hazel freshen up and changed into a beautiful dress, she come down to the dinning hall, "have a seat, young madam". Ashley uttered, as she went to serve them dinner.
thank you I said as I sat down on the seat. "tomorrow u would be enrolled in Redcrest high". madam Yasmin's voice could be heard across the dinning hall as she spoke to hazel about her new school.
hazel was over whelmed that she broke in tears. the words escaping from her mouth, "I never thought I could experience what it's like to be schooled " hazel spoke almost like a whisper but was heard by everyone in the dining hall .
" that's over now , I will see to it that you get educated " miss Yasmin's said comforting hazel.
the rest of the evening was filled with laughter as the Brookes family chattered with their new daughter hazel. it was 7 in the morning as hazel woke up giggling from ear to ear as she remembered last night "I have to bath and prepare myself for school".
I quickly got out of bed and headed to the bathroom . I took my shower and dried myself and changed into my school uniform . I made my way down to the living, as walk past the kitchen, I noticed mum cooking . I smiled and went in to greet her.
she noticed me as I walked in. "you are all dressed up" she asked. I nodded in respond.
"quickly have breakfast before you leave" mum said as she lead me to the dining room. I took my seat beside mum .
"thank you mum" I uttered with a smile. " you are welcome sweetheart " mum said . as both eat in silence mr brookes came in to join them to have breakfast
"Good morning dad" hazel spoke as she greet her dad." how was your night " mr brookes asked "it was good" hazel replied. they all ate their food in silence .as hazel finished her food, she kissed her parent goodbye as she head for school.
the driver drove hazel to her new school . she stepped out of the car and went inside the school, she went for her first lesson.
Marriam a girl in her class walk up to her after their last teacher left the class," you are new here" the girl asked . I was preparing to leave when I heard a voice behind me. I turned to see who the voice belonged to as I replied , yes.
Marriam and I exchanged pleasantries as we talked , it felt like I have known her for ages .
she knew what I'm about to say or think . I also felt the same way about her, the feeling was so mutual that we bonded instantly. "see you " Marriam said biding goodbye
I smiled at her and I also prepared to leave .
