Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Trash Young Master

"He's finally awake."

A voice pierced Xiao Tian's ears like a mosquito's buzz. He groaned, rolling over on a hard wooden bed that creaked louder than a rusty gate.

"Tch. What a disgrace. Our sect really accepted this trash?"

Opening one eye, Xiao Tian saw the blurry face of a sneering youth standing beside him. His hair was slicked back like an oil merchant, and he held a fan he definitely didn't know how to use.

Xiao Tian blinked. "You look like a failed background character from a bad romance novel."

The room went silent.

"Y-You dare speak to me like that?! I'm Senior Disciple Lin Feng, the number-one outer disciple of Moonwind Sect!"

Xiao Tian sat up slowly, examining his surroundings. A small wooden room, some cheap robes on the wall, a cracked mirror, and this "Senior Disciple" who looked like a third-rate clown trying to act first-class.

"Moonwind Sect?" Xiao Tian muttered. "Sounds like a discount brothel."

"You—!!" Lin Feng flushed red and stormed out, mumbling curses. "Just wait until the Sect Master hears of this, you dog!"

Xiao Tian stretched, popping his joints. He felt… weak. His body was indeed mortal. No trace of spiritual power flowed within him. His Qi was nonexistent, and his dantian felt like an empty well. But his instincts were still sharp. And his arrogance? Unshaken.

A soft knock interrupted his thoughts.

"Um… I brought you food," came a timid voice.

The door creaked open. A girl stepped in—plain robe, gentle face, carrying a tray with a humble bowl of rice and pickled radish. Her eyes widened as she saw Xiao Tian awake.

"You're… not dead?"

Xiao Tian tilted his head. "Why, were you hoping I was?"

"No! I mean… you've been unconscious for three days after getting beaten up by Lin Feng and falling down the mountain. Everyone thought you wouldn't wake up…"

He blinked. Ah, so that's the body's backstory. A trash young master with no talent, no support, and no luck—until now.

"Thanks for the food," he said with a charming smile that could make a nun question her vows. "And your name, angel of breakfast?"

The girl turned pink. "I-it's Mei'er. I'm just a servant disciple…"

"Well, Mei'er, I don't know much about this world right now, but I do know one thing." Xiao Tian leaned forward, flashing that roguish smirk. "I'm going to rise to the top. And when I do, remind me to promote you to Head of Sweetness."

Mei'er blinked. "Head of… what?"

"Don't worry about it. Just keep feeding me and smiling like that. You're good for my Qi."

Scene Cut: Outer Disciple Grounds – Moonwind Sect

Lin Feng paced in front of a small group of disciples. "He dared insult me! Trash like him should be thrown off the cliff again!"

One of the cronies chuckled. "Should we cripple him this time, Senior Brother?"

Lin Feng snapped his fan open. "No. We'll wait until tomorrow's trial. He'll be forced to spar—and when he loses, he'll be kicked from the sect legally."

The disciples laughed, already imagining the humiliation.

Back in Xiao Tian's Room

As night fell, Xiao Tian stared at the moon.

"This body is weak, but my soul is immortal," he whispered. "The heavens may have banished me—but I'll turn their world upside down. And I'll enjoy every damn moment of it."

He smirked. "Let's start with this 'Moonwind Sect.' First, I'll take their women. Then, their techniques. Then... maybe their treasury."
