Naila left Edna's home very early. She was sent the address through mail and had to be present before eight o'clock a.m.
She took a taxi and showed the address to the driver and he kick-started the vehicle to drive her there.
But after a few minutes, she received another message from the same person who sent her the address [ The destination had changed. Come to 'The Good Dinner'. NOW.]
She was confused by the message but eventually asked the driver " excuse me, please do you know a place here called the good dinner?". When he nodded, she said "The destination has changed. Can you bring me there?". He nodded again and she "thanks".
The taxi stopped in front of the dinner and Naila climbed off. She stood there, not daring to enter " With whom will I sign a contract here? This definitely has no sense" She mumbled to herself, checking again the mail sent to her to see whether there was any mistake.
After confirming that it was the right place, she entered. The moment she stepped inside, she felt gazes diverted to her as if they were about to bounce on her. The only humans in there were the employees. She was a hunter so it was normal for her to distinguish between humans and other creatures.
She scanned the whole place and saw nothing out of place apart from the stares she received.
The person with whom she had to sign a contract was definitely not there ' maybe I should wait. But what if all this was just a trap? Maybe I have been blackmailed.' her hunter's instinct awoke and she became wary.
' But who knows me here? Maybe they just want to get breakfast before going to work.' she thought.
She finally decided to wait for a few minutes and see if someone might come. It was already eight o'clock when she sat at the last booth and patiently waited, without ordering anything. If someone doesn't come she will go to her original destination.
Thirty minutes later.....
Naila received an email from that same number saying [ You are late. If you don't come before nine o'clock you can forget the contract]. She was surprised by the new message.
Naila abruptly stood from her chair and made her way to the dinner's exit door. She was going to the original address sent through mail. She was now certain all that was a trap. She had been fooled by someone.
She was in a haste but maintained her composure. She held the doorknob and pushed the door open violently and stepped out, unaware that someone stood on the other side .
She bumped into that person and almost fell but felt someone arm wrapped around her tiny waist.
The first thing she saw next were a pair of blue eyes and felt someone's hot breath directly on her face and that was when she realized that she was in a man's and arm his face was just a few centimeters away from hers.
She suddenly pushed him away with both hands. She now clearly saw his face. He was handsome and had red hair and blue eyes. He wore a suit with the two upper buttons opened and black tie which was slightly loosen.
" You should look forward before walking" he said. She opened her mouth to excuse herself but what he said made her swallow her words "instead of you to thank me for preventing you from falling, you are pushing me. Do you know how many even dream about getting my attention" he was being arrogant and that annoyed her the most.
"I've never asked you to hold me. You could just let me fall if that was to later be rude." He had managed to piss her off with his cheeky comment.
The man was surprised by what she said but just smiled .
Naila, more annoyed by his smile said " excuse me but I have somewhere to be" . She moved away and left.
She stopped a taxi and climbed in, leaving the man smiling but now, something like mischief could be seen in his eyes.
" What an interesting assistant." He mumbled to himself, running his long fingers through his hair.
