"Zhongli, what do we do?! They look like two giant Mitachurls!"

Paimon stared at the Titan Giant Ape and Sky Azure Bull Python, instinctively recalling the terrifying Frostarm Lawachurls she and the Traveler had encountered in Dragonspine.

In the game, Mitachurls didn't seem that big—but in reality, they were several stories tall, far more imposing than this so-called Titan Giant Ape.

And unlike ordinary beasts, Mitachurls wielded elemental powers, making each variant uniquely dangerous.

"No need for panic."

"I will have order!"

In an instant, Zhongli shifted into his "martial soul fusion" form.

Two yellow, two purple, four black, and one blood-red soul ring materialized beneath his feet—though they were nothing more than illusions.

As the first "soul ring" flickered, Zhongli clenched his fists, and an amber glow enveloped the area.

A shield, reinforced with geo-imbued chains, encased Qian Renxue, Ci Xue, Paimon, and Zhongli himself—yet it did not hinder their movement.

Qian Renxue and Ci Xue examined the earthen barrier, an unshakable sense of security washing over them.

It was an indescribable feeling—but one thought dominated their minds:

As long as this shield holds, nothing can harm us.

And this… was just his first soul skill?!

How terrifyingly overpowered was this?!

At that moment, the Titan Giant Ape's fist slammed into Zhongli.

The sheer force quaked the earth.

"Huh?"

The ape retracted its fist, its expression twisting in human-like confusion.

That strike had been near its full power—yet it hadn't even scratched the shield?

Impossible.

Its fists had shattered mountains—how could they be so useless?

"No… NO!"

With a furious roar, it struck again—but the result remained unchanged.

The Titan Giant Ape froze, utterly baffled.

Then, its gaze shifted toward Qian Renxue and Ci Xue, who were still standing there, unharmed.

Fine. If Zhongli was untouchable… what about them?

Abandoning all honor, the ape swung at them instead.

"Young lady, WATCH OUT!"

Ci Xue lunged forward, bracing for a brutal impact—

—only to find himself unscathed, staring directly into the ape's equally bewildered eyes.

What… just happened?

Absolute defense. Group shielding.

This was beyond terrifying.

"Uh… Uncle Ci Xue, I think we don't need to run anymore."

If Zhongli's first skill alone could render even a 100,000-year spirit beast helpless…

"Indeed. Consultant Zhongli's strength is… unfathomable."

Taking a full-force punch from the Titan Giant Ape without even flinching?

The shield hadn't so much as flickered.

This was the definition of safety.

The Sky Azure Bull Python's expression darkened.

It knew the Titan Giant Ape's strength—yet multiple strikes hadn't even cracked the shield?

If those punches had landed on it, it would've needed time to recover.

But now, the battle had already begun—there was no turning back.

Gritting its teeth, the python accelerated its lightning gathering.

A crackling sphere of blue thunder formed in its maw before hurtling toward Zhongli.

"LOOK OUT!"

Qian Renxue's voice rang out—instinctive concern, even though she knew Zhongli was beyond such threats.

The lightning ball collided with the shield—

—and vanished without a trace.

The two beast kings stared in disbelief.

How?!

This was just Zhongli's first soul skill—his weakest—yet it had no-sold their strongest attacks?!

Wait…

Was this human… a Rank 99 monster?!

If so, their defeat would be inevitable.

"Zhongli, are you okay?!"

Paimon fluttered to his side, her voice trembling.

If something happened to him, how would she survive in this world?

No strength, no knowledge—she'd be helpless!

"I am unharmed."

Zhongli's expression remained stoic—though an almost imperceptible twitch flickered in his eye.

He might have… slightly overdone the elemental energy.

Realistically, the shield should've wavered after those attacks—appearing on the verge of breaking.

But oh well.

"Great Beast Kings, retreat now, and I shall act as though this never occurred."

Zhongli still preferred diplomacy.

But if they refused…

Well. He could always switch to physical persuasion.

"Human, such a powerful skill MUST have limitations!"

"You cannot deceive us!"

Since when did powerful humans bother reasoning with spirit beasts?

Even if he didn't need soul rings—what about 100,000-year soul bones?!

This human was clearly trying to trick them into leaving!

All humans were deceitful—this one was no exception.

Zhongli: "…"

It seemed that in the Douluo Continent, neither humans nor beasts understood the concept of peaceful negotiation.

Very well.

If they wouldn't listen to words…

"You truly refuse to yield?"

His voice deepened, carrying an imperial weight.

"Human, your lies won't work on us!"

Their fury only intensified upon seeing the 100,000-year soul ring on Zhongli.

"Then you shall remain here."

If they wouldn't heed reason, he had no choice.

After multiple failed attacks, they still believed he had reached his limit?

How… optimistic.

"ROAR—!"

"Planet Befall."

With a single wave of his hand—

—the sky above Star Dou Forest lit up, as though multiple suns had appeared.

Gigantic stone spears, each radiating an amber glow, materialized midair, their tips aimed squarely at the two beast kings.

There were dozens of them—each larger than the beasts themselves.

The Sky Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape: "…"

What… is this?!

Qian Renxue and Ci Xue: "…"

Their jaws slackened, words failing them.

This… was Consultant Zhongli's true power?

This was beyond terror.

Clear skies over Star Dou Forest… until the stone spears fell.

As the first few lances descended, the beast kings' expressions twisted into sheer horror.

These colossal weapons of rock—what monstrosity had they provoked?!

BOOM—!

BOOM—!

With each impact, the beasts' agonized roars echoed—until, by the third spear, silence.

And these were just scaled-down versions—mere tens of meters long.

Had Zhongli unleashed their true scale—kilometer-long spears—a single strike would have annihilated them multiple times over.

They had been given a choice: listen to reason, or face the physics lesson.

They chose the latter.

Qian Renxue and Ci Xue trembled, their gazes locked onto Zhongli as though he were a god of war.

Ci Xue had been ready to assist—but Zhongli had ended the battle with a gesture.

Two 100,000-year spirit beasts—defeated in seconds.

"So this… is the strength of the Geo Archon before his ascension?"

Qian Renxue murmured, her eyes wide with awe.
