Earth 7 years later, 2032.
Television in the background, "The Hell Project is currently at ninety-eight percent completion and is on schedule to be completed by October 31st. Which is in two days. This project is expected to reduce carbon emission to five percent over the next ten years and down to one in fifteen."
Nurse Bella speaks to doctor Edward nearby, "Do you believe that this will actually help the world doctor or is this one of Mistress lies to get more funding?"
"Hah. It'll be more believable if this guy wakes up than this so-called 'Hell Project' will help us. You know how Mistress is about that project." Points to Jeremiah sleeping soundly in a coma.
"I don't know doctor. Most people that get struck by lightning either die immediately or live to tell the tale, but he has been in a coma ever since he got struck by it." Nurse Bella looks at the heart monitor and EEG. "The only time his heart rate ever fluctuated was when he was first brought in."
"Yeah it is weird." Doctor Edward walks over to the monitor and looks over the information. "Oh well nothing we can do besides wait and see." Walk towards the door. "Come now we have other patients to see."
"Yes Edward." She starts to follow the doctor out of the room, but she takes one last look at the monitors before finally heading towards the door to leave.
"Edward, wait. Look!" She frantically points to the EEG as it begins to fluctuate rapidly.
"Bella call for backup in here immediately. It looks like he is is waking up!" Edward looks over to the her with hope in his eyes. "Hurry now! This is a borderline miracle."

Inside the deepest parts of Jeremiah's mind.
"Where am I? Am I alive? What's that sound outside?" Look down at his dark skinned body floating in what looks like a cloud. "Is this me? I thought I was supposed to be dead.
"Am I in heaven? No it must be hell, but hell is rumored to be on fire most of the time. So where am I?" He attempts to move in any direction before finally moving. "I really wished I learned how to swim before I died."
He slowly starts a poor attempt of a doggy paddle towards a dark shining light in the distance. "Well this seems to be my only sense of direction for now." He thinks to himself as his form only slightly get better.
As he gets closer to the light, sparks of electricity slowly begin to surround him and the so-called clouds that surround him.
"Maybe this is all just a dream and I'll wake up any second. Yeah. Let's go with that." He faintly hears thunder booming in the background. "Was that thunder?" He keeps moving closer to the light in the distance.
"These sparks are getting bigger and bigger the closer I go." Reaches his hands out to touch the spark. "They're... soft? I thought electricity and things like that were supposed to hurt." He gently plays with the sparks as the thunder gets louder and louder.
"Yeah, I could get used to this." He unconsciously forces the sparks to spin around him in more aggressive manner as if seeking attention.
He slowly turns around to realize that he has reached the light that has been shining in the area. "It's dimmer than I thought." Jeremiah touches the giant ball of light crackling with spark of lightning, but is cool to the touch.
A deep voice with the sound of thunder echoes through the area. "My child. It is time. You must awaken and help prevent ruin in your world or help it's destruction. The choice is yours, but beware. There will be those who want to help you down your path, and those against you on you path. But, find your own path my child."
Jeremiah slowly begins to absorb the giant ball of dark lightning. "Use these powers as you wish, but beware. Do not use more than you can handle, or you may not be able to handle the consequences." The voice continues to speak to him.
"Now my child. Go forth and spread the name of the storm." The voice thunders before fading away into the void like a memory as Jeremiah absorbs the ball.
"Yes, I shall use these powers for my own use." He takes both of his arms and grabs what he can of the light. "I am feeling," He shoves the entire ball of lightning into his body, "Electric!"
Jeremiah slowly begins to awaken as he faces his upcoming challenges.
