"This place feels... kinda strange," Kaelion thought to himself as he wandered the unfamiliar streets.
Suddenly, a loud voice called out to him.
Merchant: "Hey, kid! Wanna buy something for just 10 coins? Very cheap and super useful!"
Kaelion: "No thank you, sir... I don't have any money."
He kept walking, but before long, he ran into trouble.
Three rough-looking people blocked his path.
Person 1: "Hey kid, hand over everything you got, and maybe we won't hurt you."
Person 2: "Yeah, you heard him! I know you heard him, I know, I know!" he said, twitching nervously.
Kaelion: "Look, I don't want any trouble..."
Person 3: "Give us all your money. NOW!"
Kaelion: "Help!"
Person 2: "Huh? You wanna die, kid?" he growled, stepping closer.
Suddenly, a clear voice rang out.
Mysterious Girl: "You guys! Leave him alone!"
Person 1: "YOU WANNA DIE TOO?!"
Before they could react, the girl lifted her hand—and with a gust of powerful wind, she sent the three bandits flying across the street.
Kaelion: "What... was that...?" he asked, wide-eyed.
Girl: "That's the power of the Tempest Stone. It gives me control over the wind."
Kaelion: "Thanks for saving—"
Before he could finish, Kaelion gasped. A sharp pain pierced his back.
One of the bandits, still conscious, had stabbed him before collapsing.
Kaelion woke up sometime later, lying in a soft bed inside a grand mansion.
Kaelion: "Maybe... this is the girl's mansion? She did look kinda fancy..."
A voice interrupted his thoughts.
Sylena: "It's Sylena."
Kaelion: "AGGH! Where did you come from?!"
Sylena: "Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to scare you."
Kaelion: "It's okay..."
Sylena: "You should come eat something. You need your strength."
Kaelion: "But... wasn't I stabbed?"
Sylena: "I healed you. After all, I know magic." she said with a warm smile
