Chapter 2 - Chapter 177: When I Say It’s Over, It’s Over

At this moment, Vali—both the aura surging from his body and the terrifying compression attack he had unleashed—had reached a level beyond what any barrier could contain.

Even with Michael and Gabriel, two of Heaven's highest-ranking seraphs, pouring all their strength into maintaining the defensive field, the barrier was doomed to fail against god-tier power.

And Vali, in his Juggernaut Over Drive form, had undoubtedly reached that godlike level. Even the idea of slaying a deity was no longer out of reach.

Faced with such overwhelming force, the barrier couldn't possibly hold.

If it broke, Vali's attack would spill out past Kuoh Academy, leading to a disaster the likes of which had never been seen before.

But how bad would it be?

To put it in perspective:A high-class devil could easily raze a mountain.A Maou-level being could annihilate an entire small country—and if going all-out, obliterate a city.

But a god-tier being?

Just the release of their aura, their very presence, could shatter mountain ranges and reshape the land. Their true attacks could reduce entire cities to ash in an instant. Even a metropolis like Tokyo would be rendered a crater in the face of such power.

Letting Vali's assault breach the barrier wouldn't just mean the end of Kuoh Town—it would very likely destroy a large portion of Japan, or worse, plunge the entire country into the sea.

Realizing this, even the Maou bloodline heirs of the Old Satan Faction—Sharba, Catreya, and Cruzeray—turned pale. Without hesitation, they began forming magic circles to teleport away.

"Vali!"

Azazel wasn't going anywhere. He had no intention of fleeing—nor of letting this catastrophe unfold. His golden armor gleamed as dragonic energy surged from within, preparing him for a desperate last stand.

"…No choice left!"

Even Sirzechs abandoned his clash with Sharba. His face grew dark, and a wave of destruction magic erupted from him—so vast, it surpassed even Maou-level power and made the heavens wail.

But someone moved even faster than Azazel or Sirzechs.

The one standing directly in the path of Vali's massive attack—

Kaiser.

He could feel it—the sheer force threatening to swallow the land beneath his feet, to obliterate everything within hundreds of kilometers. He knew…

Vali was going for a decisive blow.

Because his power had been halved, Vali's magical reserves were running dangerously low. And Juggernaut Over Drive consumed even more magic than the normal Juggernaut Drive. It was a form he could barely sustain.

Not for minutes. Not even for seconds.

Ten seconds—even that might be optimistic.

And so, Vali had chosen to stake everything on this one, overwhelming attack—to end it in one strike.

If Kaiser dodged, Vali would be finished.

But if Kaiser dodged… so would Kuoh Town. And maybe Japan.

So—

"Then I won't hold back either, Vali."

The wings behind Kaiser's back unfurled.

Every jewel embedded across his armor began to glow.

BOOOOOOM!!!

A torrent of energy—equal to or even greater than Vali's—exploded from Kaiser's body.

"I am the sovereign—the one who steals the White Dragon's unsullied might—""I bear infinity, command dreams—""I am the tyrant of the Dragon God—dragging all into the abyss of nothingness—!"

As the twisting force approached, ready to swallow him like a natural disaster, Kaiser chanted with a voice that shook the world.

His energy flared, shifting color—pure white turned to abyssal black, as if all creation itself was being rewritten.

The white light darkened. The pure armor blackened.Only the blue, translucent membranes of his wings and embedded gems remained unchanged.

At that moment, the White Dragon became a Black Dragon. The Morning Star became the Fallen Star.

"Juggernaut Drive!"

Kaiser released the true power of his Divine Dividing—awakening its sealed potential and allowing the concept of "infinity" to take form within him.

BOOM—

The reality-twisting force arrived at last, aiming to crush all in its path.

But within that roaring abyss, it stopped.

"Divide!"

A familiar mechanical voice echoed from Kaiser's blackened armor.

"Divide!" "Divide!" "Divide!" "Divide!" "Divide!"…

Each jewel on his body lit up in sequence, releasing immense draconic waves that halved the twisting attack again and again and again—

Until finally…

It was small enough to grasp.

CRACK!

Kaiser's black-plated hand clenched.

The attack shattered.

It was gone.

The battlefield fell silent.

Everyone—Vali included—froze in place.

RUMBLE…

The black-armored figure still pulsed with power, warping the air around him.

"…That's… Juggernaut Drive?"

Countless eyes were locked on Kaiser, bodies trembling from the oppressive aura he now gave off.

Only two beings truly understood what had just happened.

From the Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing—

"That's Ophis's power!"

"So that's it… That White Dragon armor contains the power of the Infinite Dragon God!"

The Heavenly Dragons—Ddraig and Albion—finally grasped the truth.

The aura sealed within Kaiser's Sacred Gear could no longer be hidden.

Once Kaiser had entered Juggernaut Drive and unlocked the power of the "Snake", it became clear: the White Dragon Emperor wings he wore were not just replicas.

They were forged with the essence of Ophis.

"I get it now!"

Azazel suddenly shouted, eyes wide, his voice trembling with revelation.

"The White Dragon wings… were crafted from lower-tier Sacred Gears containing Albion's power!"

"And the core—it's one of Ophis's Snakes!"

As expected of the man who had spent his life studying Sacred Gears, Azazel connected the dots at lightning speed. Recalling everything Kaiser had done—retrieving shattered Balance Breaker fragments, searching for draconic relics—it all became clear.

"Using lower-tier Gears of the same type to absorb higher-tier fragments… enhancing their potential… then sealing infinity itself into the core—replacing the soul of a Heavenly Dragon with the essence of a Dragon God…"

"That's how he built those wings!"

"But how…?! Even if it's theoretically possible—our current tech can't do that!"

"How did he balance the dragonic energies with different ranks? Solve the internal node conflicts? Redesign the structure? Reprogram the core functions? And the 'Snake'—how did he contain and channel it without blowing the whole thing up?!"

Azazel was thrilled—and completely at a loss. The deeper he understood the theory, the more unbelievable Kaiser's success seemed.

In theory, yes.In practice? Impossible.

Not without a miracle.

Or without total control.

That was Kaiser's secret.

He possessed ultimate authority over weapons—able to control and reshape a Sacred Gear down to its very blueprint. For someone like him, problems of compatibility and balance were trivial.

He could do what no one else in the world could do.

Not with present-day technology.

Only he could have created a second Divine Dividing—especially one that rivaled, perhaps surpassed, the original.

"It's over, Vali."

The voice came from beneath the black helmet.

Firm. Final.

"No! Not yet!"

Vali refused to yield. His battered form trembled, but he wasn't done.

"I can still—!"

He prepared to burn through his life force—magic exhausted, desperation mounting—to hold his Over Drive form just a little longer.

BOOM!

Before he could act, the air shattered.

A sonic blast like a meteor strike rang out. In a blink, the black figure that had once stood some distance away was now directly in front of him.

A punch landed.

A single punch.

CRACK—

The blow tore through Vali's silver armor, blood bursting from his mouth as he was hurled into the sky.

KRAKOOM!

He crashed into the top of the barrier, shaking heaven and earth.

CRASH!

Then the barrier itself shattered—like glass.

"Divide!" "Divide!" "Divide!" "Divide!" "Divide!"…

The black figure extended his hand. The jewels on his body gleamed one after another.

Each time the word echoed, Vali—hurtling toward the upper atmosphere—lost half his power.

Again.

And again.

And again.

Until his god-tier strength, his infinite aura, his Juggernaut Over Drive—

Were gone.

Completely gone.

Vali fell.

BOOM!

Kaiser soared after him, a streak of black fire and sonic thunder.

He caught Vali midair.

The once-proud White Dragon Emperor now bloodied, unconscious, and defeated.

"When I say it's over——then it's over."

His voice reached Vali's ears.

"You went too far, Vali Lucifer. So this time, I hit harder. Just to make sure you learn your lesson."

With that, the black dragon descended.

Landing on the shattered ground of Kuoh Academy.

THUMP—

He dropped Vali without ceremony.

Then stood still.

Silent.

Unmoving.

Yet at the very center of everything.

Every eye—friend or foe—was fixed on him.

All were silent.

All were still.

"…Kaiser…"

"Mr. Kaiser…"

Two voices finally broke the silence.

Asia called to him timidly.Kuroka gave a bitter smile, her lips parting as if she didn't quite know what to say.

"…Hm?"

Kaiser blinked. Only then did he notice everyone staring.

Everyone—from the Three Great Factions and the remnants of the Khaos Brigade alike—frozen, unable to move, afraid to breathe.

No wonder.

Now wielding both the power of a Dragon God and Vali's stolen Juggernaut Drive, Kaiser had become something far beyond even gods.

His aura shook the world—cracking the earth beneath his feet and making the heavens scream.

Who would dare to move?

So Kaiser calmly undid his transformation.

He deactivated Juggernaut Drive. He dismissed Divine Dividing.

Returning to his usual self.

"Haa…"

"Phew…"

Only then did people finally exhale.

Kaiser looked around at the battered battlefield.

Then smiled.

"Sorry. Don't mind me."

"Feel free to… continue."

Silence.

Utter silence.
