DEFEATED
Malcolm's face twisted in rage. "Oslo, I ordered you to take out that insolent young man! What's going on?"
Oslo's voice trembled. "Boss, something's wrong... I... I can't contact the snipers."
Malcolm's anger boiled over. "What do you mean? You planned this meticulously! How can you lose contact with them?"
Before Oslo could respond, Victor Kuznetsov's cold chuckle echoed through the air. "You think I'd walk into a trap without preparation? Old man, you underestimated me. It seems you didn't believe the rumors about my capabilities."
Malcolm's eyes widened in shock. "How... how did you discover this was a trap?"
Victor's smile was icy. "Let's just say I've done my homework. Your plan was... amateurish, at best."
Paul, Victor's assistant, chimed in, enjoying Malcolm's discomfort. "Our military-grade watch can penetrate network restrictions. We were always one step ahead."
Malcolm's face turned red with rage. "Impossible! You can't take down my men so easily!"
Victor's gaze never wavered. "Your men are no match for mine. And my backup forces have taken care of the hidden snipers and your men down the mountain ."
Malcolm's laughter was manic. "You may have won this battle, but you'll never leave this place alive!"
With a ruthless glint, he ordered the disguised killers to attack. But Victor's guards were more than a match for them. As the fight erupted, Victor remained seated, his eyes fixed on Malcolm.
Malcolm's eyes darted around, panic setting in. "I'll show you my true power!"
But before he could act, Victor's voice cut him off. "You won't be leaving anytime soon. The police will be here soon, and you'll face justice."
Malcolm's face contorted in rage. "You...!"
Victor's kick sent Malcolm crashing to the ground. As his men were subdued, Oslo was dragged out from his hiding spot.
Victor's gaze never left Malcolm. "It's over. Your plan has failed."
The sound of sirens echoed through the mountain as the police arrived, their lights illuminating the darkening sky. Victor Kuznetsov's guards stood vigilant, their eyes fixed on the captured assassins.
Malcolm, still seething with anger and fear, struggled to free himself from the guards' grip. "This isn't over! You think you've won, but you haven't! My boss will kill you, and then he'll come for me!"
Victor's expression remained calm, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I'm shaking in my boots. But until then, you'll have to face the consequences of your actions."
The police officers stormed onto the scene, their guns drawn. "Everyone, get down! Hands behind your heads!"
Malcolm's eyes darted wildly, his mind racing with desperation. "No, no, no! This can't be happening! I won't go down for this!"
As the officers approached him, Malcolm's demeanor shifted from anger to pleading. "Please, you have to listen to me! I'm being framed! This is all a setup!"
Victor's chuckle was low and menacing. "Save it for the judge, Malcolm. I'm sure he'll be fascinated by your tales of innocence."
The officers handcuffed Malcolm, reading him his rights as they dragged him away. Malcolm's eyes locked onto Victor's, filled with a mixture of hatred and fear.
"You haven't seen the last of me, Kuznetsov," Malcolm spat. "My boss will make sure I don't take the fall alone."
Victor's smile was cold and calculated. "I'm counting on it."
As the police took Malcolm away, Victor's gaze lingered on the defeated man. He knew Malcolm's fear wasn't just about facing justice, but about the mysterious boss who seemed to hold him in their grasp.
The game was far from over, and Victor was ready to play.
While he was lost in thought,Paul tapped him and said." Boss the old man just called,he said selection is next month and you haven't prepared a place for his future daughter in law. He was equally furious on the phone. He also said he has been trying your number but you refused to take his calls."
"Heh,my old man is at it again," Victor Kuznetsov said with an helpless look. "Let's go ,the sky is already darkening. You guys did a good job today. Paul, tell the HR tomorrow in the company to give everyone a bonus for their hard work."
"Yes boss ! I will see to it," Paul replied. And with that, they all went down the mountain, entered their car and sped off.
