So I died and here I am sitting in a cell waiting for my captors to take me for more experiments to be conducted.
I remember my entrance into this new world like it was yesterday despite it having occured almost 7 months ago.

"W-what, where am I?" The random glowing soul questioned as he looked around the white expanse of nothing.
Despite how bright the white was all around, the soul wasn't affected by the bright light, he wasn't sure if it was just the fact that he didn't have a physical body or something else, though he could feel somewhat connected to the light he saw around him.
"Hello young man!" A loud voice spoke as the soul turned around to look in the direction of the voice.
As he turned around, to say he was shocked was an understatement.
"Raiden?" The soul questioned causing the being in the form of Raiden to laugh.
Sure enough, the source of the voice is a very large being in the form of Raiden from the old Mortal Kombat Movie.
(Image here)
When the term large is used to describe the being, it doesn't do it justice. It is so big that even a planet would look like a small bowling ball to it. (Think like the size of Arishem the Celestial)
Suddenly the being had shrunk down until he was simply two meters tall or a little over 6 feet tall and began to speak.
"Yes I have taken this form as my true form is not something a normal being would be able to comprehend. Now I am sure you are wondering why you are here?" The being that is in Raiden's form asked.
"Yeah.... I'm guessing I died?" The soul asked after pausing to think for a few moments after it's first words.
"To be more accurate, I facilitated your death as I needed a soul who could take over an important position for me." Raiden explained.
"You had me killed?!?" The soul asked.
The soul didn't seemed to be angry, merely shocked and confused.
"Yes. You are not mad?" Raiden asked amused.
"Well, I will miss my family, but if I am being honest, I have wished for something like this to not only be possible, but actually happen to me for a long time. I lived a drastically unremarkable life and over the years I had simply wanted to just escape the world and hope my death would be more remarkable.
I am confused though. Why would someone like me be chosen, you already know that I am an unremarkable person." The soul questioned.
"You are, that is exactly the reason you were chosen." Raiden said with a mischievous grin.
"That doesn't make any Sense, why would that make me be chosen?" The soul questioned.
"Simple. Throughout my entire existence, I have never come across any type of being that could do the jobs I'm looking for than those who hate a normal life and have always wanted an extraordinary life. They would fair much better than those who had a very fulfilling life.
The beings who led a fulfilling life, when granted the opportunity to live again and be gifted with extraordinary power, they either took it for granted, or simply didn't care to do the job as they didn't ever feel like something was missing from their life." Raiden explained.
The soul seemed to absorb what Raiden had said and nodded in understanding but, before Raiden could say more, the soul stopped him.
"Say no more, I'm in." The soul said happily with the largest smile it had ever had in its entire life.
"Are you sure? I can't promise that your life will be easy, nor can I promise that you will find a purpose outside of the job I will give you." Raiden asked.
"It's fine. This exact sort of situation, I have dreamed of happening to me, so no matter what I have to do to be given this opportunity, I will do it." The soul explained.
"Very well. I shall explain what your future situation will be." Raiden said with a smile as he saw the soul nod happily.
"So the job that I will be giving you isn't as straight forward as it may seem, I will be making you the host of the Lightforce in another universe, specifically the Marvel Universe." Raiden explained.
"Lightforce? As in Tandy Bowen or Dagger from Cloak & Dagger?" The soul asked.
"Pretty much. Although where Tandy was able to manipulate the lightforce, you will embody it and you would be at minimum 10 times stronger than she ever could be. All you would be required to do as the host of the Lightforce, would be to make your new universe better than it was before you got there." Raiden said.
The soul was overjoyed with the news that he would be getting that power.
Being able to manipulate the Lightforce makes the user essentially a Green Lantern, but in Marvel as they can do pretty much the same things.
As the soul was thinking about these things, he felt he should request some things.
"Okay, let me preface my later words with saying that I 100% accept the job, but I'd like to request some changes to the power if that's allowed." The soul asked.
Raiden seemed to look down and pause in thought for a moment. He looked up after about a minute as he seemed to have come to a decision.
"I am willing to accommodate your requests depending on what they are. Raiden said.
"Okay. So my first request is that you remove the weakness of me needing to use my powers often or I'd get sick." The soul said.
"Oh, that wouldn't be an issue anyways as your powers are not exactly the same as that of Tandy as you are the embodiment of the Lightforce. That also means that you won't be drawn to the user of Darkforce, especially since no such force would exist in this universe." Raiden explained.
"Oh that's great. So when will I go to my new world and what kind of life would I have?" The soul asked.
"I am sorry to say, I won't be able to choose how your life goes in your new world, nor will I be able to affect it so you can have an easier life. It all comes down to luck.
The only thing I can do is ensure that you will have your memories of your body from the moment it was "born" to the moment the rest of your soul will actually inhabit it. I will have created the body for you, but you will still be born the normal way, I will just be influencing how you will look."
"Rest of my soul? What do you mean the rest of my soul?" The soul asked.
"After you agreed to take the position as the host of the Lightforce, I had already created your body and transfered 80% of your soul inside it. By the time the last 20%, that is still here, inhabits your body, 19 years will have already passed for the rest of your body and soul.
When you merge with the rest, you will have the memories of this meeting, your memories from your last life, and the full knowledge of what your powers are." Raiden explained.
"I see. So my body and the portion of my soul will essentially have been on autopilot up until this point?" The soul asked.
"Yes. Now be prepared, because the merging will be excruciatingly painful, as will the inclusion of all your memories into your new body." Raiden said.
"I'm ready." The soul replied resolutely.

"AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" a blood curdling scream had accompanied the pain as the soul had now fully merged with it's new body.
