"So I'll see you in three monts?" My girlfriend's voice sounded bad, as if she were holding back the tears that threatened to come out of her eyes.
"Yes, I already told you, we'll talk via video call when I get to the hotel, okay?" I said with a smile.
She just nodded with tears in her eyes and without warning she hugged me tightly, burying her face in my chest.
I could hear her sobbing softly, this would be the first time we would be apart for so long since...forever.
"Alek, take care, okay? Remember that even if you know English, it doesn't guarantee that you'll be able to manage on your own in Japan," my father said with a smile on his face, but I could hear the slight concern in his voice.
"Of course, but Miss Shiaori will serve as our translator," I told him and he nodded.
"Alek, we've already told you but-"
[Passengers on Flight 143, please begin boarding] A voice with a strong Indian accent sounded over one of the airport loudspeakers.
My mother's sentence was cut off in the middle and she looked at me with a grimace of a smile, apparently she wanted to cry too but was holding back.
"I love you my love, take care there okay? We'll throw you a big party when you get back" she managed to say and so the four of us hugged each other.
"Okay, it's time to go, Sara..." I mumbled my girlfriend's name and she looked into my eyes with a bitter expression.
"I-I love you...I'm going to miss you so much" she said as she pulled me into a passionate kiss.
She was not one to show her love in public, so now she must be very scared.
I kissed him back for about ten seconds until we separated and I took my bags.
"See you for Easter," I told them, and so they began to walk through the airport corridors.
When I turned around one of the areas of the place I could see out of the corner of my eye how my girlfriend was crying and hugging my mother while my father looked at me with pride and concern.
"I'll make sure your worries are just unfounded," I muttered to myself as I walked.
I had just turned 22 and had managed to get an internship at a programming company, but I would have to travel to Japan to get it.
Fortunately, thanks to my good grades, I wouldn't have to pay for round-trip travel and the company would cover my expenses to a certain extent, which is why I would have to save as much as I could, but for me that was no problem.
I had already talked about this with my parents six months before finishing my degree, at first they were against it after all I had never left the city or the state and now I wanted to go to another continent.
But after half a year of talks and showing the points in favor, they finally accepted.
My biggest problem was my girlfriend Sara, she and I have known each other since we were children and we became boyfriend and girlfriend at fifteen. In fact, I plan to propose to her when I get back, but everything in its own time.
Right now I was sitting on the window side of an airplane.
After waiting for twenty minutes the plane finally took off, I was a little scared at first but we took off without any worries.
After about three hours of traveling we finally reached the Atlantic and it was already night so I decided to sleep a little, if I was lucky I would sleep until a couple of hours before arriving in Japan.
(turbulence)
"hmm?!" I opened my eyes suddenly, apparently I had slept for an hour due to the tiredness I felt but the jolt had been too strong.
[Passengers please put on your seat belts we have entered a storm and there will be a couple of jolts] the pilot's voice came from the speakers and I put on my belt without thinking twice.
(crackling, turbulence)
"nnngh?!" Without warning the plane tilted forward and I felt ourselves begin to fall.
A downdraft...but this one is too strong!!
"aaagh!!" The masks were on the roof alley and I immediately put one on, I instinctively looked at the window but everything was dark.
No...a lightning bolt in the distance briefly illuminated the place showing the ocean and us falling towards it.
"!!!"
I felt a chill run down my spine. I was positioned in the middle of the plane, but in the event of an impact with the water at this speed, no place would be safe.
The lights went out and the plane began to spin.
The cries of despair of the people reached my ears, At some point I too had started screaming as my life flashed before my eyes
Mom, Dad... all the efforts they made to raise me, I had barely been able to begin to pay them back...
Sara...if only I had listened to you...
My house, my family, my friends, all of that passed through my mind in an instant
I instinctively clenched my jaw as I closed my eyes and...
I could feel the impact.
It was like falling into concentration and something immediately crushing your back, it was the last thing I felt, I didn't even have time to scream and the lights went out for me.
So it all ends like this?...no...
I don't want this! I want to live! I want to see my family again! I want to see my Sara! I don't want my life to be worthless!!
"..."
I don't know how much time passed, everything around me was dark and without any sound.
It was a complete, obsolete void that never ended.
Is this the end? Is this how it all ends?...
I don't know how much time passed after that, it could have been minutes, hours, or maybe days...
I don't know, but the place around me never changed a noise entered my ear.
"aaaaah!!!" It was a scream...a scream of pain from a woman.
I shuddered completely, this was the only sound I had heard in who knows how long and it was not good at all.
"Haaaa!!!" The woman's scream grew louder and apparently clearer.
Like a beast approaching me.
"Haaa!!!" The scream continued and I began to feel an intense pain in my head as if I was passing through a terribly narrow place and a light began to appear in front of my eyes.
"****!*
"*****...***!!"
"Hmm?!" Voices in a language I'd never heard before started to sound, it felt like I was underwater and someone was talking on the surface.
I was completely scared and the light in my eyes became much clearer and...
"Haaa...haaa...haa...*****"
"******!!!" I could see again...partially.
My entire vision was blurry and my whole body hurt, there were two shadows in front of me and one behind me.
I felt completely weak and my body felt sticky, it was blood, I recognized that feeling.
Have I survived? That would explain everything, but it doesn't seem that way.
The voices around me sounded like distant murmurs with words I couldn't hear, it wasn't Japanese, Dragon Ball didn't sound like that, and it wasn't English either.
Have I run aground on some foreign island?...
That's also a possibility but...
I felt like someone took me in their arms and they started passing a wet sheet over my whole body, apparently they were cleaning the blood off me, that's good.
Unfortunately I couldn't control any part of my body, that's how weak I was.
And also...a huge feeling of hunger invaded me, despite everything that had happened I was hungry.
The cleaning lasted a couple of minutes but I could feel those same arms reaching out to someone else and...hugging me?!
It felt strange, I also felt a terribly calloused hand caress my head, I could hear a woman shout reproachfully and a male voice respond irritably.
I didn't understand anything at all, the woman's hands were holding me with affection and love?
She was stroking my head gently and the next moment I could feel something white pressing against my lips.
I opened my eyes immediately only to not be able to see anything again but I could tell it was
The position of the hands, that spot that resembled his head, I was at the height of her shoulders...
This woman had put her breast in my face!!
But for some reason, instead of feeling offended or excited I felt relaxed, as if I had been waiting for this for a while.
Instinctively my hands moved and touched her breasts and my mouth opened.
I started sucking her nipples non-stop, hunger was killing me and all I could think about was sucking, surprisingly the milk came out of them and in less than a minute I fell asleep.
...
I don't know how much time passed after that, but I woke up suddenly and I was still in that woman's arms. I felt completely weak and I still couldn't see anything. I was completely defenseless.
"*****?..." The woman's voice was gentle and soft, I instinctively relaxed as she stroked my head.
I haven't had this feeling since I was a little boy with my mother.
So why do I feel this way, with this woman and after an accident?...
"aaagh!!" This is too confusing.
I didn't understand anything about what was happening.
"Wha...heep..."
"!!!" I tried to talk to the woman to ask where she was but I couldn't form any words.
Will I be paraplegic? Will I be brain dead?
No, that doesn't explain anything.
Shortly after two shadows came into the room and I could feel it, all of them were looking at me.
The shadows murmured things I didn't understand and my body didn't obey me.
At first I thought this was a hospital or something but my doubts were cleared again when I felt the woman's breasts again in my face.
There was no point in continuing to look for further explanations.
What did the Buddhists call it?...
Reincarnation...I had been reincarnated into a baby for no apparent reason and I didn't know where I was.
But if that's the case, what will happen to my family? What will happen to Sara? What will happen to the life I had already built in those two decades?!...
***
Two weeks passed and my vision finally cleared.
I was in some kind of wooden house or cabin and the woman who I assume is my mother put me in a wooden box with sheets underneath and on top of me.
I didn't know where I was or why I was here, the most I could see were some snow-covered pine trees through the half-open window in the corner of the room.
The woman who appeared to be my mother is a woman with strong blue hair and eyes.
She had a toned appearance but not too much.
My father on the other hand, was a very tall, muscular man with brown hair.
He had a scar on his cheek and always carried a divinely decorated sword at his waist.
Was he now in medieval Europe?...
No, natural blue hair doesn't exist and the language isn't like any I've heard before.
I spent almost all my time in that wooden crib without being able to look at anything but the wooden roof and listen to the breeze of the outside air.
I couldn't understand anything they were saying, but the way my mother looked at me and the way my father's face relaxed when he saw me breathing without problems...
At least I can say that they love me.
But there is something that caught my attention the most, a word, a single word that they repeat every time they are with me or address me.
They always use the word "Jino"
