Chapter 18 - Puppeteer

He woke up, questions unanswered but thirst unlocked.

What could he get away with?

What would people belief?

Possiblities ran high as he awakened in new skin.

Pale, making it seem like he glowed in the darkness off the room he found himself in.

His hair long but dirty, lingered around his form.

Bottles surrounded him left and right, the previous a clear drunkard by what the surrounding showed.

''Tch, this useless prince.

Look at him, the only thing he does is drink.''

Prince?

Feet schuffeld as they passed by him, kicking away bottles surrounding their feet as they checked if he was still there.

''He's still a prince, puppet or not.''

Ouch, goodness that said a lot.

{Prince Milori Millrose.

Due to his father and brother, the crown prince, the royal family lost all influence and was left with barely a face to live with.

Her Ladyship Sarayah Solace, daughter of the duke and duchess has not so long ago been giving the task of finding a use of the deposed king, crown prince and the second prince, who had been uninvolved in the affronted matters.

None the less , weeks after her task had been assigned, Milori found himself in for a huge shock.

Whilst getting drunk, in hopes of misery disappearing, he suddenly found himself in the hands of a leering noblewomen.

Days later rumour would flow about just how handsome the second prince was and everyone wanted a taste.

Sarayah Solace even came to visit him for the first time, saddened that she missed the chance as he had been dirtied, sullied by the noblewoman's touch.

However it was Sarayah who agreed on letting the noble wash her anger away on the second prince for a price.

Now found usefull, he was visited whenever someone fancied a taste, a prince used like a slave.

He didn't know how many but too much, noblemen and noblewoman forced him to grovel.

An act a prince never should be forced too, it drained and killed him in the end.

Sarayah looking upon his body, only dismayed by the lack of gains it would bring, for it had been profitable.

Thinking he had been usefull to direct the nobles dissatisfaction and leave her, her father the duke and her mother the duchess in power without much negative feedback aswell.}

Sighing loudly, he didn't care for anyone overhearing.

He was just a drunken fool.

Dead by those beneath him, touched and sullied in anger and frustration.

Alright, no time like now to start.

Considering his controlled surroundings, it would make sense for the Solace family to already have taken control.

The reason the original Milori Millrose was forced into that position was because of Sarayah never having seen him.

It wasn't a fix but for now it had to do.

Let's explore!

--------

It was lively, everything and everyone was bustling around. Speaking loudly and wildly.

The tragedy of the royal family.

Gossip flowing like tea.

"Did you hear. Apparently Velicia has been in contact with the Solaces. The crown prince has been disposed off, so she has been asking to act upon her anger on someone else."

"Your not serious."

"Most definitely, I heard she will be asking for the second prince, so that she may relieve the pain his family caused hers."

"The second prince. That lazy, drunken and ugly prince?"

"Yeah, no one's seem him so that must be the case.

There all sorts of rumours too, last I heard..."

Passing by them, he faltered, falling over thin air and barely catching himself on the gossiping duo's table.

His emblem with the royal family's insignia slipping out and clinging loudly on the floor.

Gaining the attention from his immediate surroundings.

"Excuse you!??"

Gulping, he rapidly picked up the emblem, hiding it with his hands as he rushed outside.

It was too late, they had seen but he seemed desperate enough as his silver hair flowed behind him.

Gasps and shocked murmours, exclamations, just like he wanted.

An uproar visible happened as the majority rushed out to let everyone know.

The second prince had been seen.

-----

Sneaking back in his room had been easy, they didn't care enough for the prince anyways.

It wouldn't take long, the rumours must have reached her ears as he even stayed away till darkness started clouding the sky.

Now he moved in a hurry, gathering things in a pretense, his head already thinking off what's next.

It didn't take long.

Sarayah entered in a way it could be regarded as imposing. The doors were pushed opon for her and at each side she was surrounded by dozens of guards and maids.

There was no need for anything to be said, roughly he was grabbed from before the cabinet,by the two guards from before, who pushed him down into a kneeling position.

Not even a day and the usurper already came to visit.

He was doing better than the original.

"Are you leaving?"

He didn't answer, head bowed and face unseen.

''There is talk, that the prince was seen outside, he was found loitering around a shop before ,in his haste, stumbling and dropping his emblem.

What do you have to say for yourself?''

Nothing.

Meekly, his head lowered more, aligning with the original's avoiding traits.

''They talk about how the sun seemed to disappear with you in front of it, how stunning you were.

Show me."

On cue, the quards forced him up, his lower lip nibbled on, a show of nervous feelings.

Silence

Silence...before she grasped his chin so roughly it would be bruised.

''Some nobles asked for a night with you, fun and revenge combined in one.

I was going to agree however....no one told me you were this refined.''

''Ah...ahh....le...t...go...ugn''

It seemed to please her.

''Alrighy, I have found the perfect spot for you.

You shall be my male mistress.''

He expected nothing else, shifting in discomfort, his eyes narrowed slowly.

At least he was saved from the hands of other, now he found himself in the lion's den.

Male mistress, he was still a prince.

With nothing to show for it but still.

"I guess it was my fault for believing the rumours. "

''Uhmff."Dragged up, they followed behind the mulling Sarayah.

"It's not like you got your good locks from your father, your brother was worse on the eyes so I assumed you would be the same.

Royalty or not, there's is only so much you can tolerate coming from a cheap face.

If I hadn't heard of you sneaking out, I wouldn't have come to check and either you would have been taken by someone else or you would have escaped.

Now-"

They stilled, having reached their destination as the door opened wide.

"-where did you think you were going?''

A sweet, venomous smile basking in darkness that shadow was made off.
