Chapter 15 - CHAPTER 15 : HEALING HANDS

"Okay, now I'm going to show you an incantation. Watch closely as I do it," Shina said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She stretched out her hand towards Takahishi, her voice gentle. "Give me your hand, Takahishi."

Takahishi's face lit up with a goofy grin as he handed over his hand. He felt a flutter in his chest as Shina's soft fingers wrapped around his. She gently opened his palm, her touch sending shivers down his spine.

But before Takahishi could even process what was happening, Shina whipped out a small knife and swiftly slit his palm. Thick, red blood started flowing like a river out of his hand, and Takahishi's eyes went wide with shock.

"Ahhhhhh!" he screamed at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing off the walls. "What the...?! Why did you do that, Shina?!"

Crinix watched in confusion, his brow furrowed. "Hey, relax Takahishi, it's part of the spell," Shina said, her voice calm and soothing. But Takahishi was beyond reason.

He jumped up, his eyes wild with panic. "You're trying to kill me, Shina! There's blood everywhere! My blood!"

Crinix rolled his eyes, a hint of amusement on his face. "Takahishi, don't be a crybaby," he whispered, trying to stifle a grin.

But Takahishi was having none of it. "She's trying to kill me, Crinix! Help!"

Shina sighed, a hint of exasperation on her face. She stepped forward, her hand raised, and slapped Takahishi across the face.

Takahishi's eyes went wide, his mouth hanging open in shock. "Ouch!" he whispered, his eyes glued to Shina's face.

The slap seemed to knock some sense into Takahishi, and he slowly began to calm down. Shina's expression softened, her eyes gentle. "Give me your hand, Takahishi," she said, her voice calm.

Takahishi hesitated for a moment, his eyes darting to the knife still clutched in Shina's hand. But then he slowly stretched out his hand, his eyes fixed on Shina's face.

Shina took his hand gently, her fingers wrapping around his. She placed her other hand on top of his, her eyes closed in concentration. "Divine Healing " she muttered, her voice barely audible.

A soft, blue glow emanated from Shina's hand, and Takahishi felt a strange, tingling sensation. He watched in amazement as the wound on his hand began to heal, the torn flesh slowly reattaching itself.

In a few minutes, Takahishi's hand was completely healed, the wound vanished without a trace. He stared at his hand in awe, his eyes wide with wonder.

"What just happened?" he whispered, his voice full of amazement.

Shina chuckled, a hint of mischief on her face. "I just healed your hand, Takahishi. You should be more careful in the future."

Takahishi's face turned bright red, his eyes darting to Crinix's face. "Yeah, yeah, I'll try to be more careful," he muttered, his voice sheepish.

Crinix grinned, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I think you should be more careful, Takahishi. You never know when Shina might whip out her knife again."

Takahishi's eyes went wide, his face pale. "Hey, don't remind me!" he exclaimed, his voice full of mock horror.

The three of them burst out laughing, the tension in the room dissipating. As they laughed, Takahishi couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the magic that Shina had just performed. He had never seen anything like it before, and he couldn't wait to learn more.

"It's magic, Takahishi, just believe it," Shina said with a gentle smile, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. She turned to Crinix, her expression softening with concern. "Um, hey Crinix, is your body still hurting?"

Crinix's gaze met hers, his eyes clouding over with a hint of pain. "Yeah, but a little," he admitted, his voice low and rough.

Shina's face lit up with a warm smile. "That's great. Um, you know, I could heal your injuries as well, if you want." Her voice was laced with a hint of nervousness, her eyes darting to the side as her cheeks flushed a delicate pink.

Crinix's gaze locked onto hers, his eyes searching for any sign of hesitation. "Okay," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

Shina's eyes snapped back to his, her face still flushed with color. "Um, you really mean it?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.

Crinix nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, I mean it. My body still hurts, and I think I broke a bone. I don't see the point in trying to hide it, because the pain is killing me."

Shina's face softened with compassion, her eyes filled with a deep concern. She nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. "Okay, let me help you."

Crinix smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. He turned his back to Shina, his shirt slipping off his shoulders as he revealed a canvas of multiple scratches and wounds. Takahishi's eyes widened in horror, his face scrunched up in distaste. "Eww, that's gross!"

Shina's hands hovered over Crinix's back, her fingers tracing the lines of his wounds. A soft, blue glow emanated from her hands, and Crinix's wounds began to heal before their very eyes. In just a few minutes, all the scratches and wounds had vanished, leaving Crinix's back smooth and unblemished.

Shina stepped back, her eyes shining with a warm smile. "I'm done," she said, her voice filled with satisfaction.

Crinix stood up, his shirt slipping back over his shoulders. Shina's eyes landed on the red gem pendant necklace hanging around his neck, and her eyes widened in surprise. "Nice necklace," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Crinix's gaze met hers, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Thanks," he whispered, his voice low and rough.

Shina's eyes lingered on the pendant, her expression softening with curiosity. "Where did you get it?" she asked, her voice gentle.

Crinix's gaze dropped, his eyes avoiding hers. Shina's eyes narrowed, her expression intrigued. "Can I see it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Crinix hesitated for a moment, his eyes darting to Takahishi before returning to Shina. He let out a soft sigh, his fingers reaching for the pendant. "Sure," he whispered, pulling out the necklace from under his shirt.

Shina's eyes lit up with excitement, her hands reaching out to take the pendant. Her fingers brushed against Crinix's, sending a spark of electricity through both of them. Shina's eyes snapped up to Crinix's, her gaze locking onto his. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the air thick with tension.

Shina's cheeks flushed a deep pink, her eyes darting to the side as she tried to break the spell. But Crinix's gaze held hers, his eyes burning with an inner intensity. Shina's heart skipped a beat, her pulse racing with excitement.

Suddenly, she stumbled backwards, her feet tangling with Takahishi's legs. She let out a soft cry, her arms flailing wildly as she struggled to regain her balance. Crinix's hands shot out, grasping her wrists as he pulled her back up. Shina's eyes met his, her gaze locking onto his once more.

For a moment, they just stared at each other, the air thick with tension. Shina's heart pounded in her chest, her pulse racing with excitement. She felt a spark of electricity run through her veins, her body tingling with awareness.

Crinix's eyes burned with an inner intensity, his gaze holding hers captive. Shina felt like she was drowning in the depths of his eyes, her heart sinking with a strange, thrilling sensation.

Takahishi's voice cut through the tension, his eyes wide with confusion. "Uh, guys, what's going on here?" he asked, his voice awkward.

Shina's cheeks flushed a deep pink, her eyes darting to the side as she tried to break the spell.
