I am going to ask you an out-of-the-world question. Aren't we all going to come to the point of actually dying, someday? Everything in this world has an end. When that happens, do you think you are… 100% sure that you are going to Heaven?
If yes, you may comment your reason (I'm just curious) but if no, or 50-50, you may continue reading. What I will be sharing is about the Bible ONLY, not about ANY religion or other opinion.
There are only two things to be 100% sure of going to Heaven someday (according to the Bible):
Confess and repent for our sins (1 John 1:9. We are all sinners, there's no perfect individual, Romans 3:23) Through prayer, accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior from Hell. Romans 10:13 (We sinners are supposed to go there but He paid our debt, Romans 6:23)
Jesus Christ's sacrifice to pay for our sins and His offer of eternal life in Heaven is a gift. You only need to accept it. It is not a reward for us to be deserving of. Are you ready to accept His gift? Follow this prayer:
DEAR LORD, I THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KNOW THAT I AM A SINNER AND SUPPOSEDLY HEADED TO HELL SOMEDAY, BUT I THANK YOU FOR JESUS CHRIST WHO DIED, WAS BURIED, AND RESSURECTED TO PAY FOR MY SINS INSTEAD. AT THIS MOMENT, I AM CONFESSING AND REPENTING FOR MY SINS, PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR ALL OF IT. I NOW ACCEPT YOU AS MY LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR FROM HELL. I THANK YOU, LORD, ONCE AGAIN. I PRAY THIS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, AMEN.
John 1:12 says that whoever accepts Him is given the right to become His son. Hence, you are now His son. A son lives in his father's house, right? Thus, when we die, we will return to His home in Heaven. (yes, not everyone is a son of God, John 8:44) These are all promises of God, as these were written in His Holy Word. The Lord never forgets His promises, as He is perfect. We only need to hold onto HIS promises so we can be confident to go to Heaven someday. Thank you so much for reading!
