Chapter 20 - Challenge

Inside the Legacy camp, a tense silence filled the air as Wick strode in with unwavering confidence. His eyes locked onto Roy, and without hesitation, he called out, his voice laced with challenge.

"Hey, Roy. Why the hell are you hiding behind Priyanshu?"

A murmur rippled through the Legacy members as Roy's expression darkened. He stepped forward, his gaze burning with fury. "What did you just say?" he growled. "Are you saying you want to fight me?"

Wick smirked, his stance relaxed yet taunting. "That's exactly what I'm saying. Face me right now, or admit you're nothing but a coward hiding behind your fighters."

Before Roy could respond, Jai chuckled and stepped between them, shaking his head in amusement. "Oh, Wick," he said mockingly. "That's a pretty weak mind game. We all know you had no intel on Priyanshu's techniques, and that's why you're trying to bait Roy into a fight."

Wick scoffed, rolling his shoulders. "Who said I'm afraid of either of you?" He turned his gaze between them, his voice growing sharper. "Let me make this crystal clear—I'll take on both of you. One after another. And if I lose, I'll pull out of every tournament."

The challenge sent a shockwave through the camp. Whispers erupted among the Legacy members, eyes darting between Wick, Roy, and Jai.

Roy's fists clenched, his knuckles turning white. "You better watch your mouth, Wick. Take a good look at where you're standing before you start making demands."

Wick let out a low, mocking laugh. "Oh, my bad," he said, feigning innocence. "I must've accidentally stepped on your tail, you oversized bull."

Jai's smirk faltered for a second before he folded his arms. "But Roy's not even in your weight category, Wick."

Wick met his gaze without hesitation. "I'll manage. Now, are we fighting or not?"

Roy's lips curled into a menacing grin. "You'll regret this."

In the present moment, tension hung thick in the air. Nick was furious at Wick's impulsive challenge, his fists clenched. But then, as if understanding something deeper, he exhaled sharply and smirked.

"Brother, hurry up and conquer," he said, his voice steady but urgent. "We still have to go find her."

But everyone knew—defeating Roy wouldn't be easy.

Wick stretched his neck, rolling his shoulders as he spoke with unwavering confidence. "Just give me two minutes."

With that, he stepped forward to face Roy.

Roy's eyes burned with fury as he watched Wick approach. Before Wick could say a word, he smirked and provoked, "What's wrong, Roy? You seemed a lot braver a moment ago. Still feeling tough?"

Enraged, Roy lunged at him, swinging with sheer force. But Wick was quick—effortlessly sidestepping each attack, weaving through Roy's strikes like a shadow. For minutes, he continued to dodge, frustrating Roy with every failed attempt to land a hit.

Then, in a sudden burst of movement, Wick launched a powerful kick straight into Roy's chest. The impact was solid, but Roy barely flinched.

Vivek, watching from the sidelines, shook his head. "This isn't going to be easy. Wick's already exhausted from fighting Priyanshu."

But Nick, ever perceptive, smirked. "That kick wasn't for a knockout—it was to slow him down."

As if on cue, Wick's entire stance shifted. His eyes sharpened, his breathing controlled. He saw Roy charging at him again—this time, Wick didn't dodge. Instead, he met Roy head-on, unleashing a relentless flurry of kicks. Each strike landed with precision, forcing Roy back, disorienting him with sheer speed and accuracy.

And then, with a final, devastating move, Wick delivered his finishing blow—a strike so swift and calculated that Roy had no chance to react.

The crowd gasped as Roy's body hit the ground. Silence followed.

Wick had defeated Roy in just 180 second...

"Damn 3 minutes"!

As Wick prepared to leave, he turned to Dipanshu. "Take care of everything while I'm gone."

Dipanshu gave a firm nod. "Got it."

With that, Wick, Nick, and Lalit set off, determined to find Shristi.

Meanwhile, Bhumi, Vaibhav, and Annu were on their way back after an outing when they were suddenly ambushed.

Vaibhav reacted instinctively, stepping forward to fight off the attackers. He threw punch after punch, but the numbers were against him. He struggled to hold them off as more assailants closed in.

Annu's eyes widened in concern. "Wick and Nick are both out of town right now!" she exclaimed.

Vaibhav gritted his teeth, realizing he couldn't handle them all alone. Just as he began to falter, Bhumi stepped forward. Without hesitation, she launched into the fight, taking down the attackers with swift, precise movements. Within moments, the tables had turned—Bhumi singlehandedly dismantled the group, leaving them groaning on the ground.

Vaibhav stared at her in disbelief. "How the hell did you do that?"

Annu, equally shocked, turned to Bhumi. "Yeah, since when did you become this good?"

Bhumi dusted off her hands and smirked. "My brother trained me. That's why I hate him."

Vaibhav and Annu exchanged looks, their expressions practically saying, Seriously? You hate him because he trained you?

Bhumi crossed her arms. "Yes," she said with a playful glare. "He made me wake up at dawn every morning to work out for an entire month."

A slow clap broke the moment. Dipanshu stepped out from the shadows, smirking. "Well, well. I didn't expect you to be this good. But then again, since that maniac trained you, I shouldn't have expected anything less."

Bhumi raised an eyebrow. "You were watching?"

Dipanshu nodded. "Wick told me not to interfere unless things got really bad. He wanted to see if you still remembered your defense techniques. And I have to say—you were awesome."

Bhumi rolled her eyes. "Typical Wick. Always testing."

Vaibhav chuckled. "Remind me never to mess with you."

Annu shook her head in amusement. "Yeah, seriously. Wick's training might be annoying, but damn, it works."
