Town of Magnolia
Fairy Tail Guild
"Welcome to Fairy Tail!"
Lisanna and Alfman stood in front of the gate of the Fairy Tail Guild and said to Aiden Brooks.
Aiden looked up at the Fairy Tail guild, and the image in his memory gradually merged with the one before him.
"I've actually come to... Fairy Tail..."
Even though he knew he was in the world of Fairy Tail, the feeling of actually arriving at the Fairy Tail guild was still different.
When he watched the Fairy Tail anime, he dreamed of joining it one day, but he never expected that such an unattainable dream would come true.
"Hmph!"
Before Aiden could savor the moment, Mira snorted and walked in.
Throughout the journey, Mira hadn't given Aiden a friendly look, subconsciously viewing him as a competitor.
Aiden didn't mind much; he knew that although Mira would grow up to be a gentle and pleasant beauty, whom he admired greatly, she was quite violent in her youth—a true fiery spirit.
"Bang!"
Mira kicked the door open and shouted, "I'm back!!"
The gate of the Fairy Tail guild swung open, revealing an extremely lively and noisy atmosphere within.
"Hit him! Come on, Natsu!"
"Hit him, Gray! Don't lose!"...
At this moment, a fierce duel was underway in the guild. A boy with cherry-colored hair and a boy with black hair were wrestling.
Not only did the people around them not intervene, but they also watched the spectacle eagerly, with many cheering on the fight.
Aiden took one look and immediately recognized the two wrestling figures as the male protagonists of the Fairy Tail anime, Natsu and Gray.
"You b*****d who plays with fire!"
Gray punched Natsu in the face, causing Natsu to stagger back into a table and chairs, a smug grin on Gray's face.
"You pervert who uses ice!"
Gritting his teeth, Natsu rushed back quickly and punched Gray in the face, knocking Gray to the ground too.
"A**hole! I'm angry!"
Gray clenched a fist and placed it into his other palm, preparing to release ice modeling magic, as a chill emanated from his hands.
"Using magic? Who's afraid?"
Seeing Gray about to use magic in the fight, Natsu showed no fear. Instead, his eyes sparkled with interest, and flames ignited on his hands.
"Bring it on!"
"ICEMAKE Big..."
"Fire Dragon's Iron..."
Suddenly, two large hands descended from above and slapped both of them down.
Master Makarov bellowed: "You two rascals, I've told you that magic is not allowed in guild fights. Do you two want to tear the guild down?!"
"Master!"
"Master, you're back!"
"Welcome back, Master!"...
When the guild members saw Makarov, they all greeted him warmly.
"Huh? A newcomer?" Makarov noticed the unfamiliar boy in the guild, Aiden Brooks.
"Yes, I just joined the guild. My name is Aiden Brooks." Aiden nodded.
As in the anime, Makarov was a very small old man with a clown-like hat on his head.
He seemed frail, yet his strength was immense. His powerful magic and the brilliance of Titan Magic and Super Magic Fairies cemented his status as one of Ishgar's top ten wizards.
However, what impressed Aiden most about Makarov was not his power, but his love for the guild's children. He genuinely treated them as his own family, acting like a father figure to everyone in the guild.
Aiden held great respect for Makarov.
Lisanna added, "Master, Aiden is really powerful. He defeated the powerful monster Gorma with a single sword stroke and saved sister Mira, me, and Alfman."
"Huh?" Makarov was a bit surprised.
"Saved Mira?!"
Mira was very displeased upon hearing this and shouted angrily, "No! I had already killed one Gorma, but I didn't expect another. I didn't need saving—I could have killed that monster myself."
"But he killed Gorma with one blow, so he might be stronger than Mira."
"Stronger than Mira?! The guild has a great newcomer!"...
The guild members couldn't help but murmur. Though young, Mira was considered among the top in the Fairy Tail guild.
Even many adult mages in the guild were no match for Mira.
Among her age group, only Erza could rival Mira, and none of the boys were her match.
Listening to the chatter, Mira became increasingly frustrated.
Finally, Mira couldn't contain herself and jumped onto the table, pointing at Aiden, "Hey! Let's have a showdown and let everyone see who's stronger!"
"Oh! Mira is going to duel with the newcomer!"
"The strongest newcomer boy in the guild VS the strongest girl in the guild!"
"Could this be the ultimate showdown in the youth group?!"...
The guild members were thrilled at the prospect of a fight.
Aiden didn't want to make his first impression at the Fairy Tail guild as aggressive, nor did he want to fight a girl.
His past experiences taught him a lesson: never fight with girls.
If you win, they'll say you bullied a girl.
If you lose, they'll say you couldn't even beat a girl.
That would be even more embarrassing, so the best course is not to engage in fights with girls—if you don't fight, you can't lose.
"I..." Just as Aiden was about to refuse, a system prompt sounded in his mind.
"Ding! Trigger a side mission!"
"The swordsman is fearless: as a swordsman, never fear any challenge!"
**"Mission Content: Accept Mirajane's challenge and defeat her."**
"Mission Reward: A chance to draw a lottery."
"Failure Penalty: The next lottery reward will be canceled."
Aiden's expression shifted, and he said with determination, "I accept this challenge!"
