Chapter 20 - Echoes of the Ancient Sun

Morning at the base arrived with a heavy silence. Kael had spent the entire night reliving the battle. The images wouldn't leave his mind: the solar energy streaming in, the darkness trying to swallow him, the heat burning from the inside out.

But what resonated most was the face of the soldier in the containment suit. There was something there… something familiar.

In the main hall of the base, Aria was waiting for him, a metal box in front of her. When Kael arrived, she opened the compartment to reveal an old digital tape, almost corroded by time.

"We found this in the equipment left by HelionTech. It's from the old archives… and it has your name marked on it."

Kael frowned. "My name?"

Aria plugged the tape into one of the projectors. A flickering holographic image took shape: a sterile laboratory, white corridors, and in the center… a containment cradle. Inside, a baby radiated a soft light, like a bottled sunset.

A voice sounded in the background of the recording:

— "Experiment Solaris-01. Stabilization of the solar energy core in a human embryo successful. The future of HelionTech begins here."

Kael took a step back.

— Is that… me?

— You weren't just chosen, Kael, — Aria said in a firm voice. — You were created by them.

The world seemed to spin. The pieces began to fit together. His father mysteriously finding him. The empty memories of his childhood. The constant feeling of being watched.

— I am… an experiment?

— Maybe. But that doesn't define who you are now, — she replied. — And you are not alone.

At that moment, the doors of the base opened, revealing three new figures.

— These are allies of the resistance. Each of them also carries a connection to special energies… different from yours, but equally powerful.

The first was a girl with white hair and silver eyes. Selene, controller of lunar energy. Silent, but with a presence that made the air seem colder.

The second, a tall, smiling man, with bright tattoos running down his arm—Daz, user of earth energy, which vibrated through his body like underground thunder.

Finally, Ryo, the youngest, with eyes so blue they seemed to reflect the sky. He manipulated currents of wind and electricity with the lightness of a leaf.

Kael looked at them, feeling a strange familiarity. Not like someone meeting friends again… but like pieces of the same puzzle.

"Each of us is a fragment of something bigger," Selene said. "And now, maybe it's time to bring these fragments together… before the world breaks apart for good."

Kael took a deep breath, feeling the solar energy vibrate alongside the others. Different, but harmonious. Complementary.

"Then let's discover who we are together." And show HelionTech… that you can't bottle the sun.

And so, the group's true awakening began.
