Sypnosis

Hidden deeply within an uncharted island far from other continents, a massive facility sprawled underground. It's structure boasted an advanced technological era and heavy infrastructure.

Within it's confines were countless children below the age of 15. These children seemed normal except that they were anything but normal.

...

Kuramoto. sat down quietly at his corner as he watched the other kids do their business. Feeling quite bored, he walked up to a young girl and crouched before her, his green eyes shining ominously.

The girl visibly flinched as she immediately lowered her gaze.

'Fear'

Seeing her reaction, he deduced how she was feeling before softly stroking her hair, feeling as her body shuddered under his touch.

Unknown to them, two adults watched them from the monitor, their sharp eyes fixated on the particular screen showing Kuramoto and the girl.

"This year's production is superb, we were able to create 6 masterpieces." A white haired man said proudly. "No 1 on the list is Kuramoto Daisuke. He shows quite a bit of empathy towards his mates but is very cruel when needed. He's also the smartest."

The other man beside him nodded in approval.

"No 2" The white haired man said as he switched to a red haired girl with black eyes covered in dried blood. "That's Anna Lemon. She is quite psychotic and loves the act of killing her preys slowly. Also she loves being covered in blood. Though she looks mentally unstable, she is very sane and would always make the most rational decision.

Next is No 3, Lydia Thornheart. She's a very kind soul to everyone but this kindness is lethal as she gives her enemies a sweet and painless death. I have never seen her getting angry once.

No 4 is Blake German. A boy with enough arrogance to pierce through the heavens. He possesses a very poor outlook on life therefore sees it in a dimension we can't understand.

No 5 is Norman Whales. Although quite eccentric, he's infinitely cunning and I have sometimes found myself playing into his plans.

And the last is John Wang. He's a psychopath with a barely sane mind and yet still has shown a firm will for over three years now."

Taking a deep breath, he turned to face the man beside him, waiting for a response.

"While I'm impressed, I must say that it's lackluster compared to what I've found. Not created but found" Mr Ramon said plainly.

"What? Found and not created?" Mr Najeeb looked shocked, his aged eyes widening.

"Yes, Kaiser!" Ramon called and a kid around the age of 14 stepped into the control room, donning a black hoodie and trousers with a black facemask.

His black eyes settled on Najeeb, making him feel cold as the gaze seemed to peel off his existence layer by layer.

"He was found at the age of 12 in the Northern domains. Apparently, when we found him, he was the puppeteer behind the leader of the best gang in the domain. Although we tried subduing him with force, he had enough chess pieces to cause us a very heavy headache. So we entered an agreement with him, he allows us to study him while he expands his information research through us. And most surprising is that he's deaf."

Ramon took a deep breath, feeling a bitter sense of jealousy and worry as his senses kept telling him he was being manipulated. Subtly.

"Kills?" He asked.

"I can't say I know but it's more than I can count." Ramon replied.

Najeeb crouched down to Kaiser's level and ruffled his hair with a smile.

"I'd advise you not to look at me as a kid. Your pathetic effort to hide your greed and Jealousy makes me sick." Despite saying that, Kaiser's voice was monotone without any emotions at all.

Najeeb's expression stiffened as his eyes narrowed slightly before a cunning smile came on his face.

"Okay, that is a poor allegation on me, right Ramon?" He said as he turned to his friend only to find the latter looking at him solemnly.

"You believe him?" He asked in disbelief.

"Kaiser has never been wrong in his observation. Please do remember that while we compare results, we do not interfere with each other's projects." Ramon warned.

"Haha, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. HAHA." Najeeb burst into a fit of maniacal laughter as he grinned evily. "This is very interesting. Although I would have loved to keep it that way, you've brought me something more valuable than the treaty so forgive me, Old Friend"

"Are you really going to break your promise, Old Geezer?" Ramon asked with slight disbelief in his voice.

By now, the tension in the room had thickened enough to be palpable.

"If necessary."

With those words, the two Transcendent humans clashed without delay, causing the sturdy infrastructure to groan under their might.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Clang!

Shiiing!

Boom!

Sounds almost like thunderclap resounded for minutes as the facility was now reduced to a burning mess. Scattered remains of bodies were sprawled around the ground.

But soon, doubt crept into Najeeb's mind as his senses kept telling him he was dancing along with someone's schemes. Then his mind replayed Kaiser's deliberate statement. His eyes widened.

By the time his mind became clear, he realized he had just destroyed his own creation within a matter of minutes.

'I was played!'

Anger and killing intent flooded his mind as he looked towards the top of a mountain where Kaiser was watching their fight calmly.

"To hell with you!" Feeling a sense of fear and despair, He roared and launched one desperate attack at the boy only to be blocked by Ramon.

"I see you still don't want to back down!" Ramon roared angrily as he winced in pain.

"Fool, HAHAHAHA, We were both played and you still fail to see it. I was controlled by my greed while you were controlled by your so called righteousness. That kid is really good. I can literarily see the world crumbling from his hands. HAHAHA." Najeeb laughed back like he had lost his mind, his eyes turning hollow.

"Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!" Shouting like a madman, he launched attack after attack without caring for the cost and strain on his essence.

Ramon's eyes widened in disbelief but he decided to leave that for later as he had to stop his friend.

Finally, after what felt like hours, a huge explosion detonated from the valley, sending a rush of heat up the mountain Kaiser was standing. His face was illuminated by the brightness of the flames as the wind blew harshly against him yet he stood still like a rock unmoved by waves.

Turning to the east, he gazed at a distant ship which was leaving the island while carrying a few kids that had survived.

'I hope we meet again, Kuramoto'

After waiting for the flames to settle a bit, he climbed down into the charred ruins the battlefield had become. Molten metal littered the floor like lava and a few bodies still remained surprisingly intact. Anytime he passed by a child's body, he would close their open eyes and mouth a short prayer.

Finally, he reached the core of the explosion and found Mr Ramon's body resting on a rock with a human sized pole lodged in the right side of his torso.

After assessing him, he realized that the man had no chance at survival with his right lung crushed alongside countless organs.

Crouching to the man's level, he wiped the blood from his face and spoke gently.

"Although I don't feel remorse from using you, I'd grant your wish and destroy the Hawkins Family."

Ramon's only open eye twitched, a sign of surprise and... relief? before his body slumped, dead.

Standing up, Kaiser put up his facemask and walked back to the port.

'If I calculate my gains and losses, I'd say this was a bad but necessary move since I lost two potential factions and gained my freedom. Oh freedom, freedom, freedom. Although I did gain a lot from watching their fight too'

His small yet imposing back soon faded into the distance, leaving behind a history known by few.
