near pandora, an encounter with neo society patrol isn't completely unlikely. Whatever since I am still in my uniform, it doesn't take much time for me to run out and head for the deck.
Deck
Everyone is already on their stations, glued to monitors.
"I ran as fast as possible!" Adam exclaimed. "What's the situation?"
"That's your job to determine, Intelligence Officer!" Selana said seriously and left to command others.
'Fucking slave driver… all right. I need her trust, so I better not screw this up' Adam grumbled.
"Five enemies ahead: one cruiser and four space jets! The cruiser is an Excellent-class! Two S-class Jojo jets and two A-class Jen jets! No other vessels detected!" Adam urgently monitored and reported to the deck members.
"Any room for error, Ensign?" Heidi asked, doubtful.
"None at all, ma'am!" Adam said.
'Five ships… it means, a raid group. I was right.'
"I see," Selana turned and commanded, "Ensign Natasha, full ahead! Prepare the fighter jets! We'll engage them in five minutes."
"What?! Captain, this is much too reck—!" Adam shouted, shocked by the captain's sudden decision.
"Ensign, focus on your job!" Heidi complained. "Report enemy position every minute!"
"But-!" Adam hesitated.
"Don't worry, it'll be alright," Brody said with a smile.
Adam watched in disbelief as the outrageous battle unfolded. He couldn't say anything, but he knew his job was clear—he had to do it perfectly. He focused on reporting to the captain and updating the crew, his mind racing with the intensity of the situation. Every deck member was on fire with work, operating at full capacity, making the ship hum with activity.
Captain ordered Natasha's team to engage in battle with their space jets. Without hesitation, Natasha and her team rushed to their stations, launching their jets into the cold expanse of space. They engaged the enemy with fierce determination, with the battle unfolding outside the Goliath.
Within seven minutes, under the captain's outrageous command, the battle was over only enemy cruiser escaped. The other enemy forces were swiftly defeated, and the once-dominant threat was reduced to debris floating in space.
"Wait a second here!" Adam asked, his voice rising in disbelief. "You're just going to leave the enemy cruiser like that?"
"Any objections, Ensign?!" Selana asked.
'I just don't know what goes in this bitch's head.' Adam thought.
"For your information, Ensign, your performance in this battle was unsatisfactory," Selana said with a stern look. "Is this what they teach now in the academy?"
Here's the corrected version with your prompt:
"No, I-" Adam started to speak, but was cut off by Selana's stern gaze.
"I expect my intelligence officer to provide more than what you gave," Selana said with doubt. "Or were you going easy on your former society?"
"That's outrageous, Captain!" Adam exclaimed.
"It was his first battle, Captain," Brody said.
"Hmph, you're as easy on newbies as always, Lt. Brody," Selana said.
'No, you're the one who's being unreasonable, you damn bitch!' Adam grumbled.
"Captain, we're ready to start the procedure," Heidi said, saluting.
"Good. Begin preparations," Selana nodded and turned to the deck members. "All unnecessary personnel are dismissed."
"Yes, ma'am!" all crew members saluted in unison.
"Not you, Ensign Black," Selana turned to Adam. "I want a precise report on enemy damage by the morning."
"Ugh..." Adam groaned, feeling the weight of the task ahead.
