Chapter 1 - ..Beneath the facade ..

 Chapter 1

At a prestigious college,Damien and, Raven are beloved by everyone. They are the perfect students—handsome, intelligent, charming, and always in the spotlight. Their presence lights up every room, and they've made a name for themselves as the most admired boys in the class.

No one ever questions their perfect façade—except for Elara, a quiet, observant student who has always preferred to stay on the sidelines.

Over time, Elara begins to notice odd things about Damien and Raven. While they're always in the middle of group activities, there's a chilling sense of isolation around them. No matter how friendly they seem, they are never truly part of the crowd.

What catches Elara's attention the most is their frequent late-night trips to the college library, where they seem to vanish into the darkest corners. Other students are focused on their work, but Damien and Raven often linger in shadows, whispering among themselves over strange, ancient texts.

One night, Elara's curiosity leads her to follow them, and what she discovers is nothing like what she imagined. Damien and Raven aren't just studying, they're conducting bizarre rituals. Hidden beneath their academic personas, they are using forbidden knowledge to manipulate time, control minds, and alter reality. The library is just the front of their twisted plans, and soon, Elara realizes that these boys aren't ordinary college students, they're part of a much darker network, involved in practices that could endanger the entire campus, and beyond.

Elara becomes determined to learn the truth, and she spends the following weeks quietly observing them. She documents their meetings and begins connecting dots, piecing together a terrifying picture. She realizes that Damien and Raven aren't just interested in knowledge, they are using their abilities to rewrite memories, control students, and manipulate the college's faculty to serve their own twisted agenda. They are preparing something catastrophic, and Elara knows she must stop them before it's too late.

Elara gathers all the information she can find, from notes to hidden books in the library, and starts working on a plan to expose them. But as she delves deeper into their dark rituals, the danger she faces increases.

She becomes more aware that Damien and Raven are always watching, always one step ahead of her.

One fateful evening, Elara arrives at the library, intending to confront them. But as she enters, she's met with a horrifying sight. Damien and Raven stand at the center of the room, surrounded by books, whispering incantations to something unseen. The room is filled with an oppressive, unnatural atmosphere.

Elara's heart pounds in her chest as she realizes that the ritual they are performing is far darker than anything she could have imagined. They're not just manipulating memories; they are summoning something, a force that could rewrite the very fabric of reality itself.

in a moment of panic, Elara screams. Her voice shatters the silence of the library, and every head turns toward her.

Damien and Raven look up from their ritual, their eyes cold and calculating.

Elara's breath is shaky, her hands trembling as she points toward them.

"Stop! " she cries.

"You're doing something terrible! This isn't just a program. you're messing with people's minds! "

The room falls silent. The students stare at her with confusion, their eyes darting between her and the two boys.Damien and Raven exchange a quiet, knowing look.

Raven steps forward, his expression blank yet strangely calm.

"What's wrong, Elara?"

he asks softly, as if nothing is amiss.

"Why are you screaming?"

Elara's eyes widen in disbelief. She knows what they're doing, but no one else sees it. The students look at her with puzzled expressions, whispering to each other, clearly not understanding what's happening.

"What's going on?"

someone asks.

"Is she okay?"

"She must be losing it,"

another student mutters, laughing nervously.

Elara tries to explain, her voice cracking with desperation.

"They've been controlling people! They're using magic, dark magic to alter minds, to control us all!"

But as her words spill out, the students begin to laugh, a mocking, uncomfortable sound.

"What's she talking about?"

one whispers.

"She's just making stuff up.

"Another student sneers,

"Crazy girl. What is she even saying?"

Damien and Raven remain unfazed, watching Elara with bemusement. The mockery is clear in their eyes.

Raven steps closer to her, his voice low and soothing.

"It's okay, Elara,"

he says, his hand resting lightly on her shoulder. "It seems you're just a little tired. You've been under a lot of stress."

Elara's heart races as she stands frozen in place, her mind screaming for someone to believe her. But the more she protests, the more the students laugh, the more they dismiss her.

They've turned the entire room against her. Their power over the situation is suffocating. The very people Elara thought she could turn to for help are now her enemies, caught in the same web of control Damien and Raven have spun around them.

The two boys exchange a subtle smile, knowing their influence over the college is now complete. Elara's warning has fallen on deaf ears, and the ritual continues uninterrupted.

Elara's mind races. She knows they're getting closer to something far worse, something that could change everything, but she's helpless. She's alone in this fight.

In that moment, Elara realizes that no one will believe her. The power Damien and Raven hold is so deep, so ingrained in the college's very fabric, that they have made it impossible for anyone to see the truth.

As she looks around, her eyes filled with terror and disbelief, the weight of her isolation settles over her. The room is full of people, but it feels emptier than ever before.
