Synopsis
Everyone feared him. Everyone hated him. And in the end... he hated himself most of all. Ravi was once a name whispered in fear—a cunning pawn of the underworld, dancing in the shadows of crime, betrayal, and guilt. But fate—or perhaps something far greater—gave him a second chance. When the Dragon God of Realms, Nithin, offers him a new life, Ravi is reborn into a world that remembers none of his sins… except him. Now a college student in a quiet city, Ravi tries to live a simple life. But the shadows of his past echo in every choice, every fight, and every moment he struggles to be better. Whether it's standing up to mafia thugs or protecting the innocent, Ravi begins to carve out a new path—one paved not in blood, but redemption. Guided by a divine power watching from the shadows, and challenged by enemies from both his past and present, Ravi must answer a burning question: Can a villain ever truly become a hero? This is not a story of perfection. It’s a story of scars. Of redemption. Of strength earned, not given. "Echoes of Sin: No Longer the Villain" — The past haunts. The future calls. Will he rise… or fall again?

Chapter 0: The Fall

"From the Eyes of a Sinner"

---

Blood.

Glass.

Silence.

The world around me is a mess of twisted steel and burning rubber.

My luxury car—the one I used to flaunt like a crown—is nothing but a coffin now. Smoke pours out from the engine. I can't feel my legs.

Is this what dying feels like?

My hands tremble as I reach for the broken door, but even that feels like lifting mountains.

My ribs scream.

My lungs burn.

And through the cracked mirror above me, I see something worse than blood—

I see my own reflection.

Empty eyes.

A smirk that once held pride, now trembling in fear.

My name is Ravi Verma.

I built empires with lies. Crushed people with a smile. Walked over broken dreams like stepping stones.

I was the king of my world.

But right now...

I'm just a man begging for a second more.

God... I don't want to die like this...

Flashes from my past hit me like lightning—

—The desperate beggar I laughed at.

—The intern I blackmailed into silence.

—The small business I destroyed for profit.

—The mother I loved… and ruined.

Her.

Her face cuts through the chaos like a dagger.

She was beautiful. Kind. Hopeful.

I played with that hope. Twisted it. Turned it into despair.

Rohit's mother.

I told myself I loved her. That she was different.

But when she asked for real love… I ran. Left her in debt. In shame. In silence.

She died alone.

And I killed her.

"Ravi…"

A voice.

Familiar. Cold.

My head turns.

Him.

Rohit.

The skinny kid from school.

The one with oversized glasses and haunted eyes.

The one I used to humiliate every. single. day.

He's grown now. Stronger. Taller. But his eyes—

They still hold the pain I gave him.

He stands just a few feet away from the wreckage, staring down at me like I'm a roach crawling on broken glass.

I cough, blood trailing from my lips. "R-Rohit... is that really you…?"

No answer.

Just the wind. And the fire behind me.

I try to smile. To explain.

But all I can say is, "I'm sorry…"

His fists clench. His jaw tightens. And then—

"You're sorry… now?"

His voice is calm. Deadly calm. Like a blade dipped in frost.

"You bullied me until I wanted to disappear. You made my life a joke.

And when you found my mother years later… you ruined her too."

He takes a step forward. I flinch.

"You didn't just kill her, Ravi.

You killed everything good in her.

Her smile. Her pride. Her soul."

I start to cry. Not from pain.

But from something worse—

Regret.

Real, burning regret that eats away at the walls I built around my heart.

"I didn't mean to hurt her…" I whisper.

Rohit stares at me like he's looking at the ghost of his past.

"You didn't mean to hurt anyone. But you did anyway."

He turns away.

"Goodbye, Ravi."

"Wait—!" I scream, but the breath dies in my throat.

My heart… is slowing.

The lights… are dimming.

No… please…

I don't want it to end like this.

I want to fix it.

I want to say sorry—to everyone.

I want to be better.

Please… give me another chance…!

And then—

A voice.

Not from this world.

Deep. Echoing. Ancient.

"Do you truly regret your sins?"

The voice fills my soul. My body. The dying pieces of me that still cling to life.

Tears pour down my face.

"YES!!" I scream with everything I have left.

"I regret it all…! Please… give me a chance to make it right!"

Silence.

And then the voice returns—stronger, final, divine.

"Then rise, sinner. One last chance awaits you…"

---

Black.

Cold.

Still.

And suddenly—light.

U better use it carefully
