Chapter 11 - Velvet Chains, Obsidian Eyes

The lights dimmed within the spire's private sanctum—a circular chamber of obsidian and white marble, pulsing faintly with Lucien's presence. The air shimmered, thick with pheromonal tension and subtle psychic energy. This was no longer just a place of combat or control…

It was his sanctuary of subjugation.

Selene Caelis sat at the edge of the padded ritual platform, wrists bound behind her with rune-etched silken straps—not out of force, but out of necessity. Not for Lucien.

For her.

Her muscles still twitched with resistance, her pride clawing like a caged animal. But her mind—that was the battlefield Lucien had already begun to win.

He approached slowly, barefoot, dressed in a black open robe lined with crimson silk. His chest was bare, carved and powerful, the marks of supernatural dominance etched into his skin like living tattoos.

"You've lasted longer than most," he said, crouching before her. "But you'll fall all the same. It's just…" He ran a finger down her throat, slow and cruel. "...more enjoyable when it takes time."

Selene's breath hitched. Her pupils dilated against her will. His presence was addictive—like a drug she never asked for but now burned to understand.

"Still pretending to hate it?" he whispered. "Or are you just scared of how much you've already surrendered?"

She spat near his feet.

Lucien only grinned.

"I'll take that as foreplay."

Behind them…

Vespera, Akari, and Iris watched from plush cushions at the side of the chamber. They were already in states of undress—lingerie straps sliding down shoulders, thighs bare, faces flushed. But their eyes weren't lusting for Lucien.

They were watching Selene.

Waiting.

Willing to teach her how it feels to be broken.

Lucien stood and raised a hand. The seal on the chamber glowed.

Selene whimpered.

It was the first sound she hadn't controlled.

Lucien chuckled. "You're close. So close. One more night, and you'll beg to be mine."

He turned toward the others. "Prepare her."

Akari moved first, gently brushing Selene's cheek as her bindings were loosened. Vespera joined her, whispering softly in the Huntress' ear. Iris simply knelt before Lucien, her lips parting.

Three women, one man.

And Selene?

She was still resisting.

But the war was almost over.
