Chapter 3: The Billionaire Awakens
Lee Hwan stepped into the tall glass building that loomed like a monument of power — the Global Finance Bank of Seoul. The cool air inside was a sharp contrast to the outside heat, and every surface gleamed with wealth.
He wore a simple black hoodie and jeans, but the small, metallic Merchant Access Card he held in his hand shimmered with a strange blue glow — only visible to players.
He approached the front counter.
The receptionist, a young woman in a formal suit, smiled politely.
"Hello, sir. How may I assist you today?"
Lee casually handed her the card.
"I'd like to activate my Merchant Account. Full access."
She took the card, scanning it through a crystal-clear device meant for Tower-related clients.
Suddenly, the device beeped.
A loud, long chime echoed through the room.
The woman blinked. Her screen flashed red, then gold, and then a new text appeared across it:

Balance: 118,000,000,000 USD
Account Holder: Lee Hwan
She froze.
"S-Sir..." she stuttered, standing up straight. "W-we'll escort you to the VVIP lounge immediately."
Lee scratched his neck. "Uh, alright."
In moments, two security officers in suits arrived and guided him to a golden elevator that required palm and card authorization. The walls were velvet, the lights dimmed and soft. As they ascended, one of the guards glanced at him.
"You're... a Ranker, aren't you?"
Lee shrugged. "Just a traveler from the Tower."
When the elevator opened, a luxury suite awaited — wide leather seats, gold-framed art, a personal bar, and a wide window overlooking the Seoul skyline.
Another staff member approached. "Sir Lee Hwan, your personal banking advisor will be with you shortly. Is there anything else you require?"
Lee sat down, relaxing into the soft chair.
"Yeah," he said. "I need a house. A secure one. Somewhere private."
He looked out the window, his tone quiet now.
"And I'll need access to every item shop connected to the Tower. I'm going back soon."
