Chapter 4: Clash of Kings
"Wang Zhi, are you trying to pick a fight with me?"
Captain John looked at the two people beside him and said angrily. Clearly, Gorbachov, a figure he had originally favored and even considered a tool to enhance his subordinates' strength, was gone, making him quite displeased.
"Hehehehe."
Wang Zhi nonchalantly picked up a Wine Bottle, took a hearty swig, and then slammed the Wine Bottle on the table with a bang. Afterward, he stretched his neck and looked down at Captain John, saying, "Captain John, it just so happens that my old bones haven't been exercised in a long time. I just don't know how many Small Fries you plan to send to quench my Sword's thirst."
As he finished speaking, his killing intent was released without reservation. However, the others in the room seemed unaffected by Wang Zhi's killing intent, continuing to eat and drink as they pleased.
"Mama, mama, it's quite lively, isn't it? Wang Zhi, I just saw Golden Lion and Whitebeard fighting fiercely outside. Are you also going to start a war with Captain John? How interesting. Why don't you consider having children with me, Wang Zhi?"
A giantess, eight meters tall, walked in, looking like a real-life Eight-Foot Lady from the Pirate world.
"Hehehehe, I think I'll pass. I don't want to end up like those unlucky ghosts, fed to your Toy Ship."
Wang Zhi laughed heartily, but his tone revealed his apprehension towards the beautiful giantess before him.
"Linlin is back. Did you get that thing?"
Rocks, sitting in the main seat, watched his Captains clash, completely unconcerned. He simply asked about the information he wanted to know.
Hearing Rocks' words, Charlotte Linlin also became noticeably serious, and said, "We attacked the fleet escorting the Celestial Dragon, but unfortunately, there were several CP0 members escorting them as well. In the end, the target escaped."
Hearing that the target had escaped, Rocks suddenly exuded a terrifying aura. Even his hair and clothes moved without wind.
Thump!
Thump!!!
The serving girls beside him all rolled their eyes back and fainted directly. As if triggering a chain reaction, many people in the Castle fainted directly. Those who didn't faint were either lying prone on the ground or leaning against the wall, as if an invisible pressure was forcing them to submit.
Charlotte Linlin, facing the overwhelming aura, also released her Conqueror's Haki. For a moment, Black-Red Lightning even sparked between the two auras colliding in the room inside the Castle. Wang Zhi and the person wrapped in Silver Armor seemed oblivious to this scene, calmly continuing to drink their wine. Captain John, however, gripped the table with his hand so tightly that cracks appeared on the table corner due to the force.
Nicholas looked at the cloaked figure beside him, whose steps were somewhat unsteady. He smoothly took her hand and helped her sit beside him, while a force field quietly expanded, enveloping him, Vistad, and her.
"Whitebeard, you bastard, you're really strong! Lion's Might: Ground Roll!"
Golden Lion took a puff of his Cigar, floated in the air, and suddenly stepped forward. A domineering aura swept across the land. At the same time, the entire ground around Whitebeard was lifted up by some furious beast about to burst from the earth. The massive Soil wave transformed into multiple Lion heads, roaring as they rolled towards Whitebeard in the center.
Faced with the Soil wave hundreds of meters high and the Lion heads roaring at him, a scene like the sky falling, Whitebeard grinned, revealing his teeth.
"Gurarararara. Now this is a bit more like a fight."
Then, with a sudden burst of strength in his arm muscles, he swung his Naginata. The top of the Naginata was surrounded by a white sphere, accompanied by a piercing roar, and slashed out at the roaring Lion pack before him.
Rumble!!!
In an instant.
Only a roar remained between heaven and earth!
When the roar subsided, Golden Lion hovered in the air, his two swords, Cherry Blossom and Confused Ten, tightly gripped in his hands. Whitebeard also held his Naginata in one hand, their eyes locked on each other.
Suddenly, they both looked towards the center of the island, where two familiar auras were rapidly spreading outwards.
Almost simultaneously, powerful auras erupted from both of them.
The four originally invisible auras collided with each other, creating a destructive storm, like heaven and earth colliding. The air in between groaned under the pressure.
Crack crack crack!!!
The entire sky seemed to be affected at some point. The previously clear sky was now covered in dark clouds. Chilling Black-Red Lightning roared continuously. The overwhelming King's will collided with each other like tangible substances, locked in a stalemate, then soared into the sky, stirring up the boundless clouds.
The entire sky split open at some point, forming a huge vortex in the middle, surrounded by swirling dark clouds and Black-Red Lightning.
The surrounding Sea also churned due to the gale generated by the weather, with endless monstrous waves crashing. The ships in the harbor could only drift with the waves. Hachinos Island seemed to be overwhelmed and began to tremble.
Many Pirates with decent strength looked towards the source of the auras, their faces pale and foreheads covered in cold sweat.
Many weaker individuals were directly blown away by the aura of the clash between Kings. Within tens of thousands of meters centered on the skull-like Castle, the number of people who could still stand was less than a hundred.
"Too terrifying!"
"Is this the collision of Conqueror's Color?"
Many Pirates who had just joined recently watched this scene like a display of nature's fury, their teeth chattering. Looking at the apocalyptic scene in the sky, densely interwoven with Black-Red Lightning, their minds seemed to go blank.
These powerhouses, merely with the collision of their auras, could make them collapse to the ground. The gap was beyond description with a chasm. It was truly unimaginable whether they would even have the right to stand if such figures fought with their full strength.
"Hahahaha, fantastic, fantastic! Is this the gathering place of the strongest in the Sea!? It's truly exhilarating!"
Unlike the Pirates around him who were struggling under the pressure of the aura, a young man with two long horns on his head, long hair, a rugged face, and a Spiked Club in his hand seemed excited under this pressure. In other words, he looked somewhat mentally unstable.
"Kid, that's why I told you before to put away your arrogance. There are many people here who can easily kill you. Even your monstrous physique and vitality, before you've fully grown, can still be easily erased in the eyes of the top powerhouses of the Sea.
So, if you want to grow, then show your potential in the upcoming Bloody Feast!"
A short man wearing a chef's uniform and a chef's hat, while teasing the baby in his arms, said to the somewhat manic young man beside him.
"Bloody Feast?! I'm really looking forward to it!"
"Cough cough."
Just as the aura collision in the Castle was becoming more intense, a coughing sound suddenly appeared.
Hearing this sound, Rocks' aura also vanished abruptly. He smiled and looked towards the entrance, "It's Shaki."
Unlike his combatant subordinates, Rocks had considerable respect for Shaki, who was responsible for intelligence gathering. After all, he could deal with those brainless guys with his fists, but he was unwilling to easily offend the intelligence officer, finance officer, and logistics officer of the crew.
"Captain, I know there are many Conqueror's Haki users on board, but isn't this a bit too much? Do you know how much we lost just now? I guess there will be another batch of idiots."
"Hahaha, sorry, sorry, it won't happen next time."
Rocks scratched his hair and said embarrassedly, showing no trace of the overwhelming aura he had just exuded.
"Linlin, since you didn't bring back the target, what about the Intelligence?"
"Intelligence I do have. It's that the Celestial Dragon seem to be plotting something. They have been collecting a lot of Rare Metals around the world recently."
Charlotte Linlin sat in her seat, picked up a Cake, and stuffed it into her mouth, as if nothing had just happened.
