Chapter 1 - Prologue

A Sinner, the Church of Light branded her when she made the Priestess Of Purity lose her innocence.

A Home Wrecker, the cuckolded King of Darkness told the masses.

A Villain, the Heroine Of Ages said to her, as she moaned her named.

The Devil herself, The Goddess Of Mist exclaimed in her heart for having been cheated on by her.

But the truth is, the woman herself was none of those things, she was a single minded person, a Villainess in her own right.

She saw what she liked and went after it, if that made her the devil, so be it. But despite her carefree mind, she loved her women, so it came as a shock that ripped into her very soul when the Sword Inquisitor, plunged a sword right through her heart.

She looked up from the ground into the cold eyes of one of her lovers. And uttered a single word, "w-why?" as coughed up blood from her wound.

The Sword Inquisitor's cold expression softened for a second before smoothing over. She knelt before the Villainess And whispered in her ear.

"I had no choice, it was the only way I knew how to save you. Even if you come to hate me for what will come next, I still believe this was the best thing I did. For you, I would burn thousands of worlds, for you, I would destroy anyone who wishes to harm you.

And for you, I would even kill you with my own hands, if it means saving your life. So there's no need to forgive me, I betrayed you, in more ways than one, goodbye my love, we shall meet again in the next life. But not as friends or lovers but as sworn enemies.

The Sword lit up with splendor and radiance, and before those overlooking the battle knew it, there was not even a speck of an ash that belonged to the Incinerated Villainess.

10 538 Years Later:

Hero City, E-rank Academy Inside A Super Hero History Lecture Class:

"And that's why the Sword Inquisitor is the true hero of ages. She sacrificed the love of her life, so that she could save the world. That's a noble act, not many can match up to."

"Teacher, I understand why the Sword Inquisitor had to kill the Villainess Of Lust And Destruction, but why did she also kill her lovers? Weren't they also the victims of the Villainess due to her Authority over Sex, Beauty, Lust, Pleasure and Sensuality? She could've tricked them, using their body to control their minds."

The teacher paused hearing this question, it reminded her of the time, she also sat were her student sat, asking her teacher about this very question that plagued her to no end.

But she knew no answer would ever satisfy this curious kids, like it never satisfied her.

"Well Charlotte, I guess this is your assignment for the week, make a report on why the Inquisitor killed the Villainesses lovers. In fact everyone in here is doing the report."

A loud boom of dissatisfaction rang throughout the class, pleasing to the ears of the teacher.

The bell rang, and she was about to dismiss her students, when another student of hers raised her hand. She looked at the student, not recognising her, because of her low presence in the class.

"Yes, um.."

"Celeste ma'am."

"Oh, sorry my old age makes me sometime forget the names of my students."

The class buzzed with laughter.

"Celeste, ask your question?"

The inconspicuous girl nodded, as she pulled back her hoodie, revealing an extraordinary beautiful young woman. The teacher found herself unable to breathe looking at someone as blindingly beautiful like her student.

"Fuck dude she's freaking hot, as promised you're going to eat dog shit."

"Why the fuck would I do that?"

"Don't you remember that bet when you said, "I bet hoodie girl hides her face because she's actually extremely ugly underneath that hoodie, I will eat dog shit if I'm wrong" well here we are, eat it."

"Fuck off."

"Wow, she's even prettier than the Ice Goddess.."

"Don't you dare slender my queen, hoodie girl might be slightly pretty but no one is prettier than my Goddess.."

"Humph young people and their taste, the biology teacher is the hottest chick in this school you fools. Why go after unripened fruit when you can go after ripe milfs"

"You boys are sick.."

"Tell them class president.."

"You're just sour because you're ranked only twenty in the beauty scale."

"Why would I care about something so abhorrent?"

"Beca—"

"Everyone quiet!" Mrs. Rowland's voice boomed silencing everyone, "go on Celeste, ask your question."

The hoodie girl merely nodded, "Do you truly believe the Sword Inquisitor was a hero?"

Mrs. Rowland raised a brow, before she replied.

"Yes, why do you ask?"

"Mmm, then do you have someone you care about in your life?"

She didn't know where this was going but she answered nonetheless, "yes, I do."

"Then would you sacrifice them to save the world?"

The quiet suddenly became eerily quiet, as every student turned towards their teacher waiting for her answer. The teacher in question froze, unable to utter a single sentence.

The beautiful student chuckled, her sweet voice echoing inside the otherwise quiet classroom. It was as if she was mocking Mrs. Rowland's lack of reply.

"You know what I think? I think the Sword Inquisitor was a coward, a low life that's worse than the lowest villain scum. There's no noble act in betraying and killing someone you care about.

How people still praise her stupidity is dumbfounding. You're telling me, all of you still call yourselves heroes by sacrificing those you love for the greater good? Hehe.. I guess it's true what they say, idiots will always praise idiotic decisions made by foolish people because they are nothing more than sheep."

She then stood up from her chair, pulled back her hoodie, and walked out the classroom, leaving everyone speechless.

Mrs. Rowland finally dismissed her class, her mind occupied by the unanswered question her mysterious student left her.

She played with the question at the tip of her tongue, asking herself again and again, "would I really be able to?"
