Chapter 15 - The Female Boss Reborn in a World of Poverty 15

At this moment, Aries realized she still didn't know what her little husband's name was.

Her father Mawen had only said he was the eldest son of the Ning family, but never mentioned his actual name.

Still, Aries didn't feel awkward about it. If she didn't know, she could just ask.

She gently brushed her fingers over the little husband's lips and asked, "What's your name?"

Sky was lying between Aries and the bed, face burning red from shyness. Especially with her finger on his lips, it felt like fire.

He whispered, "I... I'm called Sky."

Even though his voice was low, Aries heard it clearly. She softly said, "Sky."

Just hearing her say his name made Sky shiver all over. He felt like his whole body had gone light.

Wife Lord is so gentle!

Aries had been right earlier—women in this matriarchal world were just like men in her old world. With a soft and beautiful person in her arms, no normal person could resist.

Some things didn't need to be taught—they came naturally.

After Sky cried out "Wife Lord" and fainted, Aries finally finished as well.

She looked at the little husband, tears in the corners of his eyes, and gently wiped them away before holding him as they fell asleep.

Before sleeping, Aries thought, so this kind of thing is actually amazing.

The next morning, as the sky was barely bright, Aries woke up. She looked down at her little husband sleeping soundly in her arms, then placed her palm on him and began using her spirit power to smooth his energy flow.

Without this, Sky would feel terrible for the next few days.

Of course, Aries had her own selfish reasons too—if her little husband felt better, she could do as she pleased again.

Seems like she still wasn't satisfied!

Sky slowly woke up and moved his body slightly. "Mmm—"

His whole body was sore!

Then, remembering what happened last night, his face turned red again.

Wife Lord was too—too—strong!

"You're awake?"

As soon as Sky stirred, Aries noticed, but she didn't stop what she was doing.

He heard her voice above him and tried to sit up, but Aries held him tighter. He was too sore to move anyway.

"Does your body hurt?"

Already shy, Sky couldn't bear her question. He buried his face into her chest.

Then his whole body froze—what was he doing?

But… Wife Lord's chest… was so soft!

Aries, who had been holding back, suddenly breathed faster from that little movement.

Her hands, which had been calmly helping him recover, started to get restless. Sky, stiff with embarrassment, noticed her change right away.

If… if Wife Lord wanted to again… he could… he could…

Sky braced himself, waiting. But Aries didn't continue. Instead, his whole body felt really comfortable.

He didn't know it was because Aries was still sending him spirit power, and just thought it felt great being in her arms.

Once she felt it was enough, Aries stopped channeling her power and let go of him, getting out of bed.

If she stayed, she might not want to get up at all. And then she'd end up being a beast again.

She didn't mind—but this house didn't only have the two of them. Her father, Mawen, was still here.

When Sky saw her get up, he followed, but forgot he was still naked. When he saw Aries' strong back as she put on her underclothes, his face flushed and he dived back under the blanket.

Wife Lord is so strong!

Seeing the little husband's head poking out from the blanket, Aries smiled gently. "I'm going out for a bit. I'll be back before breakfast."

She didn't wait for a reply and walked out the door.

Sky only poked his head out of the blanket after hearing the door close. He stared at the door and blinked, lost in thought.

Wife Lord is so good to him—she must really like him!

And he liked her too—he really liked her!

Aries said she was going for a walk, and she really meant it.

The original owner's mother had chosen this place to build a house because she liked the open space at the foot of the mountain. She had wanted to build once they had enough money.

Aries liked it too—the land was big enough, and if she included the slope behind, it would be perfect for a small estate. If needed, she could even buy the mountain behind to claim more space.

No other homes nearby meant it would be quiet.

After looking around, Aries already had a rough idea. Since she had nothing else to do today, she decided to go talk to the village chief to settle the land.

Even though they wouldn't start building until after the new year, it was best to secure it early before someone else grabbed it.

When Mawen woke up, Sky had already prepared everything for washing up. Once Mawen was done, he naturally headed toward the kitchen to keep an eye on Sky—afraid he'd sneak food.

But he stopped just outside the kitchen.

Aries had already let him sit at the table and eat with them. She even stood up for him. Why would he need to sneak food now?

Hmph! That little fox—he really knew how to charm Aries into taking his side.

Then he remembered the sounds from the room next door last night and felt even more bitter. He turned and walked out into the yard, deciding it was better not to see them.

But then he thought—maybe in a couple months he'd get to hold a granddaughter. That made him happy again. He even looked at Sky a bit more kindly.

Sigh! Aries had grown up. Of course she would take a husband. And what was wrong with being good to her husband? Did he want them to argue all the time?

If the couple didn't get along, how would he get to hold a granddaughter?

Even though Mawen comforted himself this way, he still felt a bit upset. He had raised Aries all by himself—and now she'd be spending all her time with her husband. Later, once she married a proper husband, there'd be another person to share her attention.

Especially when he saw Sky walk out of the kitchen, looking sweet and clearly cherished—Mawen sighed and reminded himself that his daughter was building her own family now.

At the breakfast table, Mawen's mood didn't improve—even with golden, delicious fried eggs on the table. That wasn't like him at all.

Aries noticed and glanced at Sky, trying to figure out what was going on.

Sky met her eyes and gently shook his head, silently telling her he didn't know either. Earlier, when he called Mawen for breakfast, Mawen didn't give him a friendly face.

Actually, since he entered the house, Mawen had never liked him. But today, even though Mawen didn't scold him, the way he looked at him felt worse than before.

Now, seeing Aries look at him, Sky started to worry. What if she misunderstood and thought he upset her father? Would she be angry?

Aries didn't want to bother with Mawen at first. But thinking about how she was using someone else's body, and that Mawen was that body's only family, she reached out and put a golden fried egg into his bowl.

"I'm planning to build a house. After breakfast, I'll go to the village chief and buy the land."

She knew this topic would cheer him up.

Sure enough, as soon as he heard about building a house, Mawen's gloom instantly vanished.

"Really? Aries, when do we start? How big will it be?"
