Hiroshi swiftly used Shunpo to dodge the Cloud ninja's Water Barrage. Immediately after, he unleashed a Byakurai from his hand, aiming at the water stream the Cloud ninja had spat out. The intense heat of the White Thunder evaporated the water, replenishing the mist in the air.
Hiroshi knew he absolutely couldn't let the mist dissipate. After all, he was relying on the mist to obscure the environment and prevent the Cloud ninja from seeing clearly—this was his only chance to fight back.
"Hado Number One - Sho!" Hiroshi continued to use Hado to attack the Cloud ninja from a distance.
After each attack, he would move to a different location, making it impossible for the Cloud ninja to pinpoint his exact position.
The Cloud ninja was on the verge of a mental breakdown. Initially, he thought the hardest part of kidnapping this five-year-old brat would be getting him out of the Hidden Leaf Village. But now, he had managed to bring the kid out, only to find that the brat was incredibly cunning and not weak in combat. The chase had dragged on for so long—he couldn't catch the kid, but leaving wasn't an option either. If he failed the mission, he would face severe punishment upon returning. This situation was beyond frustrating.
"Hey, you big oaf from the Cloud Village. Aren't you a Jonin? Is this all a Jonin is capable of? You can't even handle a five-year-old kid. If I were you, I'd be crying and running home to my mommy by now," Hiroshi taunted.
"You little brat! Come out here!" the Cloud ninja roared, his eyes bloodshot as he stood in the mist, his patience completely shattered.
"Hmph, lost your temper? Guess it's time to finish this," Hiroshi sneered, a mocking smile on his face.
"Gentle Fist!" Hiroshi used Shunpo again to close the distance to the Cloud ninja.
The Cloud ninja was startled and quickly raised his arms to block. But instead of the expected punch, he was met with a powerful kick to his stomach. The force of the kick sent him flying into the air.
Ugh! Blood sprayed from his mouth as he was still mid-air.
"You little brat! You'll pay! You'll pay! I thought you're gonna punched me! What the hell was that kick?! You... you're cheating! Young people these days have no martial ethics!"
"You're just too stupid, Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms!"
Hiroshi unleashed the Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms, a relentless barrage of attacks that rained down on the Cloud ninja like a storm.
The Cloud ninja, still in mid-air and unable to land, was bombarded with the continuous strikes of the Thirty-Two Palms. Each palm strike disrupted the flow of chakra in his body, rendering him unable to use techniques to evade.
Boom! The final strike landed, and Hiroshi finished the sequence.
After the Thirty-Two Palms, the Cloud ninja's body crashed heavily to the ground, blood gushing from his mouth.
"Looks like you don't have the strength to capture me anymore. So, it seems I've won this battle, haven't I? Mighty Jonin of the Cloud Village," Hiroshi said mockingly as he looked down at the fallen ninja.
"Damn it... damn it! This was supposed to be a smooth operation... how did it end up like this? I can't accept this!" The Cloud ninja lay on the ground, vomiting blood, his face filled with resentment as he shouted at Hiroshi .
"The victor becomes the king, and the loser becomes the villain. Since you chose to cause trouble in the Leaf Village, you should have been prepared to face death when you failed. So, do you have any last words? If not, then it's time for you to die," Hiroshi said coldly to the Cloud ninja.
"Last words? Hah! I've been on missions all these years and haven't had much time to take care of my family. I have a three-year-old daughter. Could I... could I ask you..."
The Clound Ninja voice grew weaker and weaker, almost inaudible.
"Ask me what?" Hiroshi leaned down close to the Ninja, bending over him.
"I want to ask you to die!" The Cloud Ninja, who should have been lying half-dead on the ground, suddenly raised his head and thrust a kunai toward Hiroshi chest.
Thud!
Bang!
Two sounds echoed simultaneously.
Hiroshi right hand held a katana, which pierced through The Clound Ninja back and went through his heart, and plunged deep into the ground.
On the other side, The Clound Ninja kunai thrust forward but was blocked in front of Hiroshi chest by Hiroshi left hand, with a glowing shield on its back that had intercepted the attack.
This was "Bakudo Number Eight - Seki," a technique that creates a spiritual shield on the back of the hand to block attacks.
"What... where did you get that sword?"
The Clound Ninja looked at the blade protruding from his chest, confused.
Of course, he wouldn't know that Hiroshi possessed a system storage, allowing him to retrieve items anytime, anywhere.
"You think I'd be foolish enough to tell you?" Hiroshi sneered.
"Alright, game over. You can die in peace now!" With that, Hiroshi twisted the blade, shattering The Cloud Ninja heart.
"Ugh..." The Cloud Ninja spat out his last mouthful of blood, then collapsed limply to the ground, his eyes wide with unwillingness as he died.
"Phew... finally, it's over," Hiroshi storing his sword back to the system storage and stood up.
This battle was Hiroshi first battle in this world and one that nearly cost him his life. If he hadn't suddenly thought to use mist to obscure the enemy's vision, he might have been taken out in one go.
"That Cloud ninja are all battle-hardened. Even though I now have intermediate spiritual pressure, my combat experience is still lacking. Facing these seasoned Jonin, one misstep could mean disaster," Hiroshi stretched stiffly.
"Ouch... that hurts." Now that the tension of battle had subsided, Hiroshi accidentally aggravated the wound on his arm. During the fight, he hadn't noticed it, but now a searing pain shot through him.
"This wound won't stop bleeding. I need to treat it. Oh right, I just got the beginner Kaido from the sign-in. Perfect timing to test it out." Hiroshi walked over to a large tree, sat down, and placed his right hand on the wound, activating Kaido.
As Kaido took effect, a faint white light shimmered on Hiroshi right hand, illuminating the wound. The bleeding soon stopped, and the injury began to heal itself.
"Hmm... Kaido is pretty powerful, huh? And this is just the basic level. If I reach advanced Kaido, I might be able to heal instantly," Hiroshi thought, quite satisfied with the results.
"Huh? Someone's here?"
Hiroshi ears twitched as he heard someone rapidly approaching through the woods. He instantly stood up, assuming a combat stance.
"Who could it be? Someone from Konoha or remnants of the Cloud Shinobi?" Hiroshi pondered in his heart. If it were someone from Konoha, that would be fine, but if it were from Kumogakure, things could turn dire. Hiroshi had just endured a grueling battle and was already at the end of his strength.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! In the next moment, several figures appeared before Hiroshi.
" Hiroshi, you're safe, that's great!" The newcomer looked at Hiroshi with a joyful expression and spoke. It was his father, Hiashi Hyuga, along with several Anbu from Konoha.
Seeing the familiar faces, Hiroshi finally let down his guard.
