[RESTRICTED DOCUMENT]

FILE: EXPERIMENT 1990

Status: Project Terminated/subject Relocated.

Facility: Blackreach Biogenetic Institute (Now Defunct)

Date of Origin: 13.04.2010

Subject Identifier: EXP-1990

[PHYSICAL PROFILE]

Height: 165 cm

Weight: 42.6 kg

Ocular Pigmentation: Erythrous (unstable melanocytic express)

Dermal Characteristics: Fair skin with muted undertone. Texture described as unnaturally smooth and free from blemishes; Pigmentation and morphology suggests non-standard epithelial development.

Notable Anatomical Markers:

– Keloid scarring posterior to left auricle

– Superficial burn remnants along thoracic vertebrae and carpal regions.

– Evidence of accelerated tissue regeneration.

[BEHAVIORAL OBSERVATIONS]

– Subject presents with pronounced antisocial traits, including emotional disengagement, affective flattening and predatory behavioral cues.

– Demonstrates advanced mimicry and manipulative communication patterns.

– Psychological profile indicates instability, counterbalanced by elevated cognitive performance (above 98th percentile on abstract reasoning assessment)

–Exhibits acute hyper-reactivity under perceived threat conditions.

– Incident Report BR-1990-C: Subject lethally engaged all personnel in Laboratory Wing C during a 17-minute lapse in containment protocols.

– Risk Classification: Level RED; conditional viability for court field utilization under maximum supervision.

-[NEUROLOGICAL ENHANCEMENT SUMMARY]

Procedure: Subject was subjected to 12 incremental phases of serum-based neurogenetic enhancement

Observed Enhancements:

• Expanded sensory acuity (particularly auditory and visual ranges)

• Significantly increased nociceptive threshold

• Initiation of localized regenerative processes

• Manifestation of supra-physiological muscular output

Documented Adverse Effects:

• Neural overstimulation and subsequent degradation

• Suppression of affective response

• Disinhibited and erratic decision-making tendencies

Mr Callahan sifted through the file Steven had recovered, his expression darkening as he read through the girl's scientific report. His eyes remained fixed on the pages–cold, blue– irises scanning each line with growing unease.

His assistant, Steven, stood silently in the doorway, watching his boss absorb the contents. Without waiting for any further prompt, he continued his briefing.

"I obtained the file through the black-market archive of decommissioned experimental programs," he reported, his tone crisp and professional. "Turns out, the Blackreach Biogenetic Institute was never just a genetic research center. It was a covert experimental lab. The original owner of the institute hasn't been identified yet, but I got the information from the anonymous person who recommended the girl to me."

He stepped forward, standing at ease with his hands crossed behind his back. "In truth, the institute specialized in human augmentation and neutral enhancement. Their goal was to create the perfect weapon using children. They take and modify orphans to heighten their senses and reflexes. Designed to be something more. What makes the girl capable is that she is immune to pain, and has more than enough capabilities to deal with the ones who tortured the late Miss to the point of driving her to her death."

Callahan's brow furrowed when Steven finished speaking. The Blackreach institute had long been rumored about since the questionable fall of the institute in Aurelis city. Some claimed it was where monsters were made, not born.

The revelation of the Blackreach institute held several speculations concerning the government. Rumors once swirled that the government planned to unleash the gifted (experimented) ones as weapons– to orchestrate a mass extermination in Aurelis city, thinning the human population under the guise of control.

Such things were called a massacre in the darkest corners of conversation. But the whispers died quickly.

The government denied everything in public, stating that the Blackreach institute was a genetic nonsense or whatever excuse they cooked up, and just like that, the truth was buried. The explosion that occurred claimed to have had no survivors, so the evidence was destroyed as well. Either the horrors of the Blackreach institute were forgotten, or forcibly ignored.

Now, with the presence of this girl's existence and her file, which clearly states she was an experiment 1990 in the Blackreach institute, Callahan's long-dormant suspicion would have flared to life. But right now, in his depressed state, nothing else mattered than getting revenge for his daughter.

Beyond the info he had gotten concerning the government's secret, he had to make sure the girl was stable enough to carry out his revenge, or else, he would rid her of his home, since he'll have no use for her.

"Where is she?" Callahan finally asked, turning his gaze toward Steven. There was something different about his presence now– something darker since the death of his daughter, and Steven could not bring himself to put a word to it. The weight of it pressed on Steven's chest, and he swallowed his nerves.

"In the hallway," he managed to say.

"Bring her in."

Steven hesitated for only a second, his eyes widening at the abruptness of his boss's command. However, he didn't dare to voice his thoughts and politely slipped out to fulfill his boss's command.

Left alone, Callahan reached for the adoption file Steven had delivered earlier. The one that officially named the girl his daughter. His fingers hovered over the folder a moment before opening it. Though there was evidence that proved his precious daughter was bullied in school, he didn't want to deal with it legally. Not even the legal actions would satisfy him in terms of what those devils did to his only daughter, the only family he had left. He had come to the realization that– to deal with a devil, one had to become the devil's match. Hence, he was going to take matters into his own hands, and he intended to use his new daughter to achieve that.

His head snapped up when Steven returned, but with the girl trailing beside him. She looked even younger than her supposed age, probably due to her lack of nourishment, but there was nothing innocent about her.

The girl was draped in a sleek black coat with blood-red lining, and combat boots polished to a shine. She wore a pleated skirt that swayed with each calculated step, and around her neck was a choker with a small silver blade charm.

Ignoring Steven who was about to warn her to behave, she stepped forward like she owned the place, her crimson eyes locking onto Callahan's cold blue ones. Then she grinned, the smile wide and unnerving.

"Let's cut to the chase, big Daddy," she said sweetly. "Why was I adopted?"
