Chapter 1 - The Four Flowers of Konoha Join the Chat

World of Naruto – Hidden Leaf Village (Konoha)

In a small room barely ten square meters in size, Shin lay sprawled across a bed, his expression filled with hopelessness.

He had transmigrated into another world!

A cause for celebration, right?

Wrong.

He had no kekkei genkai, no connections, and no resources to speak of.

To be reborn as just another ordinary student at the Ninja Academy—with nothing to his name—and in the same graduating class as the "Rookie Nine"? That was nothing short of a disaster. In the original story, Kakashi had said that there were twenty-seven students in Naruto's graduating class, but only nine of them became genin. In other words, all the rest were weeded out.

Even if Shin re-enrolled and graduated later, he would've already missed his window for any meaningful development. His potential would be overlooked and forgotten. Worst of all, the graduation exam had already taken place—and team assignments were tomorrow. He didn't even have a chance to turn things around.

"I'm done. Let the world burn. I don't care anymore."

Right now, Shin just wanted to drift aimlessly. His future as a ninja looked absolutely bleak.

---

[Ding! System successfully activated. "Fiction System" at your service!]

Suddenly, the near-lifeless Shin bolted upright, his face lighting up with wild joy.

"I knew I was chosen by fate!"

"If I've been reborn in another world, how could I possibly remain a background character?!"

"A system has arrived! Now let me ask: IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN STOP ME?!"

After reveling in his triumph for a good thirty seconds, Shin remembered the important part and called out mentally: "System, explain your functions!"

---

[Ding! This system opens a mental chatroom and will periodically add ninja girls from this world at random.]

[Once a participant joins the chat, the Host can fabricate a future connected to her. The fictional content will become reality.]

[However, the Host must note: the fabricated future must be logical and is subject to alteration.]

---

Shin carefully processed the explanation and quickly got a grasp of the system's functions.

A chatroom—filled exclusively with kunoichi? Not bad. Sounded like a harem starter pack. But the real gem was the ability to invent the future! As long as the story made sense, he could create anything—and it would come true.

Take Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, for example. If she joined the chat, he could create a scenario where, upon her unsealing, the first person she saw was Shin. Memories would surge back—revealing that Shin had once traveled to the past and met her long before the ninja era. They fell in love, had two children—ahem, minor detail—but most importantly, she shared her power with him before he returned to the present, now unimaginably powerful.

Perfectly logical, right? It didn't break canon, made him OP, and left no room for unexpected consequences. That was how to use the Fiction System.

"I really am a genius," Shin thought. Maybe his kekkei genkai was his brain after all.

---

[Ding! Chat activated. System is selecting new participants, please wait…]

[Ding! New participants selected. Adding to chat…]

[Ding! Haruno Sakura has joined the chat!]

[Ding! Yamanaka Ino has joined the chat!]

[Ding! Hyuga Hinata has joined the chat!]

[Ding! Tenten has joined the chat!]

Whoa! The Four Flowers of Konoha?! He'd just pulled the entire collection on his first draw?

Not bad. The more participants, the more options to mold the future.

As he stared at the girls' names popping up one by one in the chat, Shin was already brainstorming their future storylines.

---

Sakura had just been lounging at home, daydreaming about her new life as a ninja starting tomorrow, when her vision suddenly blurred, and a strange interface appeared in her mind. Simultaneously, she heard odd system-like notifications in her ears.

---

[Ding! Haruno Sakura has successfully joined "Shin's Heroine Chat." Congratulations, you are now a member of Shin's heroine group. Please observe the following rules:]

1. Shin is the Administrator (Host) of this chat. The Administrator's interests are paramount. Participants are strictly forbidden from taking any action against the Administrator.

2. Participants must live in harmony. Scheming and harming each other is prohibited.

3. Future video clips may appear in the chat. All footage is true and should not be questioned.

4. Participants may receive positive effects—enhancing traits like talent, perception, combat ability, etc. The higher your loyalty to the Administrator, the stronger the effect.

5. You may leave the chat at any time, but your memories of it will be erased.

---

[Haruno Sakura: ???!!!]

Meanwhile, Ino—dozing at the family flower shop; Hinata—secretly training in her backyard; and Tenten—just back from a mission and preparing for a bath—all experienced the exact same thing.

Having never read webnovels or dealt with transmigration, the sudden system notifications threw them into confusion. Their first instinct was that it must be a genjutsu, and they tried dispelling it immediately. A modern person might've recognized the signs and cheered, "I'm the chosen one!" But these kunoichi? They were mystified. Their genjutsu-dispelling attempts, of course, failed.

---

[Yamanaka Ino: Forehead Girl?]

[Haruno Sakura: Ugh, shut up, Ino-Pig! You're annoying even in genjutsu!]

[Hyuga Hinata: Um… this might not be a genjutsu.]

[Yamanaka Ino: Want to meet up and figure this out?]

[Hyuga Hinata: Sure, where?]

[Yamanaka Ino: Let's meet at the dessert café on the shopping street. My treat!]

[Haruno Sakura: Ooh, free sweets? I'm on my way!]

[Tenten: So you all know each other?]

[Yamanaka Ino: Oh, yeah. Who are you?]

[Tenten: I'm a genin from Konoha, graduated last year. My jonin instructor is Might Guy.]

[Yamanaka Ino: A senpai?! We just graduated. We're classmates. Team assignments are tomorrow.]

[Haruno Sakura: You just blurted all that out…]

[Tenten: Because this isn't a genjutsu. Looks like we're chatting remotely somehow. Since we're all from Konoha, I think we can trust each other.]

[Hyuga Hinata: Tenten-senpai, please come too. This chat feels… strange. I tried telling my family, but I couldn't get the words out.]

[Tenten: I was about to say the same thing!]

---

Shin could see everything happening in the chat. But he quickly discovered that he couldn't send messages himself. The participants weren't aware of his presence—he was like a ghost.

Still, that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Since they didn't know he was watching, they'd speak more freely. That meant he could observe and plan accordingly.

For example, now that he knew the Four Flowers were meeting at the café, he cast a Transformation Jutsu to disguise himself as a random passerby and rushed over ahead of them. It was crucial to assess their reactions and behavior now—right after joining the chat.

He ordered a dessert, found a dimly lit corner booth, and waited for the Four Flowers of Konoha to arrive. Meanwhile, his mind kept spinning with ideas for shaping their future.

Three of them—Sakura, Ino, and Hinata—were his classmates. Whatever happened next, this window of time before the team assignments was his chance to make a move. If he wanted to rewrite his fate, he had to act now.
