Chapter 1 - Transmigration: Hello From The System

Shanghai -

"...tap tap tap.." walking sounds

"The business meeting had dragged on forever....."

"By the time I finally left, I was completely drained. My brain felt like mush, even though we'd closed a big deal. All I wanted was to get home, take a shower, and crash." while murmuring to himself the figure walked along the sidewalk.

The sounds of Shanghai blurring around his eyes. Each step felt heavy. His mind kept replaying the day's discussions, but it was getting harder to focus. Almost there, was what he thought, seeing the lights of his apartment building in the distance.

-----------------------

My name is Rihaan. I used to live in Xinjiang, but for college, I moved to the crazy busy city of Shanghai.

I guess you could say I was pretty smart, especially when it came to understanding how things worked.

I loved figuring out complicated stuff, like how to make computer chips faster and even designing new kinds of technology for defense. People said I had a real gift for it.

I worked hard, and things were starting to go really well for me. I was making breakthroughs, creating things that people said were impossible. But I guess when you do well, not everyone is happy for you.

There were some who were jealous, who wanted what I had without putting in the work.

Putting these thoughts aside, he started pacing up.

----------------------------------

-- Rihaan's POV --

After a heavy day at work

I reached the crosswalk. The light turned green, and I started to walk. I was so tired, I barely noticed the truck speeding towards me.

One moment I was thinking about sleep, the next there was a loud crash and everything went black.

Then, I wasn't tired anymore.

I dont know for how long i was blacked-out.

But when i opened my eyes, i saw .....Blankness.

I was… somewhere else. It wasn't Shanghai.

The sky was a weird black color. wait.. its not just the sky but the place itself is void of anything

 I think i'mhaving a nightmare.

So after putting this thought , i chose to close my eyes again and thought to wake up after having a long sleep, as my mind was already drained.,

---------------

-- Author's POV --

After a long, long time in a still state, Rihaan slowly opened his eyes and woke up.

He found himself in a room which looked like... uhh... an old-fashioned prison cell? a place where even the birds wouldn't dare to leave their droppings.

He looked at the old mat beneath him and a candle lamp in front, which indicated that he was in a remote place in some rural area.

He stood up and tried to take a step when suddenly he felt dizzy, as if his head would burst open.

He still hadn't known that he had been transmigrated to another world and was possessing another person's body,

and he wouldn't know until a flood of memories and information jammed into his soul.

------------

"Ahhh..... " For a while, he stood there with the support of the wall, screaming at the top of his lungs, until the pain subsided and he fell unconscious.

Hearing the loud scream from the cell, some servants and a steward came running to this place.

Then, what looked like a body caught their eye.

As they looked at the unconscious face of the body lying down, they felt strange, trying to make sense of the matter – was this the guy who had screamed just now?

The steward, who looked incredibly ugly, ordered the servant, "What the fuck are you looking at? Open the cell for me!"

he screamed at the top of his lungs. The servants, scared silly, opened the cell in a hurry.

The steward walked into the cell. Looking at the lying body on the floor, he snorted disdainfully, "Hmph, screaming as if his life's on the line, making us run for nothing."

The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. "This son of a bitch..." unable to control his rising anger, he kicked heavily at the ribs.

Rihaan, who had been unconscious for a while, opened his eyes in pain as he felt cracks in his ribs. As he raised his head to look at the person in question,

his mind raced at the speed of light and recognized the man as the steward of the Luo Family, a declining wealthy family.

Then, he received the memories of the possessed body's information and about the place where he was.

-----------------------------------

On the other hand -

Looking at the dazed Luo Zheng (Rihaan),

the steward thought to teach him a lesson, feeling insulted for being ignored by this pathetic guy,

"Beat this guy until he learns how to show respect to a person, and don't give him a meal for tonight's dinner," after saying this, he turned around.

Then he heard the sound of beating behind his back.

"Does he still think that he is the high and mighty young master Luo?" he murmured, turning his head back to take one more look at that miserable face. "...hahahahaha!" Looking at the miserable, bruised face of the once young master Luo, the steward laughed heartily, reveling in his power.

Feeling elated, he took his leave from this place.

--------------------- After a while ---------

---- Rihaan's POV ----

After being beaten for a long time, the battered Rihaan tried to sit on the mat.

"uhh.."

"They beat me as if i had slept with their wives..." he murmered to himself.

Taking a seating position, he finally could sit properly.

During the time he was beaten, the memories of the body merged into his, and he finally knew the answer to his questions.

It was hard to digest for him, but he still had to believe that, he had transmigrated to the world of 'Apotheosis'.

As to how he is familiar to this? well, before he got into accident, he was a fan of this manhua, which narrated the rise of Luo zheng to godhood.

He found it hard to believe.

That, he had transmigrated and possessed the body of the same main character.

----

To understand the situation better, he digested the whole memory and finally came to an answer.

- That is, he was currently at Luo family slave cell room.

Before the day he used the hidden sanskrit left by his father.

--------------------------------

Now that he understood his situation, he tried to devise an escape plan.

With his god-level comprehension ability, he attempted to formulate a plan to break free from this predicament.

While he was contemplating, he suddenly heard,

"Ting! Congratulations to the Host on binding with The Billion Times Critical Hit System."

Hearing this strange sound in his mind, Rihaan initially flinched.

But then, excitement spread across his face, as he recognized that his golden finger had arrived.

"hehe, looks like even the lady luck is with me, it's not everyday that you get to bind a system."

"Now, here i have it..." feeling elated that he got system, rihaan for a moment forgeot that, he had to devise a plan to overcome this cumberstone situation.

He asks the system, " Hey system, what can you do?" the most useless yet the most rational question.

"I Can return upto billions of folds for anything that you consume or build " said the system in monologue tone.
