Liu and Zao runs off from the sun-kissed forces whilst their drones chase them. Their main goal is to protect the chip from getting taken from the Sun-kissed forces. They run for 15 minutes and try to take refugee in other people's homes, but to their disappointment, no one pays a heed and ultimately they seek refugee under a small, unused bridge.
Seconds later the drones find them and cage them in holographic cages to take them away. "Atleast the chip is fine" Liu says.
The Lurexian republic is one hellhole of a nation. The government turned 2 entire planets into "living" environments for people to live. Lurexian government uses external military forces for the nations safety. But to think, how did the nation become such a bad place ?
Liu Kang and Nexen Zao are taken inside the S.K.S (Sun-kissed soldiers) container fleet. Upon entering, they find thousands if not hundreds of children, caged or not caged. It is then they realise where they are being taken to.
The Gladiator Dome. Criminal underground brawlling planet where childrens, adults and beasts are forced to fight each other whilst the rich bet on who would win. Liu and Nexen don't know shit about fighting let alone fight the top gladiators. They are upset and stressed about it and they need to figure a way out of this.
They sit down at a corner and stay silent for a while. Nexen breaks the silence and asks Liu how he got the chip. "I got it from the Lurexian black market, a hexamonium sold it to me saying I'm the chosen one and that I need to know the truth" Liu says. Nexen laughs about and says "You? The chosen one? What are you Paul Atreidas? You do realise that Hexamoniums are a phony right ?".
"Well atleast recently. They weren't phonies in the past though right?"
Hexamoniums are a species of humanoid race who are often called the "Fortune tellers" for their future seeing abilities. Most Hexamoniums wear a purple robe often covering their faces for cultural reasons. They are often tall, has pale white skin, totally black pupils and long hairs. Between the age Neo-8500 and Neo-8700, most Hexamoniums talked about "His returning" and "The end of the world". Governments of many nations found it unappealing to their "agenda" and labelled all Hexamoniums as "phonies".
"Well, what about you? Why were you in the terminal?" Liu asks. To which Nexen replies "Look at me, who do you think I am? I am a C.E.H, if I'm not finding about the secrets of the world then who will?".
Cybertically Enhanced Humans, or C.E.H are a species of humans who were cybernetically enhanced during the Renaissance of Neo-4000, most C.E.H are useless nowadays due to the use of AI and sentient robots.
"Well, I never asked what your race is"
"I am just a human" "HUH!!!??" Nexen, clearly perplexed, asks him "You don't look human at all! You eyes are fiery coloured" "Are fiery eyes impossible on humans ?" Liu replies. "I didn't mean to say that, I'm just confused. You have features of other races. Are both your parents humans ?" "My mother is a human, and I do not know what my father is. He left us when mother was pregnant. My mother never told me what my father was". Nexen apologises to Liu to which Liu thanks him.
The gladiators dome is pretty far away from Lurexia. And between Lurexia and the gladiators dome, lies several other planets. Can these two puny teenages survive the dome ? Or will they succumb to the jaws of hungry beasts and such?
