Chapter 2 - The Power of a Thousand Narutos

Naruto walked quickly through the village streets.

His heart was pounding in his chest. Not from fear—but from excitement.

He had a secret.

A huge, amazing, world-breaking secret.

A voice in his head. A blue screen. A system that let him level up his skills.

And now… he had infinite points to use.

He still couldn't believe it.

He walked past the academy. He looked at the windows where he used to sit, bored and confused during class. All those times he didn't understand how to mold chakra. All those times he got scolded by Iruka-sensei for not listening.

But none of that mattered now.

Because now… he could learn anything.

He could become anything.

Naruto smiled to himself.

"Let's test this out," he whispered.

He ran toward the old training grounds at the edge of the village. It was an open field with trees all around. There were old logs set up for target practice. No one was around.

Perfect.

He stood in the center and cracked his knuckles.

"All right," he said, raising his hand. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Poof!

A small cloud of smoke filled the air.

But this time… something was different.

A lot different.

Instead of one or two clones, hundreds of Narutos filled the field. In less than a second, the quiet training ground turned into a sea of orange.

They were all real. Not just illusions. Not just weak copies.

They were all… him.

Each clone looked around, wide-eyed.

"Whoa!" one said.

"This is crazy!" another shouted.

"I feel real! I feel strong!" said a third.

Naruto stood in the middle, stunned. "You guys… are actually thinking?"

"Of course!" one clone replied. "We're you!"

Another one jumped up and did a perfect backflip. "We even remember what you were thinking a second ago."

Naruto laughed out loud.

"This is amazing!"

The clones cheered.

Then one said, "So what do we do, boss?"

Naruto blinked. "Huh?"

"You summoned us. What do you want us to do?"

Naruto looked around. His brain was racing.

He had never been good at reading, writing, or paying attention in class. But now? He had hundreds of himself, ready to train.

A smile spread across his face.

"I want you all to train."

He pointed at a group. "You guys—practice chakra control. Walk up trees. Balance on water. Don't stop until you master it."

They saluted and ran toward the trees.

He pointed at another group. "You—practice taijutsu. Spar with each other. Learn how to fight."

They nodded and started throwing punches.

He turned to another group. "You—throw kunai. Hit every target. Try to hit small ones too."

They ran to the logs, pulling out kunai.

He sent more groups to study jutsu scrolls, flip through academy books, practice stealth, and even learn cooking.

("Hey, if I learn to cook ramen, I don't have to spend money at Ichiraku every day," he laughed.)

Hours passed.

The sun moved across the sky. Naruto sat in the middle of the field, watching all his clones train.

He could feel their energy. He could feel their power.

And slowly, he started getting tired.

Not from moving.

But from… knowledge.

His eyes opened wide as new memories filled his head. The clones were disappearing one by one after finishing their training, and every time they poofed—he gained their skills.

Chakra control became easier.

Punches became sharper.

His aim became deadly.

He even remembered how to boil water, cook noodles, and perfectly chop green onions.

Every clone that vanished gave him a new skill, a new ability, a new strength.

"This… is insane," he whispered. "I'm getting stronger by the second."

Then he had a thought.

"What if I use more points?"

He opened the blue screen again.

He looked at Chakra Control.

It used to be one of his worst skills. But now… it was almost average.

He grinned.

"Let's make it Level 100."

He tapped it.

[Skill Updated: Chakra Control - Level 100][You now have perfect chakra balance. Water walking and tree walking feel like breathing. You can mold chakra with no effort.]

He stood up and ran toward a tree.

He didn't focus. He didn't even try.

He just walked up the side of the tree like it was nothing. Then he jumped, flipped in the air, and landed softly on a branch.

He stood still, looking out over the forest.

"I'm not weak anymore," he said. "I'm gonna prove them all wrong."

He looked up at the sky.

"To everyone who ever laughed at me… I'm gonna become the strongest ninja ever."

He clenched his fist.

"The Hokage."

His clones below cheered.

And from far away, hidden behind the trees, someone was watching.

A man with silver hair and a mask over his face.

Hatake Kakashi.

He had been watching Naruto for a while.

And what he just saw…

Didn't make sense.

"That kid... what did he just do?"
