Things went on normally for few weeks. The game Mitchelle introduced to Irene was making her crazy. Lately, she had a new online friend for the game. They didn't answer their real names in that game so Irene's name was VISO and the new friend's name was SPICE. Irene really liked spice although they didn't physics kTnow each other. Spice could be from another state or even country but she enjoyed the game with her. It turned out that spice enjoyed the same violent games she loved in city games. They were always partners and they definitely kicked others butts. I'm was always on her phone. Something that wasn't her habit. According to her, the game was killing it. Everyone was okay, well until a Tuesday afternoon when Irene and Ann got news that the school management wanted to see them. It was odd because they had never done anything to come across them. They were shocked to find out that they knew about what they were up to and they had proof, the picture. Irene's life was basically over. There was nothing to deny. There and then they were sent packing. Irene was fuming with anger. She was ready to kill Mitchelle and even go to jail for it as long as we she ended her life. She angrily barged into the room and Mitchelle was on her bed.
"Mitchelle Start explaining" Mitchelle sat up and she was confused.
"Explain what?"
"Now yu you're acting like you don't know"
"I can't believe you still sold us after collecting two thousand dollars. How could you?" Ann said with tears in her eyes
"What? No, I didn't. I swear" Irene jacked her up from the bed
"You're gonna die today, trust me " She threatened. Just then Mitchelle remembered that she didn't delete that picture.
"Oh my God I'm so sorry, I forgot to delete that picture so someone must have seen it and reported"
"Who?" Ann asked
"I don't know, I've given the camera to a lot of people "
"Do you know what you've just done to me? My whole life is gonna wash down the drain just because of this. What do you want me to do now? Tell me "
"I'm sorry" Mitchelle apologized. Irene was angry but she didn't know how to start dealing with her. She couldn't harm her so she just had to release her and went to think about her life. They packed up their things and before they left, Mitchelle had to apologize because she didn't know that it'll end up that way.
"It's okay. It has already happened" Ann said
"Yeah, forget about it " Irene added. Ann turned to Irene
"I'll miss you "
"Me too" They kissed for the last time and hugged each other very tightly for a long time before they separated. Irene wiped off the tears from Ann's face with her thumb.
"Promise me you'll never forget me" Ann said
"How can I ?" Irene smiled at her. Not long after that, they left the campus and went home. Actually, only Ann did. Irene didn't bother going back home. She imagined how heartbroken her parents would be and decided not to. Instead, she went to Ken's place. She explained everything that happened to him and he felt for her. He accepted to take care of her and allowed her to stay as long as she wanted but Irene wasn't planning to see stay with him for long. It was just for the meantime. She just needed help with some money so that she would go live with her brother instead and ken supported her with more than enough money.
There was something that Irene didn't know. Kendra had some arrangements and offered Ann help by asking her to get some money and she was able to get Ann back into the university. Ann was very happy with Kendra. That was the best thing she had ever done for her since they became friends. Ann tried to convince her to help her out with Irene too but she lied that she only had one opportunity and she used it for her. Ann just had to let it go since there was nothing she could do. Ever since then, they became best of friends. They did their fashion blogs together, went out for shows and modelled together. It was a wonderful bliss. Meanwhile,on Irene's part, she had already located Kevin. He was very surprised to see her but he let her in anyways.
"What did you do this time?"
"What do you mean? Can't I just decide to visit my own brother? "
"The semester is not yet over and your school can't let you back till it is. The only explanation now is either suspension or expulsion. So which is it?"
"Expulsion " Kevin sighed and said
"I knew it. How come? Who did you kill this time?"
"I didn't kill anybody okay "
" Then what happened?" Irene opened up to him and he was very disappointed.
"Can you ever stay without being chased from a school ?"
"It wasn't my fault "
"Then whose fault was it? This stupid tomboy thing is really giving you problems. Why can't you be a normal girl like others?"
"Cause I'm not a normal girl Kevin "
"And you think I don't know that?" He kept silent for a while thinking of what to do.
"Does mum know about this?"
"No"
"Good cause she'll be totally shattered"
"If I didn't know that would I have come to you for help?"
"How will I keep hiding you? You'll have to come home one day "
"I can't "
"So you'll run away?"
"Maybe, I just need a new life "
"And what happens when she finds out that you're not coming home? She'll think you're missing and that will still trouble her "
"I don't know Kevin. I guess she'll have to deal with it "
"Okay then, do whatever you want. You're an adult. I expect you to start taking up responsibility and just know that if you're gonna stay here, you'll have to get a job."
"Fine, it's not like there's anything more I can do" She fully packed in and with time, she got used to his well furnished apartment. She was able to find a job in a club as a waitress. At least it was a start but she still played that city games and wrote her novels for the company. She began a whole new life. It wasn't easy being away from home but she had to cope. It was like she had opened into a whole new chapter of her life. One full of hopes and dreams, risks and coincidences, accidents and tribulations.
