Chapter 6 : vessel of the void

In the depths of a secluded cave within the Kingdom of Falmuth, a group of human mages gathered, their chants echoing ominously. Their goal: to summon a being of unparalleled power to aid in their rebellion against the reigning monarch. As their incantations reached a crescendo, a rift tore open, and from it emerged Sung Jin Woo, the Shadow Monarch.

The world dissolved into fractal swirls of violet and obsidian as the final words of the summoning ritual fell into silence. Sung Jin Woo materialized on the slick stone floor of a vast subterranean chamber, its ceiling lost in shadow and its walls etched with glowing runes of binding. A circle of seven hooded mages stood in a perfect seal, their staffs crackling as they attempted to dominate the Shadow Monarch himself.

Confused and disoriented, Jin Woo surveyed his surroundings. The mages, unaware of the true nature of the entity they had summoned, attempted to bind him using ancient spells. However, a system notification flashed before Jin-Woo's

<< [Mind Control Attempt Detected Resistance Successful]>>

Jin Woo's eyes snapped open—obsidian pupils burning with contained tempest. He felt the weight of their will pressing against his mind, tendrils of sorcery seeking to twist his thoughts.

The barrier of his psyche flared with unbreakable tenacity, and the mages recoiled as their commands shattered against his will. A low hum of power thrummed through the chamber as Jin

Woo' s shadows unfurled in a storm of living darkness , tendrils writhing like vipers.

No more words needed.

With a primal roar, Jin Woo blasted forward. His obsidian daggers ignited in a corona of shadow each blade trailing streaks of inky night. The first mage barely raised her staff before a dagger severed its crystal head; violet light flickered and died. The second mage, chanting flames into existence, screamed as a swipe of Jin‑Woo's second dagger reduced her inferno to flickering embers.

Infernal Shard flared to life in his right hand three searing shards of condensed flames. He hurled them in a sweeping arc. The shards carved through the mystic seal on the floor, rupturing the glowing runes in sparks of silver light, and detonated upon the third mage' s chest, sending him sprawling backward, his body collapsing into smoldering ash.

The chamber' s storm of magic howled as Jin Woo vaulted into the air, dagger blades spinning in a deadly helix. He twisted mid flight and unleashed Hakai laced Slice a surge of annihilation that carved a glowing black rift across the fourth mage's throat. The rift rippled like liquid void, consuming the fifth mage's life force in a single, horrifying instant.

Each movement was a symphony of catastrophe, woven with the precision of Parallel Calculation Jin Woo 's mind processing ten thousand variables per second. Yet beneath the thrill of combat sparkled an unfamiliar tug at his soul, like an echo from a life he 'd left behind.

Only two mages remained, their faces contorted with panic. The sixth, an arcanist, summoned a ring of spectral chains swirling with crackling violet energy. The seventh, a necromancer, coaxed skeletons from long buried bones in the floor. The chamber's damp air thickened with magic as life and death warred for supremacy.

Jin Woo planted both daggers in the stone and called forth anos' gaze. The arcanist's chains froze mid extension, then shattered in an explosion of psychedelic sparks. With a flick of his left dagger, Jin‑Woo executed Shadow step like a flicker through darkness and appeared behind the necromancer. Before the necromancer could utter another word, a precision slash of Void Rend carved a jagged crescent through his back, the rip of shadow sealing around the wound. Bone and spirit dissipated in a wisp of midnight fog.

Now only the circle's leader remained a towering figure in blood red robes, staff crowned with a glowing, malevolent eye. He raised his staff high, summoning Devine Rupture: a cascade of holy energy that bent the chamber's very geometry. The walls trembled; the floor shuddered.

Jin‑Woo narrowed his gaze, the air around him warping under the force of his will. He ignited hakai : absolute erasure the unrealized pinnacle of his Conqueror's arsenal. The void at his core flared in opposition to the Devine qRupture, two cosmic forces colliding in a moment of pure, radiant violence.

A shockwave roared outward, painting the walls with streaks of light and shadow . The leader's staff cracked and collapsed; he keeled over as his final spell dissolved into nothingness.

Silence reclaimed the cavern. Wisps of shadow drifted through fractured runes. Jin‑Woo stood alone, breath heavy in his throat, each one buzzing with raw power. He surveyed the fallen mages once flesh and blood, mangled and unrecognizable.

An unfamiliar emptiness gnawed at his chest. He knelt, touching the cold, scattered bones of the final mage. No guilt welled within him. Instead, a creeping doubt: "Was I always this merciless? Did my humanity die when I accepted the Shadow Monarch's crown?"

Lightning crackled as his shadows writhed—nearly alive with psychic resonance. Jin Woo rose, eyes distant and cold. Whatever remained of his mortal compassion trembled on a knife's edge

As he exited the shattered cave, dawn light burned through the canopy overhead, illuminating a ring of standing stones battered by time. Jin‑Woo's thoughts turned to his need for true flesh and bone in this realm. Death and shadow he already commanded yet without a body, he was but a phantom of power.

He returned to the fallen mages' remains, shadows wrapping around shattered skeletons in a macabre dance. With a guttural chant, he used Combined Cataclysm once more, but this time contained within a crucible of living void. Dark energy coalesced into a collapsing sphere that pulverized bone and steel alike—refining them into a viscous, obsidian‑black ichor.

Jin‑Woo extended his hand. The ichor flowed like liquid midnight, spiraling around him. His shadows wove into its mass, locking him at the center of an endless pit. A form took shape—tall, lithe, and impossibly graceful, yet unmistakably inhuman. His skin gleamed with an oily sheen, absorbing every mote of light. His eyes burned with an abyssal purple fire.

A final notification echoed in his mind:

<< [Secret Quest "Vessel of the Void" Complete.]

[New Title Awarded: Abyssal Sovereign.]

[You are now capable of naming your self]>>

A wave of power surged through his new body—an endless reservoir capable of absorbing magicules and nullifying attacks that dared strike its surface. Jin‑Woo flexed fingers that curved like shadow‑forged claws. He felt every whisper of potential, every flicker of destruction at his command.

For a moment, he closed his eyes, remembering warmth he could scarcely recall. Then he opened them, those abyssal orbs shining with dark promise.

Jin‑Woo: "I am no longer merely the weakest hunter nor a nameless daemon . I am the Abyssal Sovereign ,am the shadow monarch , l am sung Jin woo ."

<<[The name sung Jin woo successfuly integrated]>>

This new vessel and naming was both a testament to his power and a symbol of his detachment from his former human self.

(Hours earlier, in a elve filled bar in the kingdom of dwargon …)

Rimuru Tempest sat cross‑legged before an ancient elven seer. The old elf's crystal orb swirled with pastel lights, casting dancing patterns across Rimuru's slime form.

Q Fortune‑teller (softly):

"Within this sphere, your heart's true path emerges."

The orb stilled, revealing two silhouettes:

1. A a petite girl with the appearance of a Human girl with the exception of her two large porcelain horns protruding from her forehead.

She has long, wavy, pink hair, coupled with large deep crimson eyes under very light, barely existing eyebrows. She wore a simple pink kimono, covered by a similarly simple white robe that covered her arms in excess. She also had a thin, low-ponytail that was tied using a single small white ribbon.

Her fair skin has a slightly pink tint alongside a couple of tear-like face markings that, go along with her pink colour scheme, with the addition of two fangs that are long enough to slightly protrude out her lips to add to the "ferocious" theme of the Ogres.

2. an Ogre, who has a wild appearance with a thick black horn protruding from the center of her forehead and a small fang like tooth coming out of her mouth, the base of which had skin folded in a way where she appeared to be angry. She had large purple eyes and light purple hair tied into a ponytail, as well as a noticeably curvaceous figure with massive breasts. Her outfit consisted of a brown robe with thick woolen borders and a collar that revealed much of her cleavage. She also wore a necklace with a green stone in the center, between two white stones that looked like teeth, which in turn were also between two other green stones.

, her skin had a purple tint matching her purple color scheme, as well as a sharp tooth peeking out from the corner of her mouth.

Rimuru's goo trembled as emotions welled long‑buried yearnings for connection and understanding.

Rimuru (voice trembling):

"Two souls… bound to mine by fate?"

The seer's milky eyes shone.

Fortune‑teller:

". quite the lady killer hah ,When the time is right, your hearts will converge and the world will shift beneath your union ——."

Before she could continue another image appeared out of nowhere it was rimuru' third soul mate

3.she has long straight azure blue hair kept in twin buns with black ribbons while the rest is down her back and deep gold eyes. Her attire consists of a dark colored cheongsam with a golden dragon pattern as well as white long gloves and white thigh length boots both adorned with gold ornaments. She is could be described as having a very germanic style beauty

The image faded, leaving Rimuru surprised , alone with the echo of promise—and the warmth of hope blooming in his heart.

Back in the present, Jin‑Woo lifted his head, the morning mist swirling around his new form. He took a single step toward the ancient standing stones—toward the Jura Forest's border, where magicules swirled like living wind, a place where he would continue to get stronger.

Elsewhere, Rimuru Tempest returned to his Village, dwarven craftsmen at his side. His thoughts turned again to what he'd seen in that orb two oni destined to stand by him, along with the lady that could be described as perfect. His heartbeat, once regular only in his slime form, stuttered with excitement at the promise of love and companionship.

Rimuru (whispering):

"Soon… I will meet them. And together, we will build a brighter tomorrow."

Two powerful figures, shaped by darkness and hope alike, strode toward their fates each driven by forces that would bind their destinies in ways neither yet understood.
