She bombarded me with quizzes about politics, etiquette, history, things she barely cared to explain before. her cold eyes sharpened with every wrong answer I gave, and her voice was clipped, strict, and unforgiving. It didn't take a genius to realize she was angry. Not just angry, furious at Ajax. But since she could not last out at him, she took it out on me.
