Chapter 9 - Epilogue – Bloodlines Reforged

Bloodlines Reforged

10 Years Later

Location: The Black Chapel – Somewhere in Northern Scotland

The rain hissed against the dark spires of the fortress-like compound known as The Black Chapel. Once a remote Hellsing outpost, it now stood as the stronghold of a new kind of order—a coven not built on hunger, but on honor.

Inside, the stone halls echoed with the rhythmic sound of combat boots. Dozens of young Death Dealers sparred in the training halls, moving like shadows, firing silver rounds at animated dummies and leaping over reinforced obstacles. They wore sleek, tactical armor—stitched with the sigil of a blood drop inside a circle of thorns.

At the far end of the hall stood David, older now but no slower, watching silently.

Victoria approached, handing him a tablet with blood intake records.

"Batch 7's stabilizing," she said. "The cloned blood is working. No hunger, no addiction."

David looked over the data, then the recruits.

"We're close."

Coven Protocol – A New Order

David addressed the recruits later that night in the central chamber. Behind him, a glowing cylinder pulsed—housing genetically refined, synthetic blood, cultured from vampire DNA but harvested without hosts.

"No more killing," he said. "No more feeding off humans. We are Death Dealers—not monsters. We protect the world from those who would tear it apart."

Victoria stood beside him, armored and calm, the perfect example of discipline.

"If you lose control," she said coolly, "you don't belong here."

Guests in the Shadows

From the upper balcony, two watchers stood cloaked in silence.

Integra Hellsing, now gray at the temples, arms crossed as she overlooked the coven.

Beside her, Alucard, leaning on the railing, a crooked grin on his lips.

"Hmph. A coven of vampires who don't drink blood," he mused. "How droll."

Integra lit a cigarette. "And yet, they're the future."

Alucard glanced at David. "Let's see how long they can keep the peace. The night always stirs what sleeps beneath it…"

Final Scene – Midnight Watch

Later that evening, David stood alone on the outer wall, watching the moon rise. Victoria joined him, quiet for a while.

"You think we can keep this together?" she asked.

David's eyes didn't leave the horizon.

"If we don't… someone worse will rise. The next war won't give us another chance."

Victoria nodded.

Below them, the next generation of vampires trained—not for domination, but for balance.

For the first time in centuries…

The night had a purpose.
