Chapter 6 - The Shock of All Party's and The Overpowered 'Absolute' Race

Right now, the entire universe is in a state of shock. An Aeon has descended to a planet—and not just one, but two!

The Aeons who've appeared are Nous, the Erudition, and Fuli, the Remembrance. Their arrival has grabbed the attention of every living being in the cosmos. Such events are incredibly rare and always signal that something monumental is happening on Jarilo-VI.

Fuli's presence, in particular, is a massive clue. Everyone knows that when this Aeon shows up, it means an event so critical to the universe is unfolding on Jarilo-VI that Fuli has come in person to witness and record it.

It didn't take long for every civilization in the universe to start digging for details about Jarilo-VI. But what they found was another shock: the planet has been considered dead—or at least uninhabited—for hundreds of years!

This wasn't entirely surprising. Jarilo-VI had been cut off from interstellar networks for ages, leading most to assume no civilization survived there.

But the appearance of two Aeons flipped that idea on its head. Clearly, there must be life—maybe even a thriving society—still on Jarilo-VI!

That alone was enough to spark action. Driven by curiosity and eager to uncover the reason behind the Aeons' visit, civilizations across the universe decided to head to Jarilo-VI themselves.

This included Herta, the brilliant Genius No. 83 of the Genius Society!

"Asta, get a spaceship shuttle ready for me—fast. I'm going to Jarilo-VI right now," Herta ordered. Her voice came from the puppet body she was using as she spoke to Asta, a young woman with pink hair, a slender build, and a striking face that carried the confident vibe of a "wealthy heiress."

"Madam Herta?!" Asta gasped, nearly jumping out of her skin. She'd been so caught up in her work that she hadn't noticed Herta pop up beside her.

"Forget that," Asta muttered, shaking her head. She was used to Herta's habit of appearing out of nowhere by now. "So, Madam wants me to prep a shuttle for Jarilo-VI right away?"

Herta nodded firmly. Still curious, Asta couldn't help but ask, "Wait, Madam also interested in Jarilo-VI too? I didn't think a Genius such as Madam would care about a place like that."

"You're missing the point, Asta," Herta said, shaking her head with a spark of excitement in her eyes. "If it were some ordinary Aeon, I might be a little curious. But this is Nous—Nous, the Erudition!" Asta froze, starting to grasp the weight of Herta's words.

"It's almost unheard of for something to make Nous show up in person! Even when I and the other Geniuses were invited to the Genius Society, Nous only watched us from afar—never bothered to meet us directly!" Herta's voice buzzed with enthusiasm, her eagerness to unravel this mystery practically bursting out.

"D-Does this mean there's something incredible on Jarilo-VI—something big enough to catch the attention of the Erudition itself?!" Asta exclaimed, her voice trembling with awe. Herta nodded eagerly in agreement.

"B-But how's that possible? How could Nous be so curious about something? Doesn't Nous know everything? How could THEY be interested if THEY already know it all?!" Asta stammered, her confusion growing.

Herta's face shifted, a mix of intrigue and complexity crossing her features. "Even the all-knowing have their limits, Asta. Figuring out the true nature of divinity… it's never that simple."

Herta's mood quickly snapped back to normal. She gave a gentle nudge to Asta, who was still caught up in her flustered state, repeating her order for the spaceship shuttle before logging out of her puppet body.

I can't wait to talk about this with Screwllum and Ruan Mei. Though, knowing how smart they are, they've probably already caught wind of it.

Back in her real body, Herta immediately noticed a new message. Sure enough, when she opened it, it was from Ruan Mei.

[Ruan Mei: Herta, are you free? If so, join the meeting in the Metaverse now. Screwllum, I, and even Stephen are already there.]

Without a second thought, Herta dove into the Metaverse. As expected, everyone was already gathered, deep in serious discussion. Their voices buzzed with focus as they debated, piecing together the true reason behind Nous's appearance on Jarilo-VI.

Meanwhile, on Rozen's side, he found himself in a truly unique situation—face-to-face with the Aeons themselves. Honestly, it was a massive headache for him.

I knew my research would catch the Aeons' attention, but I never thought they'd show up in person like this.

The thought made his head spin. Their presence had just shattered his plan to quietly advance and evolve Belobog's civilization. Soon, the whole universe would know what he was up to.

Forget it. I'd better confront the Aeons waiting for me—otherwise, they're not going anywhere.

Rozen tapped into and activated the 'Instant Transmission' power from Dragon Ball. In a flash, his body vanished from the lab and reappeared in the vastness of space, standing right before the Aeons.

"So, what're you guys doing here? Spying on me or something?" Rozen asked casually, as if the high-dimensional entities capable of obliterating the universe were just old buddies.

Nous's 'eyes' flared to life, emitting mechanical hums and signals that no ordinary human could decipher. Yet Rozen understood exactly what was being conveyed.

[Query: Who are you?]

"Me?" Rozen pointed at himself, a mischievous grin spreading as he landed on an answer. "I… am Steve!!!"

Silence. The air turned painfully awkward. Rozen stood frozen, but his face flushed tomato-red, betraying the embarrassment churning inside.

Arghhh!!! Why did I make such a cringey, awful joke?! I knew Aeons aren't normal beings you can joke with like humans! I'm such an idiot! If only I could go back in time and stop myself!

As panic and shame overwhelmed him, a sudden realization hit: with his current powers, he *could* travel through time—backward or forward.

Without hesitation, his eyes gleamed with determination. Activating his 'Omega' power, he began searching for the perfect time-travel ability to use.

He knew this was probably—no, definitely—over-the-top. But what else could he do? The embarrassment from that joke was so intense, it made him want to hide from everyone or just disappear on the spot.

So…

"No, not time travel. There's no guarantee the 'past' I'd visit is my current timeline. I'll just use Time Reversal!" Rozen muttered mysteriously. Fuli stood silently, recording the moment, while Nous immediately began observing and calculating with fierce intensity.

But no matter how hard Nous tried, THEY couldn't grasp what Rozen was about to do.

ALERT! SUBJECT'S VALUE HAS SHIFTED DRASTICALLY!!! RECALCULATING… ERROR! ERROR! SUBJECT CANNOT BE CALCULATED!!! UNKNOWN VARIABLES CONTINUOUSLY EMERGING!!!

Thick smoke billowed from Nous, THEIR immense processing power overwhelmed. The calculations ground to a halt, marking yet another failure to comprehend anything tied to Rozen right now.

Having successfully copied the '100% Lucy' power, Rozen made a swift hand gesture. A miracle unfolded—the universe froze for a heartbeat, then everything rewound, time itself flowing backward!

It only lasted a moment. Rozen just wanted to return to the seconds before he'd unleashed that mortifying joke.

Seeing he'd hit the exact right moment, Rozen nodded, satisfied. "Alright, time's back to normal," he said, releasing his grip on the flow of time.

In that instant, Nous and Fuli sensed a dramatic shift in Rozen. His once-relaxed, ordinary aura transformed into something deeply enigmatic—especially his eyes, which seemed to hold knowledge of all things, past and yet to come. To the two Aeons, Rozen no longer felt like a mere mortal but like a God—perhaps even surpassing the Aeons themselves.

Adjusting his clothes, Rozen deactivated Lucy's power. The sensation of being omnipotent and omniscient was thrilling, but it could easily make life feel dull and predictable.

As he returned to his normal self, the mysterious, commanding aura around him vanished instantly. Nous and Fuli, watching closely, felt as though what they'd seen moments ago was merely an illusion—though both knew that, as Aeons, they couldn't be fooled unless it came from the Aeon of Mythus itself.

Rozen cleared his throat and gave a graceful bow. "Allow me to introduce myself: I am Rozen Itsuki, the future Supreme Emperor and Savior of the Belobog Civilization! I am also the creator of the Homo Perfectus race—or as I call it, 'The Absolute'—the race that Belobog's people will soon evolve into!"

Nous paused for a moment, processing Rozen's words with a flurry of calculations. After reaching a conclusion, THEY posed another question.

[Query: What is the nature of 'The Absolute' race?]

Rozen's face lit up with pride. "Exactly as the name suggests—perfection," he replied. "The Absolute are the ultimate race in the universe. They're immortal, self-sustaining, and indestructible, with unwavering high morals. Their minds stay forever young, so they never face depression or boredom. Their intelligence outshines even the greatest geniuses. They adapt instantly to anything, control their bodies down to the atomic level, and can shift between organic, spiritual, material, or non-material forms. In short, they're a race that can do anything!"

At this, Nous's 'eyes' flared brightly. THEY immediately began calculating Belobog's future based on Rozen's description. After a tense stretch of heavy computation—smoke even curling from THEIR form—Nous arrived at a result so staggering it left THEM in awe.

The truth was undeniable: the Belobog civilization, or rather the civilization of 'The Absolute' race, could endure forever—potentially outlasting even the heat death of the universe! More astonishing still, they might leave the universe entirely before its collapse.

This revealed just how advanced this civilization could become. Nous understood why: every member of 'The Absolute' possessed intelligence surpassing even the Geniuses of the Genius Society—not just any geniuses, but the elite of the elite!

For the first time, Nous was speechless. It was almost miraculous that an Aeon like THEM could feel such a human-like reaction.

Rozen, waiting for a response that never came, grew puzzled.

Does an Aeon like Nous really need to think this long, like some ordinary being? Aren't THEY the Aeon of Erudition, with answers at THEIR fingertips?

While Rozen wondered, Nous recovered from THEIR stunned silence only to grapple with a new, unfamiliar emotion: conflict.

Why the conflict? Nous was tempted to invite Rozen and his thirty Biologist clones to join the Genius Society, unaware that those clones were also Rozen. Yet, THEY hesitated. If Belobog's people evolved into 'The Absolute,' countless individuals would emerge with intellect far beyond the current Geniuses—rendering the Genius Society's exclusivity obsolete.

Realizing that such brilliance would no longer be rare, Nous concluded that the Society's purpose would fade. In the end, THEY chose not to invite Rozen or his clones.

With that decision made, Nous vanished without a word, leaving Rozen uncertain whether THEY were satisfied or not. Moments later, Fuli followed, fading away—a relief to Rozen, who let out a quiet sigh.
