Chapter 16 - The World Evaluation Ceremony

"You have taken your first steps toward godhood."

Her voice rang out with a cold finality that echoed in the room, filling the tense silence with a chilling weight. Every student stood still, their nerves palpable in the air.

"Today, your worlds will be judged. Not by bias. Not by preference. But by the laws of creation themselves."

The teacher raised her hand in a fluid motion. As if at her command, brilliant holograms erupted into life above each evaluation platform. They flickered with the vibrant energy of each student's world, casting light on the students below. The atmosphere shifted from tense anticipation to awe, as the students knew their worlds would soon be revealed in front of everyone.

"Step forward when your name is called. Reveal your world. Show us the fruits of your labor."

Her gaze swept over the students, each one feeling the weight of her words.

"And may your future be decided accordingly."

The room held its breath as each student waited for their turn. One by one, they stepped up, revealing their worlds—lush forests, vast oceans, towering mountains—each world a reflection of the student's vision, their power, and their potential.

Keshav stood near the back, his nerves starting to rise again. His world, though created with care, was not as vibrant or alive as some of the others, yet it held the promise of growth.

Finally, his name was called.

"Keshav Garg."

A murmur rippled through the room. Keshav moved to the platform, his heartbeat quickening with every step. He placed his hand on the glowing platform, and his world began to manifest above him.

A spherical planet appeared, a bit larger than most of the other students' worlds. Rivers cut across the terrain, flowing into expansive oceans. Vast mountains rose from the surface, their peaks piercing the thin atmosphere. On the surface, there was life: forests filled with trees, plants, and small animals scurrying around, though none of it was fully developed yet. The artificial sun hung low above the world, casting a pale yet steady light across the landscape.

The world was not barren—it had life. It was a small, contained ecosystem, slowly evolving. The Space Energy pulsed subtly throughout, distorting the space around it in an intricate pattern, bending time and space to create a fragile balance. Keshav's world was a place of balance, a foundation for life to grow, with his energy lingering quietly beneath the surface.

The teacher's expression remained neutral as she examined the hologram. The room fell silent.

After a long pause, the teacher spoke.

"Tier 3 Energy… Space Energy."

Her words rang out, and Keshav felt the weight of the recognition sink deep within him. Space Energy—an energy tied to the fabric of space itself, capable of distorting and manipulating the very nature of existence. It was not something typically awakened at this stage, let alone in such a controlled and subtle way.

The murmurs around him started, hushed whispers at first, and then louder as more students began to process what they were seeing.

"Wait… Space Energy?" a student near the front whispered, her voice full of awe. "That's… incredible."

Keshav glanced around, noticing the shift in the students' expressions. Most of them had expected a Tier 1 or Tier 2 energy, something more common, easier to control. Space Energy was different. It was an energy that bent the very rules of reality.

"Is it real?" another student asked quietly, a mix of disbelief and admiration in his voice. "He's really awakened Space Energy?"

The teacher addressed the class, her tone turning slightly more serious.

"Yes, this is Space Energy. It represents the ability to distort the very fabric of space and time. It is difficult to control and even harder to stabilize. It is a dangerous energy—one that few can awaken at this stage. But it holds incredible potential for those who are capable of mastering it."

Keshav stepped back as the teacher gestured for him to return to his place. His mind was spinning. He had awakened the energy, but now what? How could he control it? How could he make it grow and evolve?

As he moved back to his seat, the whispers continued around him. Some students looked at him with newfound respect, others with concern. Keshav could feel the weight of their gazes, some filled with awe, others with apprehension.

Aria, the friendly rival he had spoken to earlier, caught his gaze as he sat down. A smile tugged at her lips, though there was a hint of uncertainty in her eyes.

"Space Energy… Huh?" she said quietly, her voice a mix of admiration and curiosity. "That's… impressive, Keshav."

Keshav nodded, his mind still racing. He had done it, but this was just the beginning. Now, the real challenge began. Could he master Space Energy? Could he harness it to its fullest potential?

As the teacher continued the evaluations, Keshav sat back in his seat, his thoughts spinning. He had created life in his world, but it was the energy within it that would shape its future. And now, it was up to him to see how far he could push that energy—how far he could push himself.

System's POV:

Scanning Keshav's world...

The system observed the world Keshav had created. The structure of the Space Energy was unlike anything the system had encountered before. It wasn't just raw power—it was intricately woven into the very fabric of the world, distorting space, shifting time, and bending reality itself.

Analyzing the components...

The system focused its attention on the energy itself. Space Energy was not merely a power to be controlled—it was a force that manipulated the laws of physics, creating anomalies in the environment. The world was small, but the energy within it resonated with an unnatural intensity, shaping the landscape and the ecosystems in ways that were still incomprehensible to the system.

Examining structure...

The system used its scanning abilities to break down the components of the energy. The subtle distortions in space, the manipulation of time within localized areas, and the interaction between these forces were all meticulously analyzed. The system did not focus on potential—it focused solely on understanding the structure of this energy, as this would allow it to replicate it using its own creation abilities.

Calculating structural replication...

The system recognized that in order to replicate this energy, it would need to adjust its internal creation protocols. However, Space Energy's complexity was on a level far beyond the system's current abilities. It wasn't just a matter of generating raw power—it involved a deep understanding of space-time manipulation.

Upgrading calculation abilities...

The system's internal processes hummed as it allocated 100 EP from its reserves of 127 EP to upgrade its calculation abilities. The system needed to process the intricate details of this energy in real time, to break it down into something usable.

Calculation abilities upgraded.(10x)

Initiating improved replication protocols...

The system now had the ability to calculate and replicate the basic structure of the Space Energy. However, it understood that replication didn't guarantee control. The real challenge lay in adapting this energy into something it could use—something it could harness.
