Chapter 11 - Kain's Second Win

Later that Night

Lyla stood outside Kain's door, her heart hammering so loudly that she was sure someone would hear it.

The hallway was dim, quiet except for the occasional distant laugh echoing from the main courtyard.

Finn's voice wasn't one of them.

No, he was in his room, three pints deep and getting deeper, thanks to Ruby's careful coaxing.

He wouldn't be interrupting anything tonight.

She swallowed, staring at the door like it might bite her.

Maybe it already has.

Before she could lose her nerve, the door creaked open from the inside.

Kain stood there, leaning casually against the frame, barefoot, loose black joggers riding low on his hips, a plain dark shirt clinging to his toned chest.

He smiled down at her, slow and knowing.

"Took you long enough"

Without waiting for an answer, he caught her wrist lightly and pulled her inside.

The door clicked shut behind them with a final, deliberate sound.

The room was dimly lit, warm.

It smelled faintly of mint and something darker underneath, something him.

Lyla opened her mouth to say something, anything, but then she noticed.

Ruby was there too.

Sitting cross-legged on Kain's bed, wearing only a large white shirt that barely reached the tops of her thighs.

Lyla froze, wide-eyed.

"R-Ruby? What are you...?"

Ruby smiled sweetly, tilting her head.

"Helping, of course," she said lightly, like it was the most natural thing in the world.

"Third lessons are better with a friend, don't you think?"

Lyla's mind reeled, some instinct deep inside of her warning that this wasn't normal, that this wasn't right.

But Ruby was already rising gracefully to her feet, crossing the room with a languid, catlike stretch.

"You trust me, too, don't you?"

Ruby murmured, stepping closer, fingers brushing lightly along Lyla's arm.

She shivered under the touch.

"You know I'd never hurt you," Ruby whispered.

"Neither would Kain. We just want you to feel good"

Kain's presence loomed behind her, solid, warm.

Safe.

Lyla's breath hitched as Ruby's fingers laced gently with hers, leading her toward the bed.

Toward him.

"You don't have to think tonight," Ruby said, voice syrupy sweet.

"Just feel"

Lyla's head spun.

It was wrong.

It was strange.

And yet...

It felt good.

It felt right.

Kain caught her other hand, his thumb stroking slow, lazy circles over her palm.

"You've been so good," he murmured against her ear, his breath hot against her skin.

"You deserve this"

Ruby leaned in too, pressing a soft, innocent kiss to Lyla's cheek.

The dam inside her cracked.

She let them guide her down onto the bed, heart pounding so fast it blurred the world around her.

He sat behind her, pulling her back against his chest, hands stroking soothingly up and down her sides while Ruby knelt before her, smiling that same soft, coaxing smile.

"Let us take care of you," Ruby whispered, fingers slipping under the hem of Lyla's blouse.

The first touch of bare skin on skin made Lyla gasp, her hands flying up to grab Kain's arms instinctively.

He held her steady, murmuring low reassurances against her hair.

"That's it. Just like that"

Ruby's fingers were gentle, teasing as they explored, slowly lifting the fabric away, baring more and more of Lyla's trembling body to the warm air.

By the time her blouse was pulled over her head and tossed aside, Lyla was already panting softly, her skin flushed, her nipples hard peaks against the cool air.

Kain's hands slid up to cup her breasts from behind, thumbs circling lazily over the sensitive tips, drawing helpless whimpers from her lips.

Ruby kissed her again, this time at the hollow of her throat, soft and coaxing.

"You're so beautiful, Lyla," she whispered.

"You deserve to feel everything"

Lyla's hips shifted unconsciously, seeking more friction, more touch, more everything.

[ System Notification ]

[ Lyla – Lust: 65% → 80% (Condition: Active Submission) ]

Kain chuckled low against her neck, his teeth grazing her skin.

"Ready for your third lesson?" he murmured.

Lyla nodded, dazed, lost.

And then Ruby's hands were at the waistband of her skirt, slipping it down over her hips, exposing the soft curve of her thighs.

Kain shifted behind her, urging her to lift her hips as they peeled the last barriers away, until she was left wearing nothing but the shy, desperate need burning in her eyes.

Ruby trailed kisses lower, mapping every inch of her exposed skin while Kain's hands explored leisurely, claiming her without rushing, savoring every trembling reaction.

When Ruby's mouth finally found the aching heat between Lyla's legs.

Lyla cried out sharply, clamping her thighs around Ruby's head instinctively, only for Kain to whisper soothingly, prying them open again.

"Let her," he breathed against her ear.

"Let us"

Ruby's tongue flicked expertly, coaxing her higher, faster, until Lyla was trembling violently, clutching at the sheets, at Kain's arms, at anything.

When she shattered, it was Kain who caught her cry with his mouth, kissing her deeply as she broke apart in his arms.

She collapsed against Kain's chest, body trembling, breath coming in ragged gasps.

The aftershocks still rolled through her like distant thunder.

But Kain wasn't done with her.

Not even close.

He slid out from behind her, standing at the edge of the bed now, watching her with burning eyes.

Ruby gently stroked Lyla's hair, whispering soft praises against her flushed ear.

"You did so well," she murmured.

"But you're not done yet"

Lyla lifted her heavy-lidded gaze just in time to see Kain strip.

The shirt came first, pulled up and over his head in a slow, almost lazy motion.

Underneath, every line of muscle shifted smoothly.

The joggers followed, sliding low over his hips until they fell away completely, leaving him gloriously bare.

Lyla gasped softly, awed, overwhelmed.

He was big.

Beautiful.

Utterly intimidating.

Kain smirked, seeing her wide-eyed stare.

"Like what you see, princess?"

She nodded helplessly, unable to tear her eyes away.

Ruby giggled softly and tugged Lyla's hand down, encouraging her to touch him.

"Go on," she coaxed.

"He's all yours tonight"

Her fingers trembled as she wrapped them around the heavy, throbbing weight of him.

He hissed through his teeth, muscles tightening.

"Come on now, open your legs for me"

Ruby helped, guiding Lyla to lie back against the pillows, spreading her thighs wide, baring the slick heat of her core to Kain's ravenous gaze.

He sprawled over her, settling between her legs, his hands sliding up to grip her hips firmly, possessively.

"You sure about this, Lyla?" he murmured, his voice a deep rumble against her skin.

She nodded, breathless, desperate.

"I need you," she whispered.

Ruby leaned in, kissing her softly, while Kain positioned himself at her entrance, rubbing the thick head of his cock against her folds, gathering her wetness.

"You're gonna take me so good, sweetheart"

"Every. Fucking. Inch!"

He pushed forward slowly, stretching her tightness around him, inch by devastating inch.

Lyla cried out, her fingers scrambling against his arms, overwhelmed by the sensation, too much, too big, too good.

Ruby murmured soft, encouraging words against her ear, stroking her hair, her sides, helping her relax.

Kain gritted his teeth, holding himself back, giving her time.

"You're doing so good," he rasped.

"Almost there, baby. Just a little more"

He bottomed out with a deep, shuddering groan, his hips pressed flush against hers, his cock buried to the hilt inside her trembling body.

Lyla's breath hitched, tears of pleasure prickling at the corners of her eyes.

She'd never felt so full.

So claimed.

Kain didn't move at first, just held her there, letting her adjust.

Ruby kissed her cheeks, her neck, her chest, whispering over and over how perfect she was, how beautiful, how good it was going to feel.

When Lyla finally whimpered and shifted her hips needily, Kain's restraint snapped.

He pulled back slowly, almost all the way, then drove back into her with a deep, punishing thrust.

Lyla screamed, high and sharp, a sound of pure bliss.

Kain cursed low and dirty, setting a brutal, relentless rhythm, his hips slamming into hers again and again, filling her, wrecking her!

Ruby kept her grounded, kissing away her tears, stroking her body, guiding her through every overwhelming wave.

"Fuck this feels way too good," Kain growled, voice rough with need.

Lyla could only whimper, her hands fisting in the sheets, her legs trembling around his waist.

Every thrust sent shockwaves through her, building faster and faster, hotter and hotter, until the world blurred around the edges.

When she came again, it was earth-shattering, her whole body seizing around him, crying his name like a prayer.

Kain kept burying himself deep inside her as he followed, pouring himself into her with a final, savage thrust.

They collapsed together, a tangled mess of limbs and sweat and gasping breaths.

Ruby curled up beside them, smiling sweetly, stroking Lyla's hair as Kain cradled her protectively against his chest.

"You're ours now," Ruby whispered.

Kain kissed the top of Lyla's head.

"Mine," he corrected softly, possessively.

"But... you both belong to me"

Ruby giggled.

Lyla, dazed and ruined, could only nod weakly, safe in their arms, branded in body and soul.

Each thrust from Kain was merciless.

Heavy.

Final.

At first, she clung to the memories, the only thing she had left.

Finn's clumsy, sweaty palm squeezes hers for the first time.

The awkward side-hugs he'd given her after school, hearts racing, faces burning.

The way he used to stutter whenever he tried to tell her she was pretty.

They were sweet.

Pure.

Untouched.

But Kain didn't leave room for purity.

He ravaged her, thick, brutal strokes that filled every fragile corner of her trembling body.

Every time he drove into her, another piece of Finn's memory cracked and crumbled.

The sweaty, innocent hand-holding?

Destroyed by Kain's hands locking onto her hips, slamming her down onto his cock with a vicious, punishing rhythm.

The shy, awkward hugs?

Gone, buried under the relentless grind of his hips pounding her into the mattress.

Finn's voice, stammering out nervous compliments?

Drowned out by Kain's rough, deep grunts, by the slap of skin against skin, by the obscene sounds tearing from her own throat.

Tears pricked at Lyla's eyes, but she didn't dare close them.

Because when she looked up, she saw Kain looming over her, muscles straining, face twisted with dark hunger.

There was no Finn left.

Only the man destroyed her.

Claiming her.

Owning her.

Every brutal thrust rewrote her body's memory.

Rewired her instincts.

Carved into her soul.

She wasn't holding a boy's hand anymore.

She was being held by a man who had no intention of ever letting her go.

The spot Finn would have been too shy, too gentle to even touch?

Kain crushed it without mercy.

Her back arched violently.

Her mind shattered.

All the sweet dreams she'd spun with Finn crumbled into nothing under Kain's unrelenting force.

She wasn't Finn's innocent crush anymore.

She was Kain's possession.

Somewhere deep inside, she knew there was no going back.

No awkward hugs.

No shy glances.

Only the brutal memory of Kain's cock stretching her.

But Kain wasn't finished.

Not even close.

Without warning, he dragged her up by the hair, gentle enough not to hurt, but commanding enough to make her whimper, and flipped her onto her stomach.

Before she could even think, he grabbed her hips, lifted her ass up, and shoved himself back into her, deeper than before.

A scream tore from her throat, muffled by the mattress.

He didn't give her time to adjust.

Didn't let her think.

Didn't let her dream.

All he gave her was raw force.

A relentless pace that smashed against the last fragile walls of her mind.

Every brutal thrust sent shockwaves through her soaked body.

And with each savage plunge, Finn's memory was ripped further, further away.

The sweet, bashful boy who once held her hand under the table at lunch?

Gone.

The boy who once promised, in a trembling voice, to protect her forever?

Annihilated.

The only thing left was Kain.

His cock battering her open, his heavy breath crashing against her sweat-slicked back, his dominance written into her soul.

"K-Kain...!" she gasped out, a desperate, shattered noise, half-plea, half-worship.

"H-hard please!"

SNAP

He slammed harder, faster, brutally.

And when he finally buried himself fully inside her, she felt it.

A savage flood of heat, so much that it gushed out around his thick cock, dripping down her trembling thighs, branding her from the inside out.

It wasn't just a climax.

It was a claim.

Final.

Absolute.

Her mind blanked.

Her vision went white.

She collapsed limply onto the mattress, still twitching and gasping for air.

Kain leaned back, admiring his handiwork.

Ruby, still kneeling nearby, smirked lazily, twirling a strand of hair around her finger.

"Are you done with her?" she purred.

Kain wiped the sweat from his forehead, grinning wickedly.

"Round one," he said casually.

"Feeling left out?"

Ruby's eyes gleamed.

Without hesitation, she crawled over to him, shedding the last of her clothes without shame.

"I was hoping you'd ask"

He chuckled darkly, dragging her onto his lap without another word.

The room filled again with obscene sounds, Ruby's eager moans, Kain's low growls, the slap of skin on skin, as Lyla lay twitching, barely conscious.

Morning

Sunlight streamed softly through the curtains.

Lyla stirred, blinking slowly.

She stretched her arms above her head, confused by the strange ache between her legs, the heavy warmth pooling low in her belly.

Then she realized where she was.

Kain's bed.

She blinked again and froze.

Ruby lay beside her, still half-draped across the bed, breathing softly, hair wild and tangled.

Lyla's face flushed crimson.

'Was it... a dream?'

The memories were hazy, blurred around the edges, fragments of heat, gasps, rough hands.

'No way... that couldn't have been real'

It had to be a dream.

A very, very vivid one.

Still blushing furiously, Lyla buried her face in the pillow, whimpering softly.

Meanwhile, across the room, Kain leaned against the wall, arms crossed, watching her with a smile.

"Morning, Lyla," he drawled, his voice smooth and low.

"Did you sleep well last night?"

Lyla squeaked, yanking the blanket up to her chin as she turned her wide eyes toward him.

"K-Kain?!"

Her heart hammered painfully against her ribs, and she could barely manage to meet his gaze.

He looked maddeningly calm.

Relaxed, even.

Like he knew something she didn't.

"I- I don't know!" she blurted out, flustered.

"I mean, yes! I mean, I don't know!"

Ruby shifted in the bed beside her, mumbling incoherently, her golden hair fanning across the sheets.

The sight made Lyla's cheeks burn even hotter.

Kain chuckled low in his throat, the sound rich and wicked.

He pushed off the wall, walking toward her with lazy, confident strides.

There was something in the way he moved, a slow grace, that made her instincts scream at her to hide... yet also stay frozen.

"You looked like you enjoyed yourself," he teased, eyes gleaming with amusement.

Lyla buried her face deeper into the pillow, letting out a tiny, miserable whimper.

Her ears twitched wildly atop her head, giving her away completely.

Kain sat at the edge of the bed, close enough for her to feel the warmth radiating from his body.

He reached out, brushing a lock of white hair behind her ear with a gentleness that made her shiver.

"You really don't remember?" he murmured, softer now.

Lyla peeked up at him hesitantly.

His teasing smile had faded into something quieter, something almost tender.

"I... remember pieces," she whispered.

"Heat. Touches. Your voice..."

She squeezed her eyes shut, feeling like she might die from embarrassment.

"It felt... real"

Kain leaned down, his forehead resting lightly against hers, his breath warm against her skin.

"That's because it was," he said, voice deep and steady.

Lyla froze.

Her heart slammed against her chest.

The world tilted, and for a moment, it was only him, the weight of his words sinking into her bones.

"Don't worry," Kain murmured.

"You were perfect"

A soft, helpless sound escaped her, half whimper, half sigh.

"And Ruby...?" she squeaked out.

Kain's chuckle rumbled through the air, low and wicked.

"Oh she was fucking good as well, lasted much longer of course since we've been doing this a lot"

Lyla's face burned brighter than the sun.

Kain brushed the back of his fingers against her cheek, so tender it made her throat ache, before pulling back slightly.

"You can rest," he said gently.

"If you want to, of course"

Then, without warning, he pressed a kiss to her forehead, light, lingering, achingly sweet, before standing up.

He crossed the room to the window, throwing the curtains wider, letting sunlight fully hit the room.

The light caught his figure perfectly.

He looked like a king carved from marble and fire.

Lyla stared at him from the bed, dazed and trembling.

Ruby stretched lazily beside her, golden hair spilling across the pillows like a halo of mischief.

Kain walked back and sat at the edge of the bed, dismissing the System's quiet notifications flashing in his vision with a flick of thought.

[ Bond Strengthening Event Completed ]

He didn't need reminders.

And naturally, that's when disaster decided to strike him.

BAM!

The door shuddered on its hinges as someone outside rammed into it at full speed.

From the other side, a loud yelp echoed.

"FUUUUCK!"

Kain closed his eyes for a moment, exhaling slowly through his nose.

Finn.

Of course, it was Finn.

Ruby, who just woke up, bit her knuckles to stifle a laugh.

Lyla squeaked and burrowed even deeper under the covers.

Kain stood up smoothly, the blankets slipping off his lap.

He adjusted his shirt, glancing back at the girls with a low, steady voice:

"Get dressed. Quickly. We're going to eat breakfast with him"

Lyla peeked out from under the blanket, wide-eyed.

Ruby just grinned wickedly and stretched like a cat.

Kain didn't wait for an answer.

He crossed the room and cracked the door open.

Finn was sprawled on the ground outside, clutching his forehead with both hands and moaning dramatically.

"Bro," Finn whined, "your door is evil"

Kain stared down at him, completely expressionless.

For a brief, treacherous second, he considered letting Finn rot on the floor.

But no.

This wasn't the time for loose ends.

If Finn started sniffing around now, all drunk, loud, and half-conscious, he might say something stupid and ruin everything.

Kain sighed quietly.

He knelt down and hauled Finn up by the back of his shirt, ignoring the idiot's pathetic groaning.

"You're lucky you're too stupid to notice anything," Kain muttered under his breath.

Finn blinked up at him, still dazed.

"Huh?"

"Nothing"

Kain clapped him on the shoulder, maybe a little harder than necessary, and shoved him gently toward the hallway.

"Go sit down. I'll bring the girls. We're eating"

Finn gave a thumbs-up, wobbling slightly on his feet.

"You're a real one, bro"

He stumbled away without another word.

Kain watched him go, making absolutely sure Finn didn't double back.

When he was satisfied, he turned back to the room.

Ruby was already halfway dressed, smirking like she was having the time of her life.

Lyla was still struggling to find her dignity along with her clothes.

Kain's voice was firm but calm.

"Five minutes. Be ready"

Without waiting, he stepped outside to deal with the next inevitable headache.

The door clicked shut behind him.

The System chimed lightly in his mind:

[ New Side Quest: Breakfast Diplomacy ]

[ Objective: Prevent Dumbass from Uncovering Anything ]

Kain rubbed his temple.

This morning was going to be hell.

Five Minutes Later

The walk to the mess hall felt like a death march for Lyla.

Her palms were clammy.

Her ears twitched nervously.

Her heart pounded so hard she thought she might collapse before breakfast even started.

Ruby, walking beside her, looked obnoxiously calm, practically bouncing on her heels.

"Relax," Ruby whispered, flashing a grin sharp enough to draw blood.

"Just act normal. Stupid over there won't notice a thing"

Lyla whimpered under her breath.

"Easy for you to say..."

Ruby's eyes gleamed wickedly.

"Oh, honey, I've been cheating on Finn for a month"

She tossed her hair back with a smirk.

"He never noticed. Won't notice now"

Kain walked a few steps ahead of them, his pace unhurried, every movement radiating cool, dangerous confidence.

He was already handling things.

As they entered the mess hall, the low buzz of conversation dropped into an uncomfortable silence.

Eyes darted toward them, some curious, some scandalized, a few downright terrified.

It didn't matter.

Kain's presence flattened the room.

Anyone who thought about opening their mouth immediately thought twice.

If that wasn't enough, Kain casually slid a gold coin across a few tables, his gaze flickering meaningfully toward some of the more loose-lipped students.

One terrified boy practically tripped over himself, scrambling to catch the coin.

Another student, bolder, opened his mouth, only for Kain to smile at him, slow and deliberate.

The boy paled, shut up, and buried his face in his food.

Problem solved.

Finn, meanwhile, sat in the middle of the room at their usual spot, happily shoveling eggs into his mouth like a toddler.

He waved frantically when he saw them.

"GUYS! Over here!" he hollered, nearly dropping his fork.

Ruby plastered on a sweet, fake smile and tugged Lyla forward.

Lyla stumbled after her, feeling like she was going to throw up.

Kain took his seat with casual grace, the girls sliding in as well.

Finn didn't even blink at the tension thick enough to choke a dragon.

"Man, I had the craziest night," Finn said, laughing between bites.

"I think Ruby got me hammered, and then I passed out. Musta been a wild party, huh?"

Ruby batted her lashes innocently.

"Oh, you have no idea," she said sweetly.

Lyla choked on her juice.

Kain silently slid a napkin toward her without a word, the picture of calm.

Finn leaned back in his chair, utterly oblivious.

"You know," he said, grinning, "I think today's gonna be a good day! I can feel it"

Kain smiled faintly, that kind of smile that promised horrible things if you knew him at all.

"Oh," he said, voice low and lazy, "it will be"

Across the hall, a few brave idiots still dared to whisper.

Kain caught the sound without even looking.

His eyes flicked up, and he tilted his head just slightly.

The whispers died instantly.

Another gold coin slid across another table.

Threats.

Bribes.

Charm.

Kain was mastering the morning one move at a time.

Lyla sat rigidly beside Finn, feeling like she was about to implode under the weight of her guilt.

Ruby leaned back in her chair, sipping her juice with self-satisfaction.

Kain?

He simply sat there, a king among fools, drinking his coffee with calm nerves.

Finn never suspected a thing.

Not even as Lyla fidgeted.

Not even as Ruby occasionally shot Kain, secret little smirks.

Not even as Kain occasionally brushed his fingertips against Lyla's knee under the table, subtle enough that no one noticed, except Lyla, who nearly jumped out of her skin.

Breakfast dragged on like that, the most tense, awkward meal in history.

And through it all, Finn just kept eating, laughing, and talking about his plans for the day like the complete dumbass he was.

Kain hid a smile behind his coffee cup.

About halfway through Finn's painful retelling of how he once tried to wrestle a goose because he thought it was a "miniature dragon," Kain decided he'd heard enough.

He set his fork down with a quiet clink and pushed his chair back.

"Gonna hit the restroom," he said lazily, already standing.

Ruby gave him a small smirk.

Lyla, without thinking, almost reached out for him, then snapped her hand back, face burning when she caught Finn's clueless grin.

Kain slid away smoothly, hands in his pockets, moving with that same slow, dangerous grace.

The moment he slipped past the mess hall doors, the familiar cold flicker of the system brushed his senses.

[ System Notification ]

[ Lyla - Affection 65 ➔ 100 ]

Kain paused mid-step, tilting his head slightly.

That wasn't just a jump, it was a full leap.

A second alert chimed immediately after:

[ System Notification ]

[ Status Effect Update: Guilt ➔ Devotion ]

[Behavioral Note: Subject will now instinctively prioritize Kain's approval above all others]

He leaned casually against the nearest wall, covering the subtle shift of his expression with a bored yawn.

'So, even the soft ones break when pushed the right way'

He pushed off the wall and began strolling back toward the dining hall, the system still quietly updating him:

[ System Notification ]

[ Harem List Update: Lyla has been added ]

[ Loyalty Note: Lyla now accepts Kain's relationships with other women without jealousy, provided she is not neglected. She will actively protect secrets involving Kain ]

His smirk grew wider.

Everything was falling into place.

Ruby had finished the job beautifully, and knowing her, she'd already whispered something sly to Lyla while he was away, reinforcing everything he'd just locked in.

As he approached the door, Kain could already imagine it:

Ruby sitting all innocent with a little devilish smile, leaning into Lyla's ear, saying something like:

"Don't think too hard about it, Lyla. Just follow him. That's all you need to do"

And poor Lyla, caught between guilt, love, and Ruby's coaxing, would fold like paper.

When he reentered the room, nothing seemed outwardly different.

Finn was still babbling, completely unaware that the two women sitting across from him had already shifted sides without a second thought.

But Kain?

He felt the change in the air immediately.

Ruby glanced at him, a glint of victory in her blue eyes.

Lyla's gaze snapped to him, wide, earnest, utterly devoted.

Kain casually made his way back to the table, settling into his chair as if nothing had changed at all.

Because now, everything has.

Under a fucking idiot's nose.
