Chapter 17 - One Hit K.O

On the stage, Lu Leng's expression remained cold and aloof. As he looked at Xiong Rige, who was leaping high into the air, a glimmer of excitement finally appeared in his eyes.

"Not a bad jumping ability."

"Level 35 soul power indeed has an imposing aura."

"But that's fine. The higher he jumps, the less I have to bend down to draw my blade. Otherwise, my clothes might get dirty, and washing them would be a hassle."

Lu Leng muttered to himself.

Meanwhile, the student closest to him in the audience looked utterly confused. "What is he saying? I don't understand a single word."

The woman next to him quickly chimed in, "He said he likes girls who can do his laundry."

The student: ???

As Xiong Rige drew closer, Lu Leng remained motionless. Some of the more sensitive girls in the audience couldn't help but cover their eyes, afraid to witness what was about to happen.

"Die!" Xiong Rige's eyes were filled with bloodlust and madness, his face brimming with confidence.

Below the stage.

The medical teacher had prepared a stretcher, ready to rush in for a rescue at any moment.

The discipline teacher activated his martial soul, prepared to intervene in case Lu Leng was killed.

The female students covered their eyes but opened their mouths, ready to let out piercing screams.

For a moment, the surroundings fell into complete silence, as if everyone could hear their own heartbeat.

But one second later.

The expected scene did not occur. In the silence, everyone heard a cold voice, as if it had echoed directly in their minds, clear and distinct.

"Blade Draw."

Bang! Before anyone could even hear the sound of the blade being unsheathed, they saw Xiong Rige transformed into a cannonball, flying backward and crashing heavily outside the arena.

Silence! Utter silence!

A deathly silence!

But after this brief moment of quiet, the crowd erupted like a volcano, their exclamations as fierce as a raging flood! "Holy crap! Holy crap! What did I just see?"

"What happened? I didn't see anything!"

"What's going on? Wasn't Xiong Rige the one attacking? How did he end up flying out?"

"I didn't see Lu Leng's move at all. All I saw was a flash, and then Xiong Rige was sent flying."

"This guy, he didn't even activate his soul ring, and he defeated Xiong Rige?!"

The crowd chattered incessantly, each person expressing their shock at the scene.

The quickest to react were the medical teachers, who rushed to Xiong Rige's side. He let out agonized screams as they performed emergency treatment, casting a healing spell before placing him on the stretcher and carrying him back to the infirmary.

Those close to Xiong Rige could clearly see that his arms hung limply over the edges of the stretcher, like boneless eels. Meanwhile, a deep gash had formed on his chest, and blood mixed with bits of flesh continuously spilled from the corner of his mouth.

"Did you see it?" In the distance, three young men and women stood together. One of them, a purple-haired woman, spoke with a grave expression.

"He drew his blade. His martial soul is a sword," said one of the three, his eyes closed. His brows were furrowed, and his ears were sharper than an ordinary person's, as if they could move.

"And you?" The purple-haired woman turned to another man, who was tall and slender but had the eyes of an eagle.

"Your martial soul is the Wind Eagle, and your visual nerves are highly developed. You should have been able to catch it, right?" the purple-haired woman continued.

"One purple, one black," said the man with the hawk-like eyes. His gaze was sharp, his pupils a golden hue, strikingly similar to the eyes of an eagle.

"What do you mean, one purple, one black?" The purple-haired woman was puzzled by his words.

"Soul Rings."

"Soul Rings?!" The purple-haired woman's breath caught in her throat, her eyes trembling as she looked at Lu Leng with a sudden surge of fear!

On the arena, Lu Leng was quite satisfied with the effect he had created.

In reality, given his current strength, the hawk-eyed man could easily see through his movements. But who was Lu Leng? He was a genius! With his brilliant talent, he had mastered his soul skills within just two months.

When he had just used the "Draw Sword Slash," he had combined it with his second soul skill, "Swallow Return Flash." The first stage of "Swallow Return Flash" was an extreme burst of speed, which could indirectly amplify the power of the "Draw Sword Slash." At the same time, by utilizing the second stage of "Swallow Return Flash," he could immediately teleport to an unexpected position after the slash.

'In this way, i created a shocking scene of 'You fell before I even made my move.'

At the same time, the coolness factor was off the charts!

Of course, if Lu Leng had used "Thunderbolt Wings" while executing the "Draw Sword Slash," even the hawk-eyed man wouldn't have been able to see through it.

Below the arena, Hu Liena's beautiful eyes sparkled, her small mouth slightly agape. "This guy is just too strong." Even though she had already estimated Lu Leng's strength, she was still stunned by his swift and decisive combat.

Before she had reached level 30, this "Xiong Rige" had fought her several times, and each time she had narrowly lost, making him a stumbling block in her path. But after breaking through to level 30, she was confident that Xiong Rige wouldn't last more than two rounds against her.

It had to be said that Lu Leng was constantly redefining her understanding.

"I hope he can keep this up," Hu Liena thought. With Lu Leng's current strength, she could already foresee what would happen next, and she could only pray for him.

Meanwhile, far away in the dean's office, three people stood by the window, from where they could clearly see everything happening on the arena.

"Who exactly is this child? With such high talent, he's only six years old and already at level 23, and his soul rings are terrifyingly one purple and one black!" Mimi breathing was heavy, clearly also shocked by Lu Leng.

"Oh? As his homeroom teacher, you don't know? He's the disciple of Her Holiness the Pope," said the middle-aged man, Zi Qingyang, with a hint of sarcasm. He was the homeroom teacher of the elite class in the advanced academy, and the so-called elite class was the preparatory class for the Saint's class, specifically providing high-quality students for the Saint's class.

Mimi was young, inexperienced, and her strength was lower than his, yet she had become the homeroom teacher of the Saint's class, which made the highly competitive Zi Qingyang very unhappy. Moreover, Mimi had always been someone he pursued but could never attain, which gradually twisted his mind, making his words increasingly snide.

"I've been busy breaking through to Soul Saint and searching for soul rings these past few days, so I've been a bit neglectful," Mimi admitted openly.

Hearing this, Zi Qingyang's expression shifted slightly. "Congratulations, Teacher Mi, on breaking through to the Soul Saint level. It's understandable that you might have been a bit neglectful at such a critical moment. Director Solus, I suggest that Teacher Mi take a few days off to rest and recuperate. The pressure has been immense, and this would also give her the peace of mind to focus on obtaining her soul ring. I can take over the Saint Class for a few days."

"No need, thank you for your kindness Teacher Zi. While finding a soul ring is indeed a significant matter, educating a group of outstanding students for the Martial Soul Academy is equally important," Mimi said coldly, refusing.
