Chapter 3 - System’s Blessing

The night breeze caressed Takeshi's still-warm skin as he lay there, eyes fixed on the ceiling—starless, yet full of thoughts. The crumpled sheets still bore the imprint of their embrace, but Natsumi was gone. She had left the room, gently but firmly refusing to stay despite his whispered pleas, despite his arm reaching for her in the dark.

"It's better if I go," she had said, eyes avoiding his, her voice laced with emotion and restraint.

He hadn't insisted. Deep down, maybe he understood. For a first encounter, it had already been intense.

As he recalled it, a smile slowly curled on his lips. The look on her face at the peak of her pleasure, the indecent way her hips moved—it was all engraved in his memory like a high-capacity SD card.

Then suddenly, he remembered something.

"The system... I completely forgot about it..."

Takeshi sat up slightly, reaching out toward the small floating sphere that had silently activated. He hadn't had time to read the messages earlier, too distracted by Natsumi's overwhelming presence.

[System] — Quest completed. 100 merit points awarded.

[System] — For giving the target a second orgasm, an additional 100 points are awarded.

"If I'd known earlier, I would've given her more than two orgasms," he muttered, frowning. "But more importantly… what exactly are merit points?"

The text disappeared, replaced by a description.

[Merit Points]: Points earned by the host for completing quests.

Takeshi stayed silent, eyes staring into nothingness.

He already had an idea. Now it was just a matter of how far this system could take him.

"System, what can I do with the merit points?"

[System] — Merit points can be exchanged for skills or any item available in the shop.

Takeshi wasn't surprised. In fact, he was pleased. In this world, only strength could guarantee safety, and with this system, it was no longer a distant dream. All he had to do was complete the quests.

"What kinds of quests are there, and where can I find them?"

[System] — Quests come in many forms, ranging from training, target submission, to elimination.

"Submission must refer to conquering the various waifus of the universe," Takeshi thought. "...but eliminating certain targets… now that sounds way more interesting than I expected."

"How are elimination targets selected?"

[System] — The host has free will. However, anyone who harbors strong murderous intent toward the host is automatically marked as a target for elimination.

The answer satisfied him. He now understood his leeway. A system that chose enemies for him would've become a burden over time… after all, in this world, there are no eternal enemies, just like there are no eternal allies.

"Shop," murmured Takeshi, determined to see what would become his springboard to power.

The shop section was divided into two main categories: elixirs, which held several interesting items, such as the regeneration elixir for healing wounds, further classified into grades from 1 to 5. Naturally, grade 5 was exorbitantly priced.

There were also chakra restoration elixirs, sorted the same way. But one item caught his attention:

[Uchiha DNA Fragment]: Unlocks latent potential related to the Sharingan (effects are random)

Its cost: 2,000 merit points.

All things considered, the price wasn't exaggerated. The system shop was clearly this world's cheat code.

He then checked the skills section. It didn't pale in comparison to the elixirs. A wide range of skills was available—from basic ones like taijutsu proficiency to legendary S-rank skills like Kirin or Chidori.

Takeshi's mood lifted. The future already looked bright. A whole array of waifus to conquer, and as for enemies? If there weren't any… he could just create some.

But before fantasizing about future strength, he needed to be able to protect himself now. He finally opened the status window.

Name: Takeshi Sarutobi

Age: 15

Chakra Level: Mid-Chunin

Skills:

— Taijutsu (D Rank)

— Bojutsu (C Rank)

— Katon (B Rank)

Seeing his stats made him grimace. Right now, he was no better than a stray dog who could be beaten by anyone. His highest skill was Katon—a signature of the Sarutobi clan.

But his limited chakra made it difficult to use. He suddenly remembered Kakashi dying because of a single nail… due to chakra exhaustion.

"Damn…"

All he had left was bojutsu and taijutsu. Against powerful enemies, he wouldn't even have time to reach for his staff before getting sent to the afterlife.

"What the hell did this bastard do to only have C-rank bojutsu?"

A headache started to creep in. He needed a solution fast. Suddenly, a system notification pulled him from his thoughts.

[System] — Host has received starter gift: Supreme Avatar.

"Supreme Avatar…!" Takeshi repeated. "What's that?"

[Supreme Avatar]:

The Supreme Avatar Body is an evolving and adaptive physical structure designed to transcend human limitations—even those of the most powerful shinobi clans. A fusion of spiritual, physical, and natural energies, this body reacts to emotions, combat, and lived experiences, constantly adapting to achieve martial, sensory, and energetic perfection.

It is a rare form of existence, akin to the myths surrounding the first chakra sages.

[System] — Does the host wish to activate the Supreme Avatar?

After quickly reading the description, the young ninja's heart skipped a beat. At this level, if he didn't have the shinobi world kneeling at his feet in a few years, then he wasn't worth more than a pig.

"Yes. Activate it."

[System] — Command received. Activating the Supreme Avatar Body.

A wave of heat surged from his spine, like an ancient fire long forgotten had just been rekindled in his core. He staggered. His muscles clenched on their own, his lungs filled with burning, pure air, and a pale light spread beneath his skin.

"What… is this…?!"

His heart pounded—far too hard. Every beat seemed to shake the room. Golden lines, like veins of light, traced across his chest, arms, and neck. His chakra surged uncontrollably, like a tide that had long been held back by a fragile dam.

Suddenly, he could hear the dew dripping onto leaves outside.

He could see through the darkness as if it were broad daylight.

And his skin… every breeze felt like a divine caress.

Then the system spoke again, its voice deeper, almost solemn:

"Activation complete."
