Chapter 4 - The Light House Meeting

The sun was beginning to dip below the horizon as Emma and Daniel stood at the edge of Willow Bay, gazing up at the old lighthouse perched on the rocky cliff. The golden light bathed the weathered stones in a warm glow, casting long shadows over the crashing waves below.

"This must be the place," Emma said softly, her heart pounding with anticipation. "The lighthouse where Eleanor and her lover planned to meet."

Daniel nodded, pulling out a small flashlight. "Let's see if we can find any clues—maybe something they left behind."

They climbed the winding staircase inside the lighthouse, the air thick with history and salt. At the top, the view was breathtaking: the endless ocean, the quaint town below, and the sky painted in shades of pink and orange.

As Emma's eyes scanned the room, something caught her attention—a small, weathered box tucked beneath a loose floorboard. With Daniel's help, she carefully pried it open.

Inside were faded photographs, a pressed flower, and a folded piece of parchment. Emma unfolded the parchment, revealing a poem:

"Though tides may pull us far apart,

Our love remains within the heart.

In every wave, in every breeze,

Our souls entwined across the seas."

Emma looked at Daniel, her eyes shining. "They really loved each other."

Daniel smiled, reaching for her hand. "And maybe their love story brought us together, too."

The lighthouse seemed to hold not just memories of the past, but the promise of a new beginning—one that Emma and Daniel were ready to explore together.
