Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: A tale of Atlas

Legendary Chronicle I — Soul Heart: The Wishing Core

"Though reborn across countless lifetimes, return to the stars of fate,

and light the sky with a forgotten courage."

In an age shrouded in mist, when the world was divided by blades and greed,

blood soaked the earth, and the wind carried the cries of nameless souls.

Kingdoms waged endless wars, seizing land, rivers, and lives —all traded for power.

Amid that darkness, a king from a small nation named Rome dared what none had before.

Under a pale gray moon, he approached Jirachi — the Wishing Star that awakens once every thousand years —and begged for a power great enough to change the world.

Jirachi granted the wish.

From the falling stardust, a shimmering core was born —Soul Heart, a hollow heart-shaped vessel, the cradle of life energy.

At first, it was a pure shell.

But over time, absorbing souls, emotions, and desires of all beings…

it grew alive, boundless.

With Soul Heart in hand, the king unified the continent.

But great power always comes with a curse.

That power consumed his heart.

From savior, he became tyrant.

The King of Rome forged a mighty empire called Atlas, spreading war in the name of peace.

From his ivory castle, he ruled over lands ablaze beneath his feet.

But fate does not let a flame burn forever.

One day, an unnamed hero rose up, leading the people in rebellion.

He wore no crown, sought no praise —only carried a belief that the world deserved light.

The continent ignited in resistance.

At last, the castle was besieged.

The hero faced the king in the golden throne room.

And then… the king used Soul Heart one final time.

He swapped souls with the hero.

A twist of fate.

When the people stormed in, they saw the hero standing —but within was the soul of the tyrant.

The body of the King of Rome — now housing the hero's soul —was imprisoned, condemned as a traitor.

Everything had gone according to his plan.

Legendary Chronicle II — The Princess and the Soulbound Pact

But truth always finds its way home.

Saria, daughter of the king — a princess with a pure heart and eyes that glimpsed the soul —heard the Soul Heart's weeping.

Through its glow, she saw the truth —of her father, the hero, and the twisted fate that bound them.

Carrying pain and love for both men —her father and the imprisoned hero —she made a choice.

She stole Soul Heart and freed the hero from the dungeon.

They ran.

But when cornered, the hero chose to sacrifice himself so she could live.

And at that moment, standing on the edge of destiny, Saria whispered a wish:

"If there is another life to come, then split your soul into five stars.

Return, and bring this fate to an end."

Soul Heart shattered, releasing its final light.

The hero's soul was divided into five parts,

each to be reborn, bearing an eternal virtue.

Saria, clutching the remnants of Soul Heart — now filled with her wish —threw herself into the abyss, to prevent the power from ever being misused again.

But fate would not let her vanish.

She did not die.

Nor did she live.

Saria became trapped between the threads of fate, a guardian of souls, waiting for the day the five stars would reunite

and fulfill the pact.

This is the origin — a legend now whispered by winds, by waves, and in torn dreams.

A thousand years later, as cities shine bright and royal power seems absolute, the souls begin to awaken.
