Homeroom
As Class ended the Teacher finally spoke about something other than the lesson.
"Hello. You all seem to be having quite a lot of fun. Mind if I introduce myself?"
They all seemed to quiet down for once as the teacher chuckled.
"My name is Chabashira Sae. I wanted to introduce myself earlier but you all seemed quite busy."
Suzuki looked around. None of them had a shred of guilt over their behaviour.
'It is truly disgraceful that these failures were allowed into this school.'
Chabashira sighed as she looked at her class. She was clearly disappointed though not many noticed.
"I used to teach Japanese history but given my position as your Homeroom teacher, I will be teaching all of your subjects to you. Throughout the three years you spend here you will not change homeroom teachers outside of special exceptions. If you take out your phones and check the School App you'll find 100, 000 Private points in your account.
Suzuki opened his phone and checked it. She was telling the truth.
'What is it? Some kind of currency'
"Each Private Point is equivalent to 1 Yen."
There was an obvious uproar from this news. Even Suzuki was taken aback by such a large fund being given to him.
'100, 000 yen? Even putting aside that it's our first day isn't this a bit much? Isn't it too lax for an elite school?'
Suzuki looked to Kiyomi. Her expression was unchanged.
'She's not excited?'
"You can purchase anything on campus using these Private Points."
A green-haired boy by the name of Hirata Yosuke spoke up.
"Um Sensei. You're really giving us 100, 000 yen?"
"This school rewards students based on their merit. You all earned 100, 000 for making it in. Private points with be allocated monthly."
Hearing this there was even more celebration.
'Every month? Isn't that too much?'
Suzuki sighed.
'I expected it to be stricter given that Nee-San is attending here.'

Grocery Shop
Suzuki was looking through some vegetables when Kiyomi stood beside him looking through the shelf.
"You know. It's getting unpleasant as to how many times we end up running into each other you know."
"It is? That's kind of rude to say."
"It's also rude to make a person feel like they're being stalked."
"Well, it's a coincidence so there's nothing I can really do about it."
She then picked up cup noodles and showed them to Suzuki.
"What are you waving that thing in my face for? Have you gone deranged?"
"Um... is this price about right?"
Suzuki looked at her with a puzzled expression for a second.
'Is she serious?'
"Um. So?"
"You can't be serious. You don't even know that much?"
"..."
Suzuki sighed.
"You're hopeless you know."
Suzuki checked the price.
"It's about right but you do know this stuff isn't good for you right?"
"Getting worried about my health? Sounds like we're on the way to becoming friend."
"Not even. Eat it till you die for all I care."
"Woah. That's so uncalled for."
Suzuki stopped for a second.
"Fine. I'm sorry alright. It's just... Sigh... I prefer to be alone so please leave me alone."
"Sorry for bothering you I just wanted to try it."
"Don't tell me you've never tried Cup Noodles before?"
"My father is a ... strict man."
"I think I'd like him then."
"No... you probably wouldn't."
'What makes her say that? Hm. Is it abuse? Then what I said was a bit insensitive. Maybe I should be a bit nicer to her.'
"Hey, Horikita-Kun. Is that free toiletry I see over there?"
Suzuki turned to look.
"It is..."
'Why would they provide us free items? They already give us 100, 000 points. Why is this school... sigh... I expected some more difficulty.'
"Strange."
"Agreed. It's far too lenient."
"That's not what I meant but sure."
Kiyomi then noticed Sudo at the counter. He was getting into an argument with the cashier.
"Damn it. I forgot my card."
"No card no buying anything."
"Ugh. Fuck. How could I forget my student card. Damn it."
Sudo left the store and sat down on the ground.
"He's truly incompetent."
"I wouldn't judge him that quickly."
"Unless you make a quick judgement of someone when you meet them it might be too late before you find out you're hanging around the wrong crowd."
"Hm?"
"It's nothing."
The two then heard a commotion outside as they paid for their stuff and walked out finding Sudo arguing with Senpais.
"Hey, that's out spot."
Sudo glared at them obviously pissed off.
"What do you mean spot? It's the ground and it doesn't have your name on it or anything."
"That doesn't matter Class D trash."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean you asshole!?"
Suzuki sighed at the scene in front of him.
'Honestly. The Senpais at this school are so childish. Obviously the time they've spent being pampered by the school has resulted in this.'
Sudo tried to attack them but Kiyomi held him back.
"Don't do something you'll regret."
Sudo blushed feeling her breast pressing on his back. Suzuki walked over grabbing Kiyomi's shoulder.
"Let him go. You don't need to involve yourself with idiots like him."
"It's fine. It's what I want to do."
Suzuki sighed letting go.
'She's too altruistic. A person like her... will never survive in the real world. Besides these Senpai's likely won't respond to reason so what's the point in trying to stop them?'
Kiyomi looked to the Senpais as bowed.
"Please forgive our rudeness Senpia. We're leaving."
'What! What is she doing!? Why would she lower herself for idiots like them!?'
Sudo looked surprised and annoyed.
"But..."
"Leave it alone Sudo. It's just the curb. You can eat wherever else you want."
Sudo sighed relenting as the Senpai looked annoyed.
'What with that annoyed expression? Isn't this what you wanted? Or...'
"You're lucky you have your Class A friends looking out for you Class D trash."
Sudo got annoyed and was about to attack them, causing the Senpai to smirk. Suzuki grabbed Sudo's shoulder, stopping him.
"Stop it. Let's just go. We have a girl here. Don't get her involved in stupid things."
Sudo looked annoyed but agreed.
'What was with that smirk? Was he trying to instigate a fight? No... was he trying to get this idiot to attack him? Why?'
When the three arrived in a different spot Sudo made an annoyed expression.
"Those damn assholes! I'll beat the shit out of them next time!"
Suzuki made an annoyed expression.
"You're such a dullard that you cause issues for your own classmates like this. Honestly who even let you into this school?"
"Fuck you, man! Who do you think you are?"
"Ask yourself that question. Fool."
Suzuki left.
"He's such an asshole."
Kiyomi looked to Sudo patting his shoulder.
"I wouldn't say that. He's blunt but he means well."
"What?"
"He's trying to tell you not to cause problems for the class."
"I don't really get it."
"It's alright. You'll understand eventually."

Homeroom
Kiyone and Suzuki were in class as it ended when Hirata and a group of girls approached.
"Hello Ayanokoji-San."
"Oh... Hirata-Kun..."
"Would you like to hang out with us? I'd hate for you to be all alone."
"Me?"
"Yes."
Suzuki saw this and made a slightly annoyed expression.
'When did she get so popular? Why does it annoy me?'

Homeroom-Next Day
Suzuki was sitting in class when Kiyomi arrived sitting down.
"Where have you been? You're almost late."
"Making friends. The process was more uncomfortable than expected."
"What exactly were you doing?"
"Shopping... a lot of shopping. I ended up spending 35, 000 on clothes... sigh... Well, at least I'll be fashionable."
"A waste of points. It actually surprises me that you went along with that dull group."
"Well, I want to make friends. Anyone will do."
"Anyone? You're not even going to consider that you're better off without being friends with certain people? Especially people who spend that much on clothes this early into the year?"
"Not really."
"You don't even look like you're enjoying yourself. It's just that blank expression on your face again."
"I am enjoying myself though. I'm just not good at expressing myself."
"Fine. Whatever."
"Horikita-Kun. If that's how you feel then how about you be my friend?"
"Huh? Me?"
"Yes. Why not?"
"I..."
Suzuki looked at Kiyomi in the face. She remained expressionless. It was like looking at a doll. Her face was unchanged. Her gaze was empty but her beauty was something you could not look past. Suzuki blushed a little from staring at her for too long. He turned away to hide his face.
"Alright fine. Since I feel bad for you and you've got no better options I guess I'll let you be my friend."
"Thank you Horikita-Kun. So... um... Would you go to the club fair with me?"
Suzuki's face became serious in an instant.
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
Kiyone tilted her head a little. Suzuki blushed at this.
'Wait does she know that her gaze softens me up? Ugh! Why does it soften me up?'
"I'm not going."

Club Fair
Suzuki and Kiyomi walked around the club fair.
"I kept telling you no. How did I end up here?"
Suzuki sighed.
"Nevermind."
"Then let's go check out the stands."
They wandered around checking out each stand.
"No Karate..."
"Why? Are you interested?"
"No... not really."
"Hm... well alright."
They explored a little more as they came to the Music Club's stand. Suzuki noticed the way Kiyomi was eyeing the piano.
'She's looking at the Piano on display.'
"Do you play Piano?"
"Huh? Um, not really.."
"You really expect me to belive that with the way your eyes have been locked onto the piano?"
"..."
"Are you that bad at it?"
"I wouldn't say I'm bad at it but there must be some geniuses in this school. I'd look bad by comparison."
Suzuki chuckled.
"You're such a coward."
"Isn't that a little uncalled for?"
"Not at all. You want to make friends right? Then go up there and give them a reason to be your friend."
'That should help her if only a little.'
Kiyomi sighed.
"Fine."
Kiyomi was walking towards the Piano when she came across Asahina.
"Oh hi. Are you thinking of joining the music club?
Kiyomi points to the Piano.
"Can I try it?"
"Oh sure."
She took a seat and played Piano Sonata No. 29 (Hammerklavier) - Beethoven. Suzuki was astonished. He was mesmerised by it his eyes locking on her. The crowd around stopped in their tracks to listen and watch her play. Kiyomi walked over to Suzuki.
"You... that was beautiful."
"Thanks, I guess."
Asahina was stunned at the performance.
"That was amazing! Please join the music club!"
Kiyomi sighed.
"Um alright. If you'll have me."
Suzuki felt himself getting drawn to her.
'Calm down and regain your composure. Come on!'
"That must be why you were admitted to this school. A Musical Savant."
Asahina laughed.
"You two sure are close."
Kiyomi looked to Suzuki.
"I thought we were past the stage of insulting each other."
Suzuki chuckled.
"Aren't you the one that said it was just banter?"
"What a troublesome man you are."
Some students gathered around Kiyomi including Ike and Yamauchi. Yamauchi smiled looking at her.
"That was amazing Ayanokoji-Chan!"
"Oh... thanks."
Ike walked over closer.
"Want to be my girlfriend?"
Suzuki glared at Ike a little making him back off.
'Damn it what am I doing?'
"Um. No. Sorry. I'll have to pass on that offer."
Suzuki and Kiyomi leave. Kiyomi looks to Suzuki.
"What was with that glare earlier?"
"Huh? Um. It's nothing."
"Hm? Well alright."
'Just what is going on with me?'

Start Of Next Month In Class
Kiyomi sits down and turns to Suzuki.
"Hey um... did you get your points today?"
"No. I didn't. It's strange."
'What is going on? Is the system slow?'
Chabashira enters and Hirata stands up.
"Chabashira-Sensei. What's going on? Why haven't we received any points?"
Chabashira looks at her class and sighs.
"I can assure you that all Points were assigned correctly to all classes."
"But we haven't..."
"Honestly. Do you not understand still? Do you really think this school would give you so many points for being lazy slackers who can't even pay attention in class?"
"But you never said..."
Suzuki sighed at this.
'Idiots. But still. What about me? Why haven't I received points?'
"Does it need to be said not to talk in class or miss it entirely? I was under the impression that you should have learned that in Grade School."
Hirata looked apprehensive as he looked around at his classmates.
"At least tell us how you evaluate us."
"I can't do that. Just as a company has the right to restrict that information so does this school."
Hirata grits his teeth in frustration.
"Here is what I can share. In the school, points are divided between Class Points and Private Points. Private Points are the ones you can use to buy things. Class Points determine the amount of Private Points you will receive each month. 1 Class Point is equal to 100 Private Points. Bad behaviour causes a loss of Class Points and this class currently has 0 Class Points. "
'Wait... these idiots... cost us all of our points and I have to suffer for it as well!?'
Suzuki gritted his teeth in anger when Kiyomi turned to him.
"Sorry."
"What?"
"Sorry."
"You don't seem all that sincere from your expression but..."
Suzuki calmed down and spoke.
"It's fine."
'Honestly, I should have expected that this school wouldn't be so easy.'
Many of the students were shocked at this news as Chabashira wrote up the Class Point Totals;
Class A- 940Cp
Class B- 650Cp
Class C- 490C
Class D- 0Cp
Chabashira claps.
"Congratulations are in order. No class in this school's history has blown through all of their Class Points in 1 month."
Everyone has a dark expression as Hirata tries to fix things.
"Isn't there a way to earn more Class Points?"
"There is. There are things known as Special Exams where Class Points can be earned and lost. And if you gain more points than Class C you'll be promoted to Class C."
"But why is that?"
"Only students who graduate from Class A are guaranteed job opportunities."
Everyone is shocked. Ike slumped in his chair processing the information.
"We're not even close to Class A. We're 966 points behind. We're doomed."
Chabashira smirked.
"The next exam is coming up and it's not looking good for you pieces of trash. Such horrible marks."
Chabashira shows a chart showing the horrible scores of the class. Only Horikita, Koenji and Yukimura show good results.
'How am I going to turn things around? Being in Class D is unacceptable.'
