Spheres twirled around Markus like shooting stars streaking through a midnight sky as he stepped into a mesmerizing landscape of gray, rocky terrain. Eerie plants with grotesque, whipping tentacles towered around him, their twisted forms adding an unsettling beauty to the scene. Among them loomed a colossal mother plant, its dagger-like teeth glinting ominously in the dim light. The leaves and petals of these strange flora were adorned with intricate patterns of blue, white, and purple, swirling together like a living kaleidoscope, enchanting yet foreboding.
"What is this?" Markus exclaimed, his voice filled with awe and terror, as a massive snake its body adorned with white, spiky scales erupted from the earth. With a swift motion, its elongated fangs latched onto a horrific creature that defied all logic. This Eldritch Horror had a robust body reminiscent of a bear, yet its limbs exuded the grace and agility of a wolf. Seven fox-like tails swirled behind it, their tips flickering like flames. Most unsettling was its face, which bore an uncanny resemblance to gnarled tree bark, shaped into a shield adorned with twisted branches that jutted aggressively from the crown, creating a ghastly semblance of a crown of thorns.
The Eldridge horror grabbed the snake in its mouth and threw it into the surrounding trees. Then, it charged a sphere of unstable energy that looked like glowing blue lava before firing it, causing a terrifying explosion.
Nova in his full dragon form appeared beside Markus " this is my home, the realm of lunaria, otherwise known as terras moon"
Markus looked at Nova his face covered in shock his mind Mesmerize with the thoughts of being on the moon.
Nova began explaining the entire situation surrounding the black rave . He said, "This is where both the black rave and I come from. Centuries ago, I was the alpha of Lunaria. I defeated every single monster in this realm; I was the strongest, and no one could stand against me. I kept the predators in check and maintained the balance of the ecosystem until a creature that called itself Calamity appeared. It was more like a natural disaster than a typical monster. It killed half the monsters in my realm, and it almost killed me as well. I barely escaped our last fight by running through a portal that led to this planet. A few other monsters managed to escape the moon through that portal as well. I don't know what compelled them to follow me. The other monsters that arrived with me were all subjugated to me; I protected them, and they followed my orders. The black rave was one of these monsters, but it went rogue when we made deals with the humans. It began to see them as a better food source than allies, so it lashed out, trying to take my place. I defeated it, but it managed to get away."
Markus observed intently as the events unfold infront of him . Before him stood the Calamity, a towering monster that reached a height of eight feet, its physique grotesquely humanoid yet undeniably bestial. The creature's legs were deformed, resembling those of a wolf, powerful and muscular, allowing it to maneuver with unexpected agility. Long, lanky arms hung at its sides, adding to its unnerving silhouette.
Its neck stretched longer than that of an average human, creating a disconcerting appearance that seemed to emphasize its predatory nature. The armor encasing its body shimmered with a deep purple glow, suffusing the air with an eerie luminescence. From the back of its menacing helmet spilled vibrant, flowing hair that danced like flames in the wind, contrasting sharply with the drab metal of its armor. The creature's tail, resembling a heavy ball and chain, swung ominously, each movement echoing a promise of destruction.
The Calamity lunged at Nova, seizing him and driving his head deep into the earth. It unleashed a white flame so powerful that it effortlessly overpowered Nova's explosive feathers, pushing back the force of the blast.
The Calamity continued its assault by firing balls of black energy in rapid succession, closing in on Nova. When one got close enough, it grabbed Nova by the tail and flung him into a nearby mountain.
Nova retaliated by releasing a barrage of feathers aimed at the Calamity. However, before they could explode, the Calamity maneuvered through the feathers and grasped Nova's wing, throwing him across the mountain range, where he landed on the opposite side.
Without wasting a moment, Nova took off running. He scattered feathers around him, causing explosions that kicked up large clouds of dust, which he used as cover to escape. Eventually, he found a cave where he decided to rest. Deep within the cave, he discovered a portal leading to Terra (Earth).
Upon reaching the other side, Nova recognized that the monsters there were significantly weaker compared to him. He rested by the portal, and not long after, 24 other beasts emerged from the portal over a span of two weeks, all wounded and desperate. Nova healed each of them, helping them out of their pitiful state and sending them on their way, but they all clung to him like strays to a new master.
The thought of taking care of his followers filled Nova with a sense of pride, restoring the confidence he once had when he was the alpha. He commanded them with a stern and powerful voice, giving instructions on when to hunt, how much to hunt, and what to hunt.
As he grew accustomed to the Realm of Terra, Nova began making deals with other monsters from different realms, expanding their army. Eventually, he started forming alliances with humans. Not only were they useful, but he also grew attached to a human family that cared for him after he was injured during a particularly dangerous hunt.
Though he didn't need their help, their concern for him and willingness to assist fostered a sense of care that he wasn't used to experiencing. The family consisted of tamers who were skilled at handling larger beasts.
The black rave saw his growing attached and took that as a sign of weaken causing it to attack the family wiping them out. This enraged Nova causing him to clash with the rave .
