We drove to the where the shop was going to be. 7th and Trench a beautiful name for a location for a shop location. I got out of the truck seeing Den and the demons getting done with the shop.
"Runic! How does it look?" Den asked with excitement.
"Looking good are they getting the work done?" I asked as I walk up to the door. I saw the door had a sign. Exorcist Den, your one stop shops for the Occult. I smiled at the sign. We stepped inside the shop seeing the demons has working on the inside of the shop. Inside the shop we saw empty shelves and a weapon case or two.
"The demons are almost done I am about ready to put the items on the shelves." Den answered as I saw him glow the brightest blue light I have ever seen.
"Den, we have finished sir." The tallest demon said as they got down from the latter and made their way to the front of the shop. I saw around shop.
"Den get the stuff up for display." I said as I grabbed the contracts.
"Demu, Grathu, Futu!" I shouted the names of the Demons and handed the contracts to them. Demu and Futu vanished. Grathu stood there looking at her contract.
"Can I stay?" Grathu question catching me off guard.
"You want to stay?" I asked. Grathu nodded.
"You can stay. You can be a worker." I said seeing her smile. Her red skin with white markings and a smile that creepy to the ones that haven't grew around them, but to me it was sweet.
"You are going to need a human look for when the customers get here. Don't need you scaring the people more than needed." I said with a smile. I looked at Officer Mia.
"So, you have a spirit and a Demon working for you." Officer Mia said as she looked around as items was brought to the shelves and weapon cases. I smiled.
"How does this look Runic?" Grathu asked. I turn to see her a size of a sixteen-year-old girl with blonde hair and clear skin. Dressed like an emo schoolgirl.
"You look good right Officer Mia?" I asked I saw an approving smile.
"Very human." Officer Mia said. Grathu smiled as she walked to the back room. I followed as I saw a cot there.
"You could take the apartment upstairs Grathu." I said knowing even though yes, she is a demon she needed privacy. I watched her teleport to the second floor. I walked out of the back room and saw the shop was complete. It was perfect. I saw Den work on making the armor perfect on the stand.
"Den you ready to be the spirit of the shop?" I asked as I saw the spirit jump and glow bright. I saw as Den move into the shop walls, and I heard the building talk. "This is perfect!"
"Glad you approve." I said as I got back to the door and hung my suit coat up on a hook. I felt at home again. "Mom, I did it, I finally did it." I whispered as I felt a tear ran down my cheek for the first time in a long time. I whipped the tear away and turn to the shop. "Tomorrow, we open for the first time!"
