"Boy! Wake up!"
At those words I was woken up from my sleep, I could feel the rockiness of the carriage as it moved on the road filled rocks and potholes.
"I'm awake!"
The grogginess in my eyes faded, now I could see clearly where I was , I was in a carriage as I remembered, yet there was this nagging feeling, I wasn't supposed to be here.
"You okay boy?"
The old man sitting in front of me asked his eyes filled with concern.
"Grandpa, he just woke up give him time to adjust first"
Those words came out of the girl sitting next to the old man, she was a young girl about my age, but you could also see the maturity in her eyes.
"Aye I was just asking about the boy's well being"
The old man said as he looked at his granddaughter in embarassment.
"It's fine I'm awake"
I said as I rubbed the grogginess off of my eyes once more.
"More than anything, who are you people and where am I?"
At my words the duo looked at each with confusion.
"Aye we are the ones who should be asking you that boy"
At the old man's words I felt confused, where was I?, no more importantly who was I?.
"Grandpa's right we found lying in the middle of the road unconscious, at first we thought you were dead but, we saw you move so we brought you in"
Lying in the middle of a road unconscious, what was I doing lying in the middle of the road.
"At first seeing your clothes we thought you were a noble who had been robbed by bandits, but your clothes looked foreign to us."
He was right the clothes I was wearing looked pretty fancy compared to theirs, I looked a soldier or a noble.
"So we also confused what your identity is"
Said the granddaughter as she looked at me with curiosity.
"I also can't tell you who I am too, it seems I've lost my memories"
At those words the duo looked at me with pity as they shook their heads.
"Aye what a poor lad, tell us lad we can help you reach the next town to confirm your identity but after that we don't how to help."
At his words it felt the heavens opened, this old man was very kind and so was his granddaughter.
"You know what grandpa, didn't you say we needed a delivery man for our new business maybe we can..."
At those words I felt it that were very kind helping a stranger who had lost his memories even trying to get him a job.
"Aye Analese dear, don't expect the boy to accept that easily"
"No I would really be grateful to you folks for helping me and even trying to hire me, I would be really grateful"
I wouldn't say no to these Samaritans, they were angels sent from heaven to me who had lost his memories.
And it turned out the girl's name was Analese, I was Very thankful to them.
"You see grandpa, we don't have to spend time trying to hire people, maybe if you work for us you can also try to recover your memories too."
At those words I bowed as deep as I could ild to them.
"Aye lad there's no need to do that, my granddaughter is right, so please raise your head"
I didn't think there would be anyone kind enough to help me who had lost his memories.
Maybe I was being paranoid but at their kindness I felt my heart feel relieved and I didn't know why.
"My name is Analese and this is my grandpa Stewart you can call him old man Stewart."
At her remark I laughed a little and more relieved.
"Aye you little, atleast tell him to call me grandpa!?"
That was nice and refreshing to me, yet I couldn't get off the feeling of me missing something.
Maybe that thing was important was important to my identity but I would find out what it was later.

Then something, a voice sounded in my mind, it sounded robotic and female.
"What!? The!?"
I sprung up from the carriage startling the two people with me.
