ZEN: Rise of the Guardian
Volume 2: Zaiko The God
After the battle with the Null Circle, peace settles over Arken City — but far above Earth, something ancient stirs.
Zaiko, once known across the universe as a destroyer of imbalance, awakens after centuries of slumber. Drawn by the signal triggered from Zen's cosmic power, he descends to Earth with a single mission: eliminate the source of the energy that could disrupt the fabric of existence.
Zen prepares to fight, but the battle takes an unexpected turn. In the heart of their clash, Zaiko sees something he never expected — choice. For the first time, he hesitates. In Zen's courage and heart, he sees a mirror of his own forgotten purpose.
Instead of destroying Earth, Zaiko spares it. He withdraws from battle and vanishes — only to return days later, not as a god of judgment, but as a protector. Zaiko chooses to stay on Earth… as its guardian.
Now, a new hero rises.
Zaiko, still mighty yet learning the ways of humanity, joins forces with Zen and Sam. Together, they face a new threat: a dark cosmic cult called the Abyss Order, who wish to resurrect an ancient entity that even Zaiko once feared.
Zaiko learns to live among humans — clumsy, curious, and powerful beyond measure. Sam becomes his translator to human culture, while Zen trains beside him, both learning from each other. Zaiko discovers the beauty of Earth — music, laughter, friendship — things a god never understood.
In the final battle, when the Abyss Order opens a rift to the Void Realm, it's Zaiko who makes the sacrifice, diving into the rift to seal it from the inside. But just before he disappears, he leaves Zen with a final gift — a spark of divine power.
The world hails Zen as a hero…
But they now whisper another name too:
Zaiko — The God Who Chose to Protect.
And somewhere, in the depths of the void, Zaiko watches…
Waiting for the day Earth needs him again.
