I woke up to my head banging like crazy and my pillow drenched in tears from last night. Aaron was not in bed with me, so I figured he was out. Today was saturday, which meant no work today.
I stood up and stretched my bones lazily. A loud yawn followed and relieved washed down my body. A strange smell lingered in the air. It was bacon, I sniffed it deeper, and I was so sure it was bacon.
I walked out of the bedroom to confirm my suspicion, and to my shock, I saw bacon and eggs on the table with a handwritten note. It was from Aaron.
Hey, I made you some food, I hope you like it.
I tossed the note aside and dug in. It tasted as good as it smelled, I don't think I have had good food in days.
Thoughts of last night came rushing to me. The thoughts of me crying about falling for him, now that I have had a good sleep and rested well, I really doubt I was falling for him. My emotions were all over the place last night, so stupid thoughts lingered in my head.
Yes, that was right, I was not falling for him. The lack of interaction with men was making me think I was actually in love with a man like Aaron. I remembered I had Zach Brown's business card. Bingo. Going on a date with him would keep me in check.
I finished my food and tossed the empty plate in the sink before going back to the bedroom to freshen up.
I took a cold shower, I don't know what it was, but I was loving cold showers these days. When I finished, I stepped out and called Zach.
' He beautiful' he said from across the phone, making my heart skip a beat.
'Hey Zach, I was wondering if you were free today' I said nervously, I don't know what it was with Zach, but he always made me nervous, in a good way.
'I was waiting for this call, I almost thought you would not call me' he said seductively, and I blushed.
'Well I did, so are you free or what?' I said, trying to sound nonchalant.
'I would send you the details, or I could come pick you up' he said'
' Send me the details' I said without a second thought.
'Sure, sure' he said, letting out a curt laugh. I ended the call and started getting ready. I was so stressed about what to wear. I felt none of the clothes I had would do. As I was rummaging through my wardrobe, I stumbled across a floral sundress and immediately knew this was the dress.
I wore it and did a light makeup on my face. I checked my phone and saw the address was already there, I did some finishing touchs before heading out.
I was so excited about this date. It was my first date in like forever. The inner child in me was screaming, and thoughts of Aaron did not even cross my mind. I should have let him pick me up, just for the plot, but I was nervous and scared Aaron would come home at the same time.
It was not like I was cheating or anything. It was a friendly date, but I still cared about what Aaron would think if he saw me with another man. It was not like I was going on this date so he would catch me and get jealous or anything, right?. Who cares, as far as I have a good time on my date and enjoy myself.
Zach still didn't know who I was. I don't want that to get in the way of the deal we are about to sign. The progress has been good so far, and I am sure I would get the deal by Tuesday. I hope he doesn't request to see me, I want the big reveal to be at my wedding announcement party. He was invited, of course, but he does not know who invited him.
I got to the location he sent to me, and it was a fancy restaurant. A valet came and took my car as I stood in front of the restaurant. It was nothing like I had gone to before. It was magnificent.
I slowly walked into the restaurant, like the main character in a big tv show, eyes following me as I walked. Then I spotted Zach at a table waving at me, I walked to the table with a big smile on my face.
'Hi' I said as I approached the table.
'You look stunning' he said as he pulled out my seat for me, and I sat like a queen before he also sat on the chair opposite mine.
'God, you are so beautiful' he said again, and I could not help but blush hard. Hearing I was beautiful sent a wave of happiness through me that I could not explain.
'You don't look bad yourself' I said, and he smiled. A waiter came over to take our orders.
'I am so lucky to be on this date with you' he said, and I just smiled. He really knows how to make women blush. I felt some pairs of eyes boring into my back, call it the sixth sense. I looked back and saw Aaron staring at me. He looked angry, jealous, and betrayed. I didn't know what to do, so I just turned back to Zach. I wanted him to see me with Zach, but not so soon.
'Hey buddy' Zach said as he stood up to hug someone. I looked, and it was Aaron.
'Meet my date Lois, Lois meet my partner I guess, Aaron' Zach said as he introduced us.
'Nice to meet you' he said bitterly and left.
'I am sorry about that' Zach said, apologizing on his behalf. 'He has been having trouble with his wife lately and is really affected by it' he said, I smiled wearily and acted uninterested.
When we were done, he dropped me at the house. I thought this date would take Aaron off my mind, but it didn't. The thoughts of Aaron flooded my mind non-stop. Me seeing him at that restaurant aggravated the thoughts.
I walked into the house and saw Aaron seated on the couch. When he spotted me, he stood up and walked towards me.
'It had to be him' he said, holding my hands tightly.
'Let me go, you are hurting me' I yelled in his face, but he was not budging.
'I am sorry, okay? I was drugged by her, making me think it was you, I would never sleep with any girl apart from you' he yelled back at me. I ignored what he said as my hand was burning from pain.
'LEAVE MY HAND' I yelled, and he slowly released my hand, looking at me defeated.
'Don't you see what you are doing to me Lois' he said. I looked at him too, little does he know that all I could think about lately was him.
'I need you' he said with a whisper. He slowly brought his face closer and slammed his lips on mine, I didn't fight it, I wanted him and I wanted him now, I jumped on him and he placed his arms under my butt to support me.
The kiss grew faster as emotions flew everywhere in the room, pants flying across the room.
Before I knew what was happening, I was on the couch naked with Aaron on top of me, making passionate love to me.
