Yuuki couldn't focus in class.
The professor's words blurred into background noise. His notes? Just scattered doodles of hearts, umbrellas, and the word "Sorry."
Minami's face when she saw them.
Arisa's voice saying "trial relationship."
His brain was a minefield of regret and maybe-love.
As the bell rang, he stepped into the hallway and nearly collided with her.
Minami.
She looked tired. And… determined.
"Walk with me?" she asked.
He hesitated. Then nodded.

They walked in silence across the courtyard, past vending machines and couples who had it way easier than him.
"I thought I was okay with losing you," she finally said. "Back then, when I ignored your message. When I switched schools. I thought it wouldn't matter."
Yuuki stayed quiet.
"But today… seeing her hold your hand… it mattered."
"Minami—"
"I don't want to lose again."
That sentence hit differently.
"I'm not saying you owe me anything," she added, voice shaking. "I just needed you to know. Before it's really too late."
She looked up at him with the eyes that once made him fall hard.
He opened his mouth—
But his phone buzzed.
Arisa: "Free at 6? Movie date?"
Two girls.
Two paths.
And the one thing Yuuki hadn't figured out yet…
Was who he actually wanted to walk forward with.
