That morning, Harry woke up when he heard sounds of chatter and clanking of hammers. He stood up to see that the sun was about to rise in a few minutes. Feeling energized, he made his way down the rock to see that mostly adults had started waking up in the tribe.
Some of them were grabbing their spears and bows, looking as if they were going to a war. He realized that maybe they were the hunting party and remembered that he was supposed to be part of it.
"For Lord Leh's sake!" Harry turned around to see Oron coming towards him. "Where the hell were you?"
Harry quickly added as Oron came to him, "I was sleeping by the forge."
Oron looked confused. "Up there? Why?"
He just shrugged. "I felt like seeing stars up close."
Oron looked at him as if he had said something very absurd. "….Okay," Oron said, "Then why dont you go and get your gear from the forge and ask the Elder Joron?" Oron was referring to a middle-aged man that he met yesterday. "And bring either a spear or bow and arrows, whichever you fancy."
Harry added quickly, "I never used either one before.. What should I bring?"
"Dosent matter," Oron said, "You will learn soon enough which you fancy." With that, Oron left.
While going up the rock, Harry thought about which weapon should be best for him. In his previous life, he wielder various pistols and rifles. As as blunt weapon are concerned, he only wielded a throwing knife which he was pretty good at using.
When he got up, it didnt take him long to find Elder Joron. The man was in one of the forge huts. That particular hut was larger than his family's hut. There was this slave who was hammering some metal, and elder Joron was standing beside the blacksmith, overseeing the whole process. While there was another slave, a woman, standing at the other side of the flame, pushing air in the furnace, increasing the flame's intensity.
Harry cleared his throat, and Joron finally looked at him. "Ah, Adui… I was thinking when you will arive my boy. Wait a moment.. I will be with you shortly."
Harry didnt understand the process of blacksmithing, nor was he interested in it. He stood there, patiently waiting, when he started looking around. There were pieces of metal lying around, some of which would be shaped into weapons. After looking at every tit-bits lying around, he went on and scanned all the people in the room, just cause he had the time.
It didnt come as a surprise to him that Elder Joron was a Vita wielder. Based on his scans, he would say that, based on volume, he and Groga would have equivalent Vita Volume. What surprised him was the woman in the corner. She had black hair and pale but dirty skin. He could not see her face, as most of her tangled hair covered it. From her body, she looked quite young, maybe in her late teens.
She didnt have any Vita. He was sure of it. But he did notice that behind her belly button, there was an organ just like him. Except for him, she was the only person who possessed the organ that he had. But her organ was different. It was more like a sphere that had been broken in half. As she was practically naked, he also spotted the small stabbing wound around the area.
Further, he noticed that she had wounds all over her body. Some were stabbing wounds, some were burn marks.
"Fancying that woman?" Harry looked to his right and saw Joron smiling at him.
He slowly shook his head. Before he could clarify, Joron slapped his back, "It is nice to be young," then the old man winked at him, "That girl right there, she is special. If you perform well in the hunting party, I might give you a chance to taste her first. I promise,"
Harry wanted to kill the man here and there. But the thing was, he was interested in the woman. Not for her body, but her organs. She might hold some answers that he was looking for, which was why he was looking forward to meeting her in private.

Harry was confused, as he was standing with a bow and his arrows in front of the Latrine pits of the tribe. There was this trench, above which there was a platform made of wood. There was a hole in the platform through which everyone in the tribe did their business. What he could not understand was why he was there.
Karina, a part of the hunting party, and another fellow Vita Wielder was with him. According to her, before he started his training, they needed to visit the place.
"Why are we here exactly?" he asked.
Karina smirked, "It is show you how Lord Leh's blessing works."
"Eh?" That was the only sound that Harry could make.
"You see the poop, and then smell, and children like you dont even….." Karina then started her long lecture about how children were incompetent. And then she somehow found her way to teaching him the ways of Lord Leh.
It was only when her long rant was over that she got to the point. She told him that the poop from the pits was cleared every new moon, which is around a month. And then the poop is gathered in a very huge pit around a kilometer from the tribe. She showed him the pit, and more importantly, she showed him how this pit was very important.
The shit pit were small worms like creature swirming, semmingly feasting on their feces. Karina told him that these worms were important to the hunters, as their blood acts as the blessing of Lord Leh. The blood of those worms acts like a paralyzing agent. This agent is then used to hunt.
Hunters dip their spears and arrows into the blood, which in turn immobilizes their prey in about a minute or so after a deep stab. The meat of the prey is considered okay to eat, as either these people have gained immunity towards it or the agent gets destroyed by cooking the meat in fire. Harry figured the first option would be highly likely to be the case.
It is only after a long lecture about the shit pit did Karina finally move onto the part that Harry was eagarly waiting for. As it was now time to hunt…
